I can't sign into my Yahoo email account! Why? ?

Hi.

same thing has happened to me. it says the username/password is wrong every time, right?

and this is the SECOND time it has happened. the first time, they had completely deactivated my yahoo account. You can tell if this is the case by googling your old Y!A name and seeing if your profile comes up or if it says 'oops' message.

But THIS time, my old profile DOES come up. It hasn't been deactivated/suspended. Because we can't even access mail! WHAT HAS HAPPENED

Try asking on the suggestions board, everyone. Click on 'tell us what you think' at the bottom of this page. And then 'make a suggestion' and ask as a 'question' what's happened. Sometimes the yahoo team replies, or a user might be able to help.

Get a No Cost Background Check Scan at https://bitly.im/aOqId

Its a sensible way to start. The site allows you to do a no cost scan simply to find out if any sort of data is in existence. A smaller analysis is done without cost. To get a detailed report its a modest payment.

You may not realize how many good reasons there are to try and find out more about the people around you. After all, whether you're talking about new friends, employees, doctors, caretakers for elderly family members, or even significant others, you, as a citizen, have a right to know whether the people you surround yourself with are who they say they are. This goes double in any situation that involves your children, which not only includes teachers and babysitters, but also scout masters, little league coaches and others. Bottom line, if you want to find out more about someone, you should perform a background check.

I tried to restore the iPhone after backing up but it says "iTunes could not restore the iPhone "____'siPhone" because the password was incorrect. I tried password of both the computer and my Apple ID but it doesn't work. What can I do?

This literally just happened to me right now. I put in a request to AT&T for an unlock, and when they approved it, I backed up my phone and erased it, which *requires* you to enter your current AppleID password (which I recently changed, but well before backing up today), in order to deactivate “Find My iPhone”.Upon attempting to restore, iTunes asked me to input the password, so I put in my AppleID password. NOPE.I put in my iPhone PIN. NOPE.I put in my last AppleID password. NOPE.I put in the AppleID password I used before *that*. NOPE.Finally, I used my Windows account password, and that worked. Now, it might just be a coincidence that I used the same password on my iPhone 6S, which I got a little over two years ago I first set it up, or it might be that it actually wanted my Windows 10 password. IDK, but I’m pretty sure I never selected “encrypted backup”, because there are no national security secrets on my iPhone that Apple or the NSA didn’t put there to spy on me.I still have 4 minutes to go before the restore is finished. Hopefully, my iPhone still works, but it is unlocked from AT&T, now.[Update: Upon finishing the restore, I can now see in iTunes that I had indeed selected, “Encrypt iPhone backup”, and that is where the password is set.Fortunately for me, I tend to use complex, but memorable passwords, and so I was able to recall it from my memory.]

I forgot my iCloud ID & reset my iPhone. Now I can't access my phone. Any solutions?

Go to apple.com preferably from a laptop/desktop/tabletClick on Forgot my password and enter the email id which you used to initially create your Apple IDNow go to manage my Apple ID and  voila you've just entered your settings. Now go to iCloud.com and enter the username/email and your password. From here on you can manage your contacts, etc.You should be sure of the answers to your security questions in case you have to reset your password. If all else fails it's better to contact the Apple Call centre at your location and discuss the avenues that might enable you to get back in. Perhaps if you have your iPhone's IMEI code, they might just have some information. This is not an official advice as these are only my views; I may be wrong.

What is a polite way to request an update on a project?

There are some great answers already, but let me take a new angle on this. Why use email in this particular case? Email is notorious for leading to misinterpretations simply because it is hard to formulate something in writing that has no room for alternative interpretations. Was that ironic? Did I detect a certain edge in the writing? Is he/she angry at me, but trying not to show it?Unless there are practical reasons requring the use of email (e.g. not being co-located with the person in question) I would recommend a different approach. Stopping by the person's office/cubicle or bringing up the question when running into the person at the coffee machine would be a much better approach. Talking to someone in person means that there will be an actual interaction that allows you to see, first-hand, how the other person reacts. We humans are great at reading body language and facial expressions. Inserting a smile, a gesture, or a joke at the right time can make all the difference and clear the air.Of course, we all have persons that we do not go along very well with, and in such cases, email may well be the best way after all (jokes and smiles do not work well with persons we can't stand; they won't come across as being natural). In cases such as these, I personally use a lot of smileys to take the edge off things. Unprofessional? No, just very effective! :) I also make sure to always show a positive attitude and give praise at all possible opportunities. That way, when it's time to give some constructive criticism, everyone is much more receptive. They know I appreciate their work and that I mean them well.Good luck!

Data Recovery: I've lost all my contacts on my iPhone, however they are all there in iCloud. How can I get them back onto my iPhone?

Your iPhone data can be restored from iCloud when setting up a new device, or after erasing all data from a device using Settings -> General -> Reset -> Erase All Content and Settings. You will be prompted by Setup Assistant by a new iPhone to set up as a new phone or restore from backup.Make sure your iPhone is connected to Wi-Fi and plugged into the charger.Select the option Restore From iCloud Backup.Enter your iCloud account and password.Choose the recent backup you wish to restore to your iPhone.Enter any passwords required when prompted. You will see a progress bar with time remaining as iCloud restores your data. When this is complete, iCloud will begin to download apps. You will see a progress bar under apps that are being downloaded. If you need a specific app first, tap its icon to move it ahead in the queue. To check if the restore is finished, navigate to Settings -> iCloud -> Storage & Backup. How to Retrieve Files from iCloud

IPhone keeps asking me repeatedly for my Apple ID to be verified with a password, how can I fix this issue?

Essentially, all of these answers say the same thing, so I am going to sumarize.Make sure all applications you have are not in the process of being updated, but are all fully updatedUnder your Settings application, go through the App Store, iTunes Store, and iCloud accounts, and reenter the passwords to each one that prompts you. If they do not, sign out of your Apple ID in every one of the afformentioned settings, and sign back in (you could just do thise anyways, even if they do prompt you to enter in the passwords).Check for iOS updates. Typically that can resolve the issue.Restart your device. If nothing else works, hard reboot (holding down the power and home button) until the device shuts off. The latter should only be done once in a while, as it is not the best for the phone to hard reboot, but if need be, you can do it to fix an issue only every so often.By this point, you have pretty much exausted your options. If you want to try and sign out of your two App Store and iTunes Store apps, then enter into the applications and scroll all the way down until you reach the button (virtual button) that has your email in it. Tap that, and when prompted, press sign out. The virtual button then should say sign in, after which you tap it again, and reenter your Apple ID and password. You can repeat this same exact set of steps in the iTunes Store app just like in the AppStore. After this, I would recommend looking onto forums and contacting Apple, because I had the same issue and got it to go away, so if these methods do not work, I would recommend looking for more answers, as being behind a computer screen, people on this website can only help so much without having access to the phone. It takes a lot more effort to diagnose and issue baed off of text rather than handling and messing with the device.Good luck, these should work.
