Ive Got An Interview For Just For Pets What Should I Wear

What should I wear to a pet store interview?

I think for job interviews it is always better to over-dress than under-dress.

I'd go with nice black pants, and a nice shirt. You say you don't have any button up blouses, well you may just want to go ahead and invest in one because you will probably need to wear it quite a bit in the next few years. If you can't get one, go with a nice fitted tshirt, no writing or extreme colours. Something classy and simple. Flats are good- make sure your stockings/socks match (no white socks/black shoes & vice versa)

They will probably ask what sort of experience or knowledge you have about animals, ask you questions about customer service (if a customer came in and was really angry, what would you do?), "name a time when you used teamwork to solve a problem", name a time when you had to do... something something something to do this or that...." it's pretty random. I've had a few jobs in the last several years and they ask questions mostly about experience or what you would do in a situation. Since you don't have work experience, think of school group projects, clubs, teams, volunteer service, you were involved in.

Introduce yourself, make and maintain eye contact, and offer a firm strong handshake. At the end of the interview say "Thank you for your time Mr./Mrs. (?), it was a pleasure meeting you" and another firm hand shake.

THEN!!! Very important part- how I got most of my jobs- follow up! Call them back in 2 days, talk to the same person you interviewed with, and say "hello, this is (?), I had an interview with you on Tuesday, I am just following up with you on your available associate's position...."

Call back every 2-3 days until they hire you or tell you the position was filled.

Good luck!

What should I wear to a dog bather interview?

Comfortable shoes with slip resistant soles. Jeans (not the skin tight kind) and a T-shirt. Bring a rubber or plastic apron if you have one.

If your bathing job also includes prepping, you may need a good electric clipper, some blades and a good brush or two and a comb. A mat breaker and mat rake would be quite handy, also.

What to wear to my equine college interview..?

i have to wear my 'riding attire' as the letter said.
Im not sure whether i should wear sort of show clothes or smart but casual clothes... i wouldnt of thought show clothes really but i just want to make sure,

i was thinking more -
navy/black jods (which colours best? )
my long riding boots
a hooded jumper thing (also what colour would be best because it cant match my jods - it would look to weird but then i cant go wearing a pink hoody.)

i want to look casual but not too casual..
hah i know i sound so petty just im super nervous, im only 15.. im finishing my gcse's then going there in september (if i get in).

also my riding at the moment is.. well lets just say i think i've gotten into a few bad habits, i've been riding my mare who bucks sometimes so when cantering i lean back a bit.. just incase she bucks.. and then i've been riding my stubborn green broke gelding who likes to rear and buck.. soo the way i ride is sort of a way so i dont fall off every 2 seconds.. so i was thinking should i borrow my mums friends 7year old tb gelding who is a schoolmaster, just so i can try cantering ect without anticipating bucks or rears..

also i have no idea about cantering on the correct leg ect.. and little terms that they'll expect me to know. i think im going to ask my mum for a riding lesson - just to touch up on things..
do you think thats a good idea or do you think i should just go as who i am,

its just that i doubt im going to get the best gcse's - i spend to much time up the farm- so i really want to stand out at the interview, i only need 4 gcse's above a 'c' which is nothing really.. but im crap at exams my mind goes blank, and they also said that only a tiny anount of people dont get into the course each year,,,,,,,,

eugh sorry for my rant and to go completely off the subject, im just so nervous my interview is the 23rd of march and im so so so so so so nervous

but yeah if you could just advise me on anything - it could be the tinyiest thing in the world - it'll be appreciated SO much.
thanks in advance:)

amber.

ps - sorry for the spelling mistakes, i cant be bothered to spell check :D

Can you wear jeans to an interview?

I have an interview in a few hours and I'm not sure what to wear for it now. I was initially going to wear dress pants and a nice shirt, but I just found out my dog completely destroyed the heel of my shoe and that was my only pair of neutral dressy/work appropriate shoes (all I have apart from that are fancier/flashy heels and some black but white soled running shoes that would look weird with the dress pants)

Should I just wear what I was going to wear anyway and substitute in the running shoes? OR would it be acceptable to wear dark wash jeans and the original shirt with the running shoes that would pair up better with the jeans?

The job in question is just a part time parking garage attendant job... It's nothing too fancy anyway so I thought maybe I could potentially get away with the jeans anyway, I just figured it would be safer to dress it up rather than down for an interview but now I don't know if I have much of a choice anymore.

I have an interview at Petsmart tomorrow, how should I dress?

Job interview advice for dog daycare

Wear what I call professional casual. This means that jeans would be out. The button down shirt would be okay. Wear khakis and shoes that would go well with your khakis. Dark colored athletic shoes would be okay. Mostly you will be asked about your animal experience, people experience, and hours that you can work. Do not go in there saying "I just looove dogs," as that will turn off many animal professionals. At doggy daycares you will be required to interact with the dogs, their owners and of course clean up. The fact that you have been a bartender shows that you have people skills which is a plus in an animal industry. Many people who apply for animal jobs forget about the human component in the mix. Good luck.

How do i dress for an interview at teds hot dogs?

Casual docker type pants with a plain polo or blouse. You don't want to dress too nice, that would not be appropriate for that type of job. But remember also, that jeans are never acceptable at a job interview.

I have an interview at a dog boarding and doggy day care and grooming place, what should I wear?

Always dress appropriately for job interview and when in doubt, dress higher then you think you need too. For this type of job, of course business suit would be weird, but jeans are definitely not appropriate. Dress business casual.

If you are a woman: A reasonable length skirt (not mini-skirt) or full-length trousers (not jeans) with a top (such as a dress shirt, polo, or sweater set) is considered acceptable.

If you are a man: A combination of collared shirt (such as a dress shirt or polo shirt), cotton trousers (such as khakis or blue, green, brown, or black trousers) with a belt, and modest shoes (such as loafers) with socks is generally acceptable.
