Juicy Question About The Grammy Awards

Buy or sell: Juicy J sold out?

Eazy buy. He hasn't gone hard since he signed to taylor gang. He had a few good songs on the blue dream and lean mixtapes and the rubbaband business mixtapes, but that's it. All his singles were good, but not for him. They'd be better for a mainstream rapper like lil wayne, tyga or 2 chainz. Juicy j doesn't have his old three 6 sound he used to anymore, and he doesn't make those bangers like he used to. As a matter of fact, he doesn't even produce his own songs anymore. He produced gunwalk for lil wayne, but that's all he's produced in over a year I'd bet. When I heard one of those nights, I thought it was the weeknd's song, and juicy j was just featured. When I found out it was juicy j's own song featuring the weeknd, I didn't want to live on this planet anymore. These days, all his verses sound the same. They used to sound raw and mean, but now they sound like pop sell-out songs. When I saw that juicy j was featured on lil wayne's song trippy, I was very excited because I wanted to hear that raw sound, and I thought it would be raw because it wasn't on the radio. But when I listened to it, juicy j's verse sounded like every other rapper out now. Lil wayne's verse actually went harder than juicy j's. Also, juicy j is unloyal to his hypnotize camp posse. He hasn't worked with lil wyte, dj paul, frayser boy, crunchy black, lord infamous or project pat in over a year. Why did Juicy J sell out?

What was the reaction to rap group Three 6 Mafia winning an Oscar?

To concur with the answer above, the reaction was amazing. Dolly Parton (who was nominated that same year) was happy to have the Oscar going to a Tennessee home, and the people of the state were happy to see local musicians win, as well (you can find a few stories about this). The members of Three 6 Mafia have talked about that night in quite a few interviews, and have stated that race issues seem to end when it comes to state pride. Seeing Jamie Foxx in the front row, singing and giving a ‘thumbs up' had a huge impact on Frayser boy and Juicy J.The other side of this is, a lot of people were disgusted by the fact that, yet again, the worst parts of black life in America were agin being praised. Hollywood has a history of portraying black men as gangsters and thugs, and “It's Hard Out Here for a Pimp" winning an Oscar illustrated how happy people are to keep the conversation about black people negative (The same reactions surrounded Denzel not winning an Oscar until he played a dirty cop in Training Day).Personally, I thought it was pretty cool. The song made the movie even better, and the story was really about Howard's character wanting more from life, and hustling to achieve his goals. I had been listening to Three 6 for quite a while at that point, and I felt it was a win for our generation, like they finally cared about what WE thought was good. Thanks for the answer request!

What are some of the best examples of "beauty with brains"?

Raghuram RajanI thought of writing an introduction myself ,but Shobha De has done an awesome job already, so I am just quoting her ."The guy's put 'sex' back into the limp Sensex. That makes him seriously hot. So hot, in fact, he has made it to the Amul hoarding (a first for a chap in his lofty position). But nobody is calling the man a Billboard Bimbo. You know why? Because this man knows his onions. And right now, onions are playing a major role in our lives. Forget our obsession with gold. We are hoarding onions now.All hail the freshly minted 23rd RBI Guv — the very dishy Raghuram Govinda Rajan — the Messiah of Markets. At 50, Rajan is young (come on, SRK at 48 is still playing lover boy), brilliant (IIT-IIM-MIT vaghera, vaghera) and on the ball (ex-IMF chief economist). That his chiselled features are as sharp as his brain, add to his current status as the Poster Boy of Banking.Funny how quickly Rajan has been slotted as a much-panted-after sex symbol (he took over from Duvvuri Subbarao on September 4). He's the guy who's got the groove. I plead guilty, too.Recklessly and happily, I went ahead and tweeted (will this woman never learn?) about his appointment, calling him the Ranbir Kapoor of Banking (note the spelling — banking, there's an 'a' in this word, not an 'o'). Why not? Rajan's sex appeal has propelled him straight into the league of movie stars. He can easily top 'India's Most Desirable' lists.Had he not been in this tricky, ultra conservative (let's be upfront here, and call it tight ass) assignment, he'd have been instantly snapped up by smart celeb managers and signed juicy endorsement deals. Sorry, Raghu. But you are stuck. Deal with it.The media has declared Raghu the latest sex symbol in the land. He should lie back and enjoy the attention. It's not often that one gets an RBI Guv who makes hearts (not just female ones) go dhak dhak each time he strides into a room. I entirely endorse the positioning. Why should only comely ladies in the rarefied world of finance get branded and walk away with all the compliments?Source -http://articles.economictimes.in...

Fill in the blanks. The funniest paragraph wins.?

A long time ago I was a nerdy hippo. During that time I
womped & galloped & even played a kazoo! and I read some magazines, too. . It
bothered me that I couldn't walk but not enough
to do anything about it. One day a ferret in a pink tutu came
along and slapped me. It made me look at
life from the perspective of a lizard instead
of a muffin . My dog and I both went to
a buffet filled with bunches of oats. and when we got out he found
a sobe,which suited his personality
but left him with a purple tongue. I went on to
star in "Worlds sexiest thing." and win a date with Michael Jackson.
Now the boy-sleeping-pedafile stalks me and I'm just as insecure
as I was in the beginning. It just goes to show you, you
can't walk unless you first have some pie.
