I’m not quite sure what this question means. Tons of songs have meaningful lyrics but based on different meanings of the word. It can be meaningful to the artist personally, it can be “meaningful” in that it speaks toward some injustice, it can be meaningful in that it’s pondering something philosophical. Once you cross 20, your family will start expecting. The expectations increase exponentially with time. By the time, you turn 25 and still can't support your parents, you're doomed for them. Hard fact but true.Every family silently wants their son/daughter to become an engineer, a doctor, a chartered accountant, a civil servant, and the prime minister. Very few will ask you, what you really wish to do. Every family is competing with every other family.If you’re not earning in at least six figures by the end of 25, you’re not that great to be respected. You would face constant taunts about your education and caliber.Frankly, no one gives a fuck about your emotions, problems or whether you’re alive. People will only care if you’re rich, handsome and mourn for a day when you die.Most companies will only hire you with good salaries and profile if you’re good looking. Frankly speaking, they care the least about your degree. Yes, knowledge is important but you know, they know, a naughty smile works better than a skilled hand.There is a saying that, life for a woman is tough. Believe me, life for a man is 10X tougher than a woman. If you don’t get settled, you have the option to get married and chill. If we don't settle, we won't get married. What "extremely quick marriage proposal" stories can you share? Do you know anyone that proposed on the first day after meeting someone? First week? Did they go through with getting married and are they still together?
I got proposed to on the 2nd date with one guy. We had met at a club where he had gone out to celebrate his birthday with friends. I gave him my number at the end of the night and we talked for a few days before having a first date. I was a bit hesitant at first because he came across a little too strong. I am all for pet names, but they should be reserved for when you're actually together. When a guy starts calling me baby and he doesn't even know my birth date, it just weirds me out. But I decided to give him a shot and see how it went.Our first date was so-so. The conversation wasn't bad at dinner, but it wasn't exciting either. The night ended with him coming over and the two of us playing board games with my roommate and boyfriend. He kept trying to hold my hand and cuddle and kiss me, which again is fine, but not on a first date when I barely know you. He asked me out again and I said yes. The date ended up being a bunch of us going out to eat. Again he was super duper handsy and cuddly at the dinner table. At one point we were talking and he suddenly said he had something to show me. He pulls out a little box and opens it and there is a ring inside. It was very pretty by the way. He tells me that it is an heirloom and belonged to his grandmother and that he wants me to have it. I'm a little confused and I'm just staring at him like he's lost it or must be kidding. He then tells me that he really likes me and thinks we have this amazing connection and that he would be stupid to not marry me. So why wait when he already feels this way? And then he asks me to marry him right there in the restaurant in front of all my friends and other customers. I think it took me almost 10 minutes to respond, and when I did I just said no. Everyone was looking at me like I was a terrible person though because no one knew it was our 2nd date. He got all upset and mad and begged me to reconsider. He said, and I quote, "But I really think I love you and I thought we could go home and make a baby because I know you love kids." This is our 2nd date! Again I told him no, and he got mad and left the restaurant. He texted me the next day saying I broke his heart and he will never be the same. I haven't heard from him again. But needless to say it was the weirdest thing that has ever happened.
