Ive Been Having Bad Nightmares Lately Where I Can Feel A Very Terrifying Very Evil Presence In My

What films have given you nightmares?

Oh! nobody is going to believe my answer, but here it goes,“HER” is the movie that really played with my head! Yes i am ashamed of the truth, but it is. I think it was partially because of Scarlett Johannson, I was using headphones and damn! that girls voice really messed up with my head. My dream was not steady, it was like a series of random thoughts, like flipping pages and scenes from the film and my life were appearing randomly, with her voice talking something which I was able to recognize but not understand. I remember waking up inbetween my sleep and then dozing off to only wake up again. This cycle continued until morning. I guess one of the reasons is the break up scene at the end, which I can connect metaphorically, as they both did not want break up but had to break up.Nevertheless I liked the movie a lot and Her voice was mesmerizing. I am surprised some have accepted to the fact, if you read this answer and felt the same way, i would like to know more..please leave some comments of how you felt, …..

What does it mean when I have nightmares about being raped by my dad?

It's impossible to tell you the reason without having much more details about your life and relationship with your father than you can share here. Such nightmares are usually not caused by only one thing. Dreams are always a combination of multiple events and that makes the answers for "Why?" a very long list. Your subconscious basically saves all the information you've ever learned, all sounds, colors, feelings....make a short movie with them, and show you in dream form.People always look for a meaning in dreams but this is not always the case. Not every dream has a deep meaning. Dreams can get very obsessive in themselves, especially nightmares. The reason why you have nightmares about your father raping you might be even something like, step by step;1. You read/heard/thought about a father molesting or raping his daughter2. Had a nightmare like that because that news got stuck in your head3. You got so affected by that nightmare that you had the same nightmare again4. After having that nightmare two times, you got even more scared of having the nightmare and you had/are having that nightmare because you're scared of having that.Related funny note: This exact thing happened to me after I had a sexual dream about Mick Jagger. I still sometimes have sex dreams that involves Mick Jagger even though I have no desire or ever had.Rape dreams can also be the result of person feeling like she/he has no control in their lives. If you somehow feel you're overcome by your father, if you feel like he is more involved in your life and/or decisions than you'd like, if you think he doesn't respect your privacy or borders as much as you want, this can also lead to such nightmares.

I've been having really bad dreams for the last two days now. Why am I dreaming these things?

It sounds like you are having nightmares, which work as a vicious cycle by alerting you to a bad situation and feeding that situation back into the senses they heighten by the alarm they cause. This is often why nightmares become Lucid Dreams and can become powerful enough to wake someone up (often in fright). The good news is when you see this for what it truly is you may realize that you do not have to feel terrorized by this.Dreams are often emotional-based, it doesn’t matter if it is a shark or a toothbrush chasing you it matters more how you feel about the dream situation. And in the case of nightmares they really are just your brains way of trying to draw your attention to some aspect of your life. The bad news is nobody else can tell you how you feel because only you know that and only you can identify the issues in your life that the dream relates to but I can offer some suggestions/advice or examples that may be of use.So the presence of a nightmare tends to indicate that your brain is trying to teach you something. There may be an event in your life that you have been fighting to forget instead of learning how to acknowledge and move on from. There may be a something or someone that you have been trying to hold on to that you need to let go of. It may be that you need to acknowledge some truth about your situation and use how things are as a foundation rather than how you hope them to be. These are only some examples that you may or may not find useful.Good luck and I wish you many future Sweet Dreams.

What are the effective treatments for sleep paralysis?

Some people want to get sleep paralysis while you want to prevent it, is it a paradox?Regarding your question, sleep paralysis can be transformed into a lucid dream (you know you are dreaming) so if you are interested in that give it a search on google. If you find yourself trapped inside sleep paralysis these may help you:Footsteps thumping towards the bed are a distortion of the sound of your own heartbeat, pounding in your chest due to the adrenaline.Hearing an imaginary assailant breathing unnaturally is common too. It's thought to be the sound of your own gasps for breath in this panicked state. The feeling of your body being paralyzed is very real, too. This may make your chest feel tight, but remember you can still breathe normally. (You usually breathe while you're asleep, right?)You may find that your attacker compresses your chest. Again, this is your half-asleep brain rationalizing your limited breathing. Thankfully, any evil entities you see during sleep paralysis are not real. If you are hallucinating a bad guy in your bedroom, remember: it's an illusion. A kind of waking nightmare. You may feel like you're being pulled or are floating out of bed. This reflects your mind's tenuous grip on real-world bodily sensations. When you can't feel your body, the mind starts to invent feelings for it. And usually, they're pretty floaty. This floatiness is perfectly normal during so-called out-of-body experiences, which are actually better defined as types of lucid dreams. Such experience always occur during this borderland sleep state. So, as a conclusion everything is just inside your mind so try to conquer the fear.

Paranormal enchanted spell board?

My bestfriend and I bought an Enchanted Spell board at barnes & nobles. We were excited and curious to play it. Before we played it we said a prayer, and we asked for good spirits. When I would play it alone it would move..when he tried to play it alone it wouldnt work. The wierd thing about it was when I would put my hands over his hands it would start moving. Im really in too paranormal stuff and very open minded about it..he isnt. So the next day I woke up with a major headache feeling weak and my whole body hurting. My friend had told me that some spirits can drain all your energy. Well after that day I started getting real bad nightmares about spirits and evil stuff. Also I was sleeping in the afternoon and when I woke up I opened my eyes and saw a black shadow of a man standing real close to me by my bed. So I closed my eyes real tight and prayed to god for it to go away and protect me. I then opened my eyes and it was gone..Never in my life have I expierenced anything like this!
Do you guys think it was because I played the enchanted spell board???
What should I do for it to stop?? Should we burn the board? Help please!!
