Since I have seen almost all the Leonardo Di’Caprio’s movies, I think that I am eligible to answer this question. Here’s the list of best Leonardo movies according to me:Inception: 10/10: One of the best movies of Christopher Nolan. This movie is a must watch.2. Titanic: 10/10: This movie is legendary. One of the highest grossing movies of all the time. James Cameron nailed it with this one.3. Blood Diamond: 10/10: Leonardo’s true acting skills were clearly visible in this movie. A must watch for all the Leo fans.4. The Departed: 9.8/105. Shutter Island: 9.5/106. The Great Gatsby: 9.4/107. Django Unchained 9.4/10: Although Leo’s role is quite short in this movie (only one hour our of three), Leo’s acting is irreplaceable in this movie.8. Catch Me If You Can: 9.4/109. The Wolf of Wall Street: 8/1010. What's Eating Gilbert Grape: 8/1011. Gangs of New York: 8/1012. The Aviator: 8/1013. Revolutionary Road: 7.2/10: Leonardo and Kate Winslet together as a couple in one more movie after Titanic! How can someone miss this one?!14. Who is the best actor under 50 in movies today?

A whole lot of my favorites already listed out here, one name not many have mentioned, which I guess was due to the retirement he announced in between, and then came back to the movies.Joaquin Phoenix is one of the best talents around, and at 37 he still has a lot more to offer to us. Gladiator was not just about Maximus, it was equally about Commodus, the wily, treacherous, ruthless nasty emperor. And Joaquin Phoenix's  scheming villain perfectly complemented  Russel Crowe's heroism in that movie. The way he licks his lips, or the scene where he kills his father, the look of guilt, anger on his face, or the envy he displays towards Crowe, everything was just so perfect.A disturbed young teen, seduced by a rich young woman, Nicole Kidman in Gus Van Sant's dark comedy, To Die For, which gets him trapped in a web of murder and intrigue. One of the gang members in The Yards. The kind hearted, religious Abbe Du Coulmuier in Quills, who treats his wards at the asylum as humans, giving them freedom to express themselves artistically. The American GI who indulges in black marketing and heroin supply after the fall of the Berlin Wall in Buffalo Soldiers. The former baseball league player in Signs who confronts questions on his faith. The firefighter Jack Morrison in Ladder 49, a heroic, noble soul, willing to give his life for others. The sympathetic but helpless cameraman Jack Daglish in Hotel Rwanda, who is fully aware of the horrors being perpetrated there, but can do nothing much about it.Bringing alive the country singer Johnny Cash on screen in Walk the Line, right down to the mannerisms, a performance which in any other time would have got the Oscar, but then there was an equally brilliant Philip Seymour Hoffman for Capote.Reservation Road, not a great movie, but Phoenix was outstanding as the father determined to bring to book, the man who had killed his son in a hit and run accident. And I have not yet seen The Master, but going by reviews, it is good that Phoenix changed his mind about retiring from movies, he is a talent we could do with more often on screen.
