Japanese Airport Security

Traveling to Japan: Airport security questions? (TSA pat down/scanners)?

I might be going to Japan sometime in between July and August and just wondered about a few things related to flying there. So, I personally don’t agree one bit with the TSA pat downs and naked body scanners, that’s just MY opinion though, so I’d like to avoid them… Are there any airports in Alaska that don’t use them yet? (I can’t find the list of airports with pat downs and scanners on their site and heard that it isn’t accurate anyways.) Or does Canada have them at all? Also what would I go through when I get to Japan, I know that I’ll be fingerprinted and probably have to take my shoes off and what not…but PLEASE tell me Japan doesn’t use the invasive pat downs (I mean the ones where they use their palms and feel all over your breasts and crotch – not the ones they USED to do where they use the back of their palms and barely pat your sides…) or the naked body scanners…

Anyways I didn’t ask this to get a bunch of ‘you’re so stupid for having your own opinions, beliefs and rights you don’t want trampled all over’ and whatnot. Nor did I ask it to disrespect anyone else’s opinion… I personally just think that invading people’s privacy in such a…harassing way isn’t the way to make people safer, but whatever your opinion is I respect it, I just might not agree. Anyways I >personally< would rather take my chances then get felt up or be looked at naked by some person that might just be a creep.

(So how would I avoid the TSA pat downs and scanners leaving from either Alaska or Canada to Japan, and back?)
(One more slightly unrelated question: If I went from an airport in the US that doesn’t have the TSA pat down/scanners and flew to an airport in a state that has it, would I have to go through the pat down or scanner? What if it was from another country like Canada or Japan (or Mexico)?)

Thank you ahead of time~

Do airport authorities in Japan check for pirated softwares?

I will be leaving for Japan on the 20th and am just curious if airports in Japan(particularly Narita) check for pirated softwares, mp3s or movies. Plus, is it safe for my laptop and portable harddisk to be scanned at the airport? thanks a lot for the information
