Why is it that many Asian parents look at the bad grades, and ignore the good grades you have got? Who has had this experience before?

Who was worst? Hitler, Napoleon or Nero?
I would have to say that Hitler was the worst. Nero acted in a way which, although totally reprehensible by today's standards, was consistent with his upbringing as a living God whose every whim was fulfilled. If no-one ever says "No" to you then what you do with pleasure and success must be alright. Plus - he was a God (by all the rules of Godding) so who are we mere mortals to judge him? Napoleon - well, what's he doing in this list? He set up a just legal system, stabilised the French economy and generally acted as a great leader ought to act. His major mistake was trying to fight a campaign on two fronts in the Russian winter. If he hadn't invaded Russia when he did we would probably all be speaking French now and the French Empire would still be covering more than half of Europe. As for Hitler. He was a psychpath who, unfortunately, could exert mesmeric charm and was a great orator. His rise to power after the debacle of the Versaille Treaty should have been foreseen by anyone with half a brain. The German people were crushed and ground into the earth. Their resentment would always have found a voice somewhere and, fair play to him, his Government did get the German economy back on track after the Great Inflation and gave the German people what they wanted - food, jobs and pride. Not that I'm defending his actions at all but, if you look at the situation dispassionately then what happened during his years of office was inevitable given the circumstances and his character.
