Just Ran Outside For 30 Minutes Under Bright Sunlight With A New Tattoo . Will It Fade

I'm 30 and always tired. I thought about taking cocaine. I see lots of people doing it and living successful and exciting lives. Is it a bad idea?

Dear Thirty and Tired,Let me tell you about Forty and Miserable. Forty was Thirty once, the vigor of his Twenties had worn off and the humdrum of life had taken its toll. Had Forty visited his doctor previous to visiting a man who would become his simultaneous life giver and taker, Forty would be “"Forty and Alive” instead of “Forty and Miserable”.Forty and Miserable had undiagnosed clinical depression and adult ADD, the inattentive type. Which made everything that was easy for “normal” people, difficult for “Forty”. He was constantly tired, unenthused, disconnected, worn down, had no routine for his days and was losing time. (Sound like you?)He saw his friends and decided to try to live this “"productive and amazing life”…..but he only saw what they portrayed and not the flip side. He didn't see the acne on their backs, their hair falling out. He didn't see the next day when they woke up a zombie, or the nose bleeds or the destroyed relationships. He didn't see what happened when the Coke was cut with meth or Ex. He didn't see the monsters these “"successful friends” were hiding and running from, the empty bank accounts. Didn't see the screaming fights they had with people they loved about their addictions and being Slaves. Forty didn't see the toll these drugs took on their bodies or the years of minute brain damage that added up past the point of repairation. So when Forty was Thirty and Tired he tried it.At first it was amazing, life giving and incredible. His friends noticed this, he was having “fun”, he didn't even need sleep, wasn't tired, etc. but ten years down the line, my how he's aged. And now he's the creepy weird guy.Thirty and Tired, learn a lesson from Forty and Miserable: go to your doctor and get to the root causes. Create a healthy lifestyle. Have a daily routine, take some Wellbutrin, exercise, eat right, turn off your cell phone/screens an hour before a consistent bed time and read a book. Use essential oils and practice deep breathing. Be Thirty and Alive. Be Thirty and Healthy. Be Thirty and Different. Go get the things you want. Go be who you WANT to be. Nothing is stopping you but yourself, and sometimes the things in your way are totally valid!
