What jobs dont allow piercings?
its stretched ears. not gauges.. gauge refers to the thickness of the jewelry (diameter) usually in mm.. so say stretched ears. usually peopel think of large earlobes where you can stick your finger through them.. thats what i think of when i hear it.. i am at a 6g right now and most peopel done evern notice unless im wearing my eyelets. different jobs have different policies for piercings and tattoo. some jobs dont care. other jobs liek mine limit your jewelry to 2 earring per ear and no facial piercings of visible tattoo just to keep it "professional looking" even thoguth its a popular coffee shop (starbucks) and its good you have done your research.. 0g or 2g is considered the point of no return but stretching should be considered permanent since its not gauranteed they will ever go back to normal since everyones bodies are different

Well, since you love piercings so much, why dont you go check out tattoo shops around your place and see if they need a receptionist to take care of customers? You could also work at places like Spencer's gifts...which I always thought would be fun!! I think the biggest problem will be the lip piercings, because oral piercings close up SO fast! Hmm. Your work doesn't allow you to wear them, Why. You can always have a piercing that's not visible like a nipple piercing or a septum (however you'll have to flip it back) Ask you boss to reason why you can't have piercings at work, unless it's a health and safety issue, try to negotiate with them, you can cover any piercing with a band aid until it's healed then you wouldn't have to wear it to work there after if you really can't have piercings at work.

I worked at Target with facial piercings and visible tattoos. I also worked at an Ace Hardware, but those are franchises and it is up to the owner. I now work at a university as a student employee, and they have no problem with them.

Pretty much any potential employer can state that your piercings are not in line with the image they want to project. However, if you plan on wearing the piercings to work, wear them to the interview. You want to show them the employee you plan to be and that includes outward appearances. Yes, your job choices will be limited by the piercings, but if they are that important to you, you wouldn't want a job that was prejudiced against piercings, anyway. I am an executive with a tongue piercing and I've worn it to every interview and client meeting with no ill effects.
