Knotts Halloween Haunt For An 8 Year Old

Is Halloween Horror Nights really scary?

I am only in 6th grade, but I watched video's on youtube and it looks pretty cool. I don't like pop-out things like those stupid emails. I want to go see Bloody Marry, but I don't wanna be paranoid the rest of halloween. Is it really scary to where I will have nightmares and shake and cry?

Southern Cal members: What would a 5 year old enjoy more: Knott's Berry Farm, Disneyland or Universal Studios?

If you could take a five year old to only one, which one wold you pick? My concern is that a lot of the theme parks tend to be oriented toward the 12 - 17 year old bunch.

I think my 5 year old twins would like either of when they are 7 or 8 years old, but a lot of the rides and attractions are not suitable for them at the age of 5.

So help me out... Where do you think a 5 year old would have the most fun on a day trip?

Is it okay to attend a haunted house while 30 weeks pregnant?

that is NOT safe for your child if someone gets scared they could knock into you this is very not safe if you are 30 weeks

Knott's Berry Farm?

I am making a trip in October and have not been there for over 10 years. From what I can see on the website, Boomerang is still there. Did they get rid of the parachutes on the tower with the large "K"? Also, is the Log Ride closing or just down for refurbmishment? I have always loved it and saw a picture recently with no water and tarps in it. I assume the Dinosaur ride through time is gone? I remember the last few times I rode it, no one was ever in line. If anyone knows the answers I am certainly curious to know! Thanks. :)

What is the first horror movie you saw as a child and why was it scary?

I think it might have been the original version of Day of the Triffids. Watched on an old Bush tv sometime in the early 70s. Not strictly a horror film and what with rubber plants as the monster, not very scary. Even for a five year old. Which I was at the time.I’m reminded though of an other occasion a few years later. While travelling with the parents by ferry some years ago (1978), from Ireland to ‘the mainland’. I somehow found myself in the onboard cinema. At the tender age of ten I was watching an 18 cert film called The Legacy. I can remember little about the plot, if there was one. What does stick in my mind are several scenes. One lady drowns when a sheet of glass slides over the top of the swimming pool she’s immersed in, preventing her from escape.Someone else gets immolated in a fire and ends up being fed to dogs.Another character, played by Roger Daltrey I found out subsequently, chokes on a bone and is administered with an emergency tracheotomy. Graphically. What the hell were the staff of that ferry thinking of when they let me in? Not to mention my parents. No wonder I have such a high tolerance for gore to this day.
