Can't join a yahoo group?!?
Hi, i can't join a group, no matter what. When i'm on a yahoo group page, i click on 'join this group' and i always get redirected to the page that says me that i first have to create a profile. I just did this, now i give my profile name, and then i land on my profile page, nothing more. I try again, same thing. Do i have to wait for a profile check or something before i can use this profile to join a group? Please help... greetings, tom
Can a Facebook Page join a Facebook Group?
Late to the game on this one but recent changes mean that you can now link a page (not a personal page though) to a group. It took a bit of looking around the internet but I managed to find this link https://thedigiterati.com/link-f... I did this with my three Facebook groups, The Artist Hangout, The Artists Exchange, and The Artists Directory and linked them to my own business page as I am an artist and blogger. In short, here's how it's done. 1.Go to your Page and click Settings2.Click on Edit Page3.Scroll down to look at the tabs4.Click on "Add a Tab" at the bottom5.Select "Groups"6.Now drag the Groups Tab up the list7.Click on Settings. The url shows where all the Groups connected8.Go back to the Page and see how your Groups tab now shows up in the left hand nav9.Now (this is important) click on the Groups tab to tell Facebook which Group to link to your Page10.Either choose your Group from what Facebook surfaces or, if your Group isn't shown, click "Link Your Group"11.Now your Group is linked to your Page12.Now when you write in the Group you can do so as your Page rather than as your personal Profile13.Click on the drop down in the top right to choose your posting personaHope this helps! On Facebook, it won't let me join a group. Why?
Whenever I try to join a group, it says I join it, then it takes me to the group page, and the Join Group button is clickable. It also doesn't show the group I joined in my profile, or it won't let me write on the group wall. Please help. I've tried to join these groups like a billion times, but it just won't work!
Why am I blocked from joining groups and posting in groups on Facebook for one week?
FB has algorithms that detect when somebody is messaging a great number of individuals in short period of time - or somebody reported you for spam like behavior (such as cross-posting your ad/link/message onto group after group but never actually interacting w/ people IN the group or participating in any of the conversation threads except maybe to post your ad or link)People not knowing how to properly market OFTEN resort to spam like activity to generate interest (Mass marketing to every at large vs. targeting their ideal client or user). And not understanding or realizing that this actually turns people off from their ad or message.
Can't create a 'public profile' to join group . . .?
I am trying to join a 'private group. I login to yahoo. I click on 'join group' and a small window pops update advising me to create a new public profile. This brings back me to the yahoo login page. I log in again and am taken to the yahoo home page. How do I join the group???
I have a Yahoo profile, but everytime I try to get into my groups Yahoo tells me I must first create a profile?
YAHOO PROFILE INSTRUCTIONS Listed below are step by step instructions I have written on how to set up or edit your profile with yahoo groups! THIS IS FOR PEOPLE OVER THE AGE OF 18 ONLY! Effective January 1, 2003, all members of adult yahoo groups must have a profile on file! 1. Go to http://groups.yahoo.com 2. Click on "sign in" (upper right hand corner) 3. Enter your yahoo ID and password, click on sign in 4. On next page click on "ACCOUNT INFORMATION" (you may have to enter your password again) 5. You should now be on the "ACCOUNT INFORMATION" page 6. Look where it says "PUBLIC INFORMATION". Under that you should see "PUBLIC PROFILES" and then your Yahoo ID listed. Click on "EDIT/CREATE PROFILES". 7. If you don't have a profile already, click on "CREATE A NEW PUBLIC PROFILE". If you have a public profile, skip to step #9. 8. Fill in all info on this screen: A) Name Your Profile B) Expand Your file--(Fill in Your name; Fill in your Nick Name; Fill in your Location; Fill in your Age; Fill in your gender) C) You can fill in the other info if you wish. D) Scroll down to Item #3 "CHOOSE DISPLAY OPTIONS". Where it says "ADULT CONTENT" MAKE SURE YOU CHECK THIS OPTION!!!!. Also check underneath it where it says "DIRECTORY LISTING". E) Click on Create profile and you are done! 9. If you already have a profile set up, click on "EDIT", then click on "EDIT PROFILE INFORMATION". Make sure all items in Step #8 above are in your profile! Then click on update and you are done. MAKE SURE ALL THE INFORMATION IN STEP #8 IS IN HERE BEFORE YOU CLICK ON UPDATE! Joining a Yahoo Group: Sorry, an error occurred while loading the content.?
Hi there, I'm trying to join the charity webmasters forum Yahoo! group 'https://groups.yahoo.com/neo/groups/charitywebforum/info'. I enter my details on the overlay window and get an error message in red at the bottom saying 'Sorry, an error occurred while loading the content.' Have tried several times on both Firefox and Safari (am working on a Mac). Is there any way around this so I can apply to join the group? Many thanks, Natasha
