Kaichou Wa Maid Sama Season 2

Kaichou wa Maid-sama! Season 2?

the 1st season never revealed Usui's true identity yet and the fight between Usui and Hinata is just getting fueled up.... the anime also acquired lots of positive feedbacks and high ratings from different anime database and forum sites.... and also the manga is not yet finished.... it's really sad if there won't be another season for the anime adaptation :(

but let's get our hopes up :D

Kaichou wa maid sama season 2?

The wikipedia page says "season 2 is confirmed":
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Maid_Sama!
... but it is unsourced and was just edited in recently by someone not using a regular account. I'd be skeptical; it seems possible it is wishful thinking or a practical joke.

The official site for the series:
http://www.tbs.co.jp/anime/maidsama/
... doesn't say anything prominent about a second season. The most recent announcement in their RSS "news" feed is an announcement of the Blu-Ray and DVD release (of the first season) in May of this year.

Is there a Season 2 of Kaichou wa Maid-Sama?

Kaichou wa maid-sama will not have a second season. Why? Because it did not sell well in Japan. Yes, JAPAN. For a japanese anime, it doesn't matter how popular it is outside japan. It could be popular in the US, Canada, Spain, Philippines, you name it! BUT THE BOTTOM LINE IS, if it sells like crap in Japan, like Maid-sama did, there will be NO second season. Maid-sama averaged 800 copies per volume. That is a MAJOR LOSS.

For an anime to at least not be a loss, it MUST sell 2500-3000 copies. Second seasons are considered only if it has 6000 copies or more.

While international popularity is good, its the japanese popularity which matters the most.

Ironically, most of the time, other than big titles like naruto, stuff which sells in japan doesn't sell well in the US. ^^' Yea weird.

If you really wanna know, you know Naruto and One Piece? You know how popular Naruto is in the US and One Piece is in the sidelines a bit? One Piece sells 2 million copies per volume now while naruto only sells 800,00 copies per volume.

Now, a little word of advice. Next time you like an anime , instead of only watching it for free, buy the ORIGINAL DVD from Japan(yes, its possible you can buy from amazon japan which can be viewed in english) and SUPPORT the author. Spread the word! Considering how popular Maid-sama is here on mangafox, had even a quarter of the maid-sama fans on mangafox bought the DVDS and Blurays. Yea, sad.

Kaichou wa maid-sama season 2?

I think there will most likely be one because well the last episode (26) in the end Hinata said he need to keep competing with Usui and stuff, and well. there are still ALOT of things from the manga that are not in the Anime that is really really good. And if you go to
http://www.gogoanime.com/kaichou-wa-maid-sama-episode-26
there are comments and someone found out there will be a season 2. So lets cross our fingers and prey for SEASON 2!

Kaichou wa maid sama is AWESOME!!!!

Is there going to be second season of "Kaichou Wa Maid-Sama"?

Nope. Nada. Never.I'll give you the reasons. The actual manga by Hiro Fujiwara ran from December, 2005 to September, 2013, in Hakusensha's monthly Shōjo comics LaLa, consisting of 18 volumes and 85 chapters. So, the manga is long finished, in terms of speaking. The only season of the anime ran from April 1 to September 24, 2010, consisting of 26 episodes and 2 speicials. There have been a few animes with a longer gap between two seasons, but in general, 7 years of gap is not common. The “maid-cafe” theme of the anime is only popular among a certain demographic of otakus. It has been accused of being sexist, and also of being a male fantasy, where the scary, strong, smart, self-possessed girl turns out to secretly be subservient to men. So, it's not all that popular among the general otakus except the fans of the series.Ofcourse there could be a fan-made second season ( remember Nekopara Anime OVA Kickstarter project ? ), but it doesn't count as the official release. So, there you go. All the signs point to a direction that says “ no second season” for the anime. But I so badly wish that there could be an actual, official second season, though.Just thinking about watching the wedding scene animated has me excited like crazy, even though I realise it's all for naught. I wish I could experience it all over again.*Sighs deeply*

Why doesn’t Kaichou wa Maid-sama have a second season?

It wasn’t popular in Japan so they decided to discontinue it. A short answer for a short question.

Question about Kaichou wa Maid-sama?

On Kaichou wa maid sama the band members (Kuga Sakurai, Koma Yabu, Yujiro Ono, and Shosei Nikaido ) known as uxmishi,

are the people who do the voices and the people who sing their song the same people?

And is the band members on Kaichou wa Maid Sama actually a real band? If they are a real band what's their band called?

Thanks!! 10pts!?
...
I asked this question before but i forgot to check the category it fell in so it got in the wrong category; how stupid of me haha ^_^

What is the ending of Kaichou Wa Maid-Sama?

Depends on whether you want the ending of the anime or the manga. The anime ends with Misaki confessing to Usui that she likes to hold his hand and that she wants to hold it. Then the kiss. They don't even hook up in the anime. Abiding by the manga, the hook up much later, on christmas. The ending of the manga is typical. Misaki becomes a diplomat. Usui is the Walkers' family doctor and has cured Gerard's sickness. They get married.
