Iv Been Sick For A Week I Think It

It been two weeks and I'm still sick. What do I do?

As Rebecca suggested, going to a doctor would be a good decision. Or perhaps a shaman/witchdoctor if you prefer more archaic methods.

I've been sick for over 2 weeks!?

Use a Q-tip to gently clean inside your ears. Too much ear wax build up can cause all sorts of health issues.
Allergies and a cold have very similar symptoms.
Either ways, you could try one of these natural remedies:
1) Cayenne Pepper Tea: Boil a cup of water, add 1/4(one quarter) teaspoon of Cayenne Pepper Powder, mix well and sip it till it's all gone.
Your nose will thank you soon after the third sip. lol
2) Ginger Tea: Bring to a boil a cup of water with 6+ fresh slices of ginger, let it cool for a minute(add 1tsp of honey/optional) and sip it till it's all gone.
3) Chew/eat half clove of garlic (raw) ..... then drink half a cup of warm water.
4) Add 1 tablespoon of Apple Cider Vinegar to half a glass of water and drink it.

The above remedies are also helpful for acid/reflux/heartburn/gas.

I've been sick for a week but I've never been sick like this before what might these symptoms be?

Like 2 weeks ago I was sick for a little while with the common flu and I got over it, then last Thursday or Friday I started getting this uncomfortable pain in my throat. I had an annoying cough and I was smoking weed at the time so I thought it was from that, but after a few days the pain was still there I quit smoking for a while to see if it would go away. Its Wednesday now and its only been getting worse, the pain in my throat makes it extremely hard to swallow, when I wake up my mouth feels dry beyond belief as if I have serious cotton mouth... but i haven't been smoking so it is strange to me. The last couple days I haven't been able to sleep at all, but I finally got some last night. I'm constantly blowing my nose and the color is very dark green and sometimes I blow pure blood out and that worry's me, and my mouth has been full of mucus all the time, leaving this disgusting sticky texture and it even makes talking kind of funny sounding. The cough has kind of gone away and I don't really have the fever today anymore but when i woke up my mouth was so mucusy I coughed a little and then puked out mucus but as I puked I had a minor nose bleed. My head sometimes pounds but im guessing that's a sinus headache. And my ears have this weird feeling whenever i swallow, cough, or blow my nose. So it all sounds very disturbing and im not sure if I should see a doctor or not or just keep taking the DayQuil and NyQuil, Mucinex 600mg, Zicam cold remedy throat losengers and the Zicam rapid melts. I also rub Vicks on my chest and feet to keep myself from coughing. But if someone could please tell me if this is just like a serious cold and it will eventually go away, or if i should seek medical attention, Im kind of worried that it may be Bronchitis even though I don't cough alot or very violently or Pneumonia but Im afraid if I go to the hospital I know the do drug screening and I will come up Positive for Marijuana I just wanted to know if since im 18 that this is Doctor Patient Confidentiality?! alright thank you and try to get back to me asap!

I've been sick for 3 weeks?

no you really don't need to go to the doctor. what your body is fighting right now is both a virus and bacteria. white means its a virus, green or yellow it means its bacteria. you have BOTH. The best you can do is get lots of rest. Also drink lots of water and ONLY water. cough up all of your phlegm. You can do this by dipping a cotton ball in olive oil and swab the back of your throat lightly, but don't make yourself throw up. congestion can be cured if you drink Ginger(Crush it in a blender and then strain it and drink the juice) or ginsing tea (don't drink the store stuff actually buy the root and brew it) you can also eat plenty of citrus fruits such as oranges, grapefruit and pumelo. don't expose your skin when you go outside. also when you go outside ALWAYS wear a hat. its essential to wear a hat because then you head is warm.. When you head is warm if gets everything else warm. the pink eye should go away in time

Constant coughing for weeks, but not sick?

H'okay. I'm not sick, but I've been coughing just about constantly for a few weeks now. About three weeks. My throat just... never clears. I'm seriously tired of these major coughing fits. It sucks.
Dad thinks I'm 'not coughing at all' and 'nothing is wrong' - he doesn't pay much attention.
Grandmother thinks it should be checked out, though there's nothing she can do, since Dad thinks I'm fine.
Nothing's making it any better, either. Water, cough drops, etc. But, I'm definitely sick of this.

I've been sick with the flu for a week and then my brother has laxative pranked me , I feel horrible .?

Title says it . Had a stomach bug for about a week, vomiting and diareeha. And then my brother decided to put a couple of laxative "ducolax" in my cup of tea, it's made
All the symptoms of the flu worse . I honestly feel so sick and sucked in.

My mama has given him hell for it by the way.

I have been sick for a week and a half what should i do?

i have been sick for a week and a half now. i have a stuffy nose sometimes with yellow snot and other times with whit snot, am extra tried, and i have a cough. in the mornings i wake up coughing so bad that i about throw up, during the day i don't cough, in the evenings my coughing is mild to moderate. last tuesday i had a headache in the afternoon. i am pretty that i have a sinus infection. i told my mom about it and she was ok. i asked her to call the doctor for me, i asked her 2 days in a row to do it and she never did it. she said that all they are going to do is tell me what kind of over the counter medication to take. so in other words my mom won't take me to the doctors, she wants me to just ride it out. should i just ride it out or should i fight her about going to the doctors. i have no fever at all.

P.S. i hate coughing so bad that i about throw up.

i forgot to mention that i have been extra tired, last week threw today i have awaken up early everyday. the latest i slept till was 7am the earliest i slept till was 4:45am than i wake up coughing and can't go back to sleep. Today I did sleep in until 8:30.

This morning I am coughing bad again to the point where I about throw up. I also took some Dimetapp for my stuffy nose , and so far today it isn’t helping very much..

I've been sick for 1.5 weeks. Whats wrong with me?

I've been sick for about a week and a half now. I've been having typical cold symptoms: coughing, runny nose, aching all over, chills etc. and this morning i woke up with a sore throat.

Is this normal for a cold to last this long or is this something else? It's finals for me so i haven't been getting much sleep. Even so i feel like this cold should be gone by now.

How can I restore my singing voice after being sick for a week... and a half?

Just recently, I had gotten a stomach virus. It was horrible and I couldn't do much. Including singing. Now, I'm feeling much better but my singing voice doesn't seem to be it's regular self. It's not bad or anything but whenever I sing high notes it's not as strong or high, it's hard doing dynamics and my voice's strength has become slightly poor. I haven't become terrible by any means, but something is off.

So... after not singing for about two weeks, is this normal?

What can I do to restore my voice? Exercises maybe...?

Please and Thank You!

My dad died 2 weeks ago, even since then I've been feeling sick and getting headaches constantly, should I contact a doctor or is this what grief is?

Well, grief is something very personal, and has a lot to do of what that person meant to you. Everybody feels sad, it’s normal, but your sadness is different than mine surely.Maybe it is your body releasing the great stress it is of dealing with the loss (if releasing stress is a thing, it is just what I feel when I’m feeling those kind of symptoms you describe, happens a lot after a stressful situation - car accidents, bad news, work related stress, etc).I know many many people (mostly men) who don’t cry after someone they are dear to has gone. But surely they suffer, but on their way. What I suggest is let time go by. Allow yourself to think of your dad, when you are alone. Let those good and bad memories come back and face them. If you must cry, scream, throw yourself to the floor, break things, just do it. Allow that sadness run in your veins, alone. Then sleep. It will be just a tiny bit better the next day, week, month, year. If you are not comfortable to do it alone, talk to somebody  who is far from the situation (a stranger, a good friend that doesn’t happen to have know your dad, a therapist). But if those symptoms persist, obviously go to the doctor. How I know all of this? Many different people I know died, ones very recently, ones out of the blue. But the hardest was my grandmother (who was the key element of my life) passed away 3 years ago, and I still fell the emptiness (no one would ever fill it) but its okay now. Do I still cry? Yes. Do I still get sick? Yes. I still allow myself to think of her, sometimes how I miss and need her now, sometimes about how great she was. I allow myself to take her place in the World, and do the things she though me (we cooked together all the time, I honor her everyday with every meal or treat I make). We Portuguese have the word “saudade” that describes what you will fell later when years have passed. Love that feeling, it is your dad looking for you, wherever he is!
