Here’s just a few:Guren no Yumiya - Attack on Titan: Performed by Linked Horizon. Oh boy does this OP get you hyped! The intense, dramatic music is coupled with shots of the main characters slicing up titans. Not only does it show off an amazing bit of animation and some of the characters personalities, but it also shows how frightening the titans can be.Colours - Code Geass: Performed by FLOW. I always find this OP makes me surprisingly sad. The truely awesome music is paired with a whole array of visuals, varying from Lelouch using his Geass, to random chess pieces. My favourite part of this OP is when it gets to the climax. We zoom in on Lelouch with his Zero helmet on. As the music builds up, you expect him to swing it off dramatically, but he jut calmly removes it and looks towards the sky.Flyers - Death Parade: Performed by BRADIO. I love this OP not just because of the stunning visuals and music, but because it’s so misleading. For those who don’t know, Death Parade is a morally depressing but thought provoking anime. However, the opening shows no indication of this, with the main characters sitting around happily at bars, drinking and playing games. The chorus literally says ‘Everybody! Put your hands up!’.Tank - Cowboy Bebop: Performed by the Seatbelts. Easily my favourite OP out there. The jazzy, cool music makes for a cool, western cowboy. With only a few words, this instrumental piece revolutionised anime OPs. I also love that despite this, you can get a pretty accurate picture of what the different characters are like just from a few shots.Hero - One Punch Man: Performed by JAM Project. Once again, an AWESOMELY hype OP for an awesomely hyped show. The visuals show Saitama punching his way through bad guys, showing us just what’s he’s capable of. But, once again, by favourite shot of the OP is the last one. It shows Saitama holding a bag of discount groceries. What a trooper.Resonance - Soul Eater: Written by Taku Iwasaki. Awesome music. Awesome visuals (mostly). Awesome nostalgia. Need I say more?History Maker - Yuri on Ice: Performed by Dean Fujioka. Once again, I’m a sucker for nostalgia. The visuals are beautiful as you see the main characters ice skate across the screen. It’s surprisingly soothing and calming. The music has a nice flow to it too, which works well with the visuals.I love each of these openings so much, there’s no way I’d skip them!

“Anime about murder” is very vague. There are tons of anime that use murder as a plot device or worldbuilding concept.
