Just Had A Work Trial

How does the Netflix free trial work?

The free trial is for any new customers whom are signing up for Netflix for the first time.  Depending on which day of month you sign up, your first bill will be the very same of the following month.Depending on the type of payment being used credit card, debit or paypal, they run an authorization hold usually for 0 dollars.  If you are using a prepaid credit card, those usually are preauthorized for full amount + est. tax.Customers which may have previously had an account closed on Netflix are available for another free trial 12 months after account has been closed.  Netflix offers one free trial per household, every year.

Worried about my pets at home work trial??? Advice please.?

congratulations on getting this far, but no it doesn't mean you've got the job yet. And if you go in with the attitude that you "know you won't get it", you most certainly won't. Be more positive. I also think Pets isn't the best place to be asking a question like this...

If it is a work trial, they are likely going to be testing your customer service abilities, so brush up on those. And find out about the company - having a good read of their website for a start will give you a lot of information about the sort of things they are likely to want in an employee if you look carefully.

As for a formal interview, the best think I can say here is prepare! think up all the questions that they might ask, and think about answers. Make notes and take them with you to the interview - they won't mark you down for that, it actually shows that you have taken enough interest to prepare yourself. These days they are more likely to ask you about your experience than 'where do you want to be in 5 years time' type questions - so make sure you can give an example of when you've done anything from team working to taking initiative to solving a problem to dealing with a difficult customer. Even if your example isn't directly relevant to retail it will show lateral thought. But be honest, don't make stuff up, and don't be afraid to say you haven't got xyz experience, but you are willing to learn.

Good luck.

Trial day @ premier inn?

A trial day? That's big of them!

Sorry... right, basically they want to assess how well you work on a shift so pull a big load of motivation out of your *** and be cheery and pleasant and show them you have a "can do" attitude. Offer to do things they haven't asked you to etc...

Just until you have the job, and then you can relax and just perform the duties expected of you.

Also, suck up a little bit...laugh at your superiors jokes etc (even though they won't be remotely funny!)... you get the drill!

Good luck!

As a trial attorney, what case made you work tirelessly above and beyond?

I can’t think of any case that I did not work tirelessly above and beyond. I ate, slept and became toatally absorbed in all of my cases.I became incredibly focused on all of the facts, all of the witnesses and all of the documents in our case. In one case, I was “second chair” at the trial while our partner “tried” the case. The client expected a name partner to try the case so thepartner tried the case while I sat next to her. In actual fact, I gave the opening, the closing and examined all witnesses except the plaintiff and our client. The partner woudl conduct those two examinations although I prepared the written examination questions for her. During the plaintiff’s testimony, he testified opposite to a fact that he had testified about at the deposition. The fact was a minor point, not particularly important , but for some reason, he changed his testimony. Both the partner and I were a little startled and surprised at his testimony. Without consulting my notes, I whispered to her, ”Page 52 of his deposition about three quarters of the way down the page.” She reached for the deposition, turned to page 52 read the transcript and confronted the witness with the contradiction in the sworn testimony. Surprisingly, he attempted to argue his way out of the contradiction making his entire testimony suspect in the eyes of the jury. The partner sat down and looked at me with awe. Later she asked me if I had memorized the deposition. I told her that I had not, but that “pictures of the pages” were in my brain becasue I had scrutinized them so often. I just saw the picture of the page with the contradiction in my mind and looked down to the corner to get the page number.

What should I do in the one-week job trial period?

Sell yourself. You are getting an opportunity that many people wish they had. Work hard and get your hands on as many things as you think you can handle. Think outside the box and don’t just follow processes that are told to you (if the culture allows for it). Give feedback on existing work and try solving problems that exist in the company/ your task.Good luck!

Does a trial shift mean you get the job?????

trial shifts are usually for them to monitor how well you do at the job. some will get everyone to come in for trial but most will only trial the ones they feel are strong candidates for the job. good luck!
