My Dad got laid off!!!!!?
First of all assess things. If your dad will not be able to get a new job soon, where will the income be coming from, so this is one thing. The other is, if you continue college, it will also mean expenses for your tuition fees and for your daily needs. At your age, I think your dad's already over aged to get a more stable job. So at this stage, you should think maturely for the family's sake. I know it will be hard at first since you will be adjusting to a lot of things. I know this because it had happened to me before and I had survived. The most important is that the whole family is intact and happy even through these crisis. It's your decision now and you need to share your decisions to them. If however you have adjusted for quite some time, found a nice job, you should find a way to pursue your college schooling even if it only covers a little units to finish. Just be confident and pray a lot, never and never give up because God sees everything that you do and maybe this is just a test of your faith on how well the family can endure. Remember what the saying goes, If God shuts the door to heaven, he will surely open a window. Time runs fast and you will soon realize that everything that happened had a definite reason and purpose of our great creator.Good luck.
Caught Stealing 5$. Sensor Detectors At WALMART went off. I Ran Off, chances of getting caught?
First off I'ma say I Dont believe in stealing from another man. I've been stolen from to many times & I Know what it feels like. But I Dont See the harm in stealing outta stores. & This was my First & last time stealing. So Please I Dont Need no Criticism Long story short I Stole A 5 Dollar Pregnancy test. My Girlfriend is nine days late on her period. I Opened the box & took out the test & Put in my pocket & tried to walk of casually. but not knowing there was still a sensor on the pregnancy test the alarm went off as i was walking out & the older lady who greets people said " sir sir sir" & I just kept walking off like i didnt hear anything. then she said "" ok sir the cameras are watching"" & that kinda scared me so i ran off once i got into the parking lot. nobody chased after then i went home. Q. What are the chances of that Camera catching me ,, ?? & someone how the cops catch up with me I Never ever plan on going back into that walmart. Sadly i do have tattoos that are visibile. & i have a juvenille record & my name is in the system & they have pictures of all my tattoos & all my information. thats what worries me. & Will it be a felony?? & will I loose my Job ,, I Work for Taco Bell. & Will it **** Up My Chance Getting A Carreer in the medical field?? & Before you say it,, I Do Work. A 20guage pump shotgun would be best. Wal-Mart does not sell handguns since all the lefty liberals during the Clinton administration pushed so hard for gun control. Wal-Mart got scared they might get sued. Many Wal-Marts now are not selling any type of firearm at all but some still do. A 18 year old can buy one of those.

You have received plenty of good advice. Explosives or anything that will hurt the thief is not a good idea. Now let me tell you something: I can relate. Instead of going through how bad that idea is and how much will that lead anyone to jail (or court, at least), I will tell you what we did when it happened to us.For a couple of months, the entire block where I live kept getting their packages stolen. This was a systematic stealing that was done immediately after the package was placed on the porch. I know that because one day I was home, heard the carrier knock at the door. The minutes it took me to wash and dry off my hands (I was loading the dishwasher) and walk to the door was all the thief needed to steal my package. Can you believe that!?We all called the cops, but they did absolutely nothing, just suggested we all get security cameras. So, a couple of neighbors got cameras, but we could not afford that at the moment. I also complained at my local post office and got the number of the POSTAL INSPECTOR.You see, the cops may not be very interested in dealing with a random thief, but the Postal Inspector takes his/her job very seriously! (At least that was the case for both enforcement offices in my town). Postal theft is a felony. That may be why local cops may not want to deal with that, because they prefer to pass it to “the feds” (or so we were told by one officer). But the Postal Inspector makes a living dealing with postal theft and fraud. They get federal agents involved and can get results faster because they collaborate with local law enforcement as well.It took a couple of days and then, the Postal Inspector joined forces with the local police officers, interviewed neighbors, USPS carriers (we were lucky that the carrier who serves our area saw the thief stealing and was willing to testify), and in a few days there were videos of the dude, testimonies and we even got evidence. About a week later, the cops stopped by the thief house and sent him to jail -he not only had stolen everybody’s packages for a few months, but also, committed burglary and there was evidence about that, apparently.If you are in the US, call your local post office. Get the Postal Inspector involved (maybe you are lucky to have a good one, like we did). Ask your neighbors if they have had the same situation and if so, ask them to report to both, the police and the postal inspector. Bonus of anyone catches the thief on video or photo!Good luck!

You CAN get rid of bedbugs, although it is an uphill battle, the tiny bloodsuckers got time and patience on their side, they can survive for verrrryyyyy long periods without food(your yummy blood)!You will find it easier to get rid of them if you sleep on beds which are like thisBut, if you have beds like this then you will have difficulties.Follow the below steps if you have bed with legstake empty cans (1 for each leg, I used small empty paint cans) and fill them half with water and a few drops of turpentine oil and put them under each leg, the leg should be in the water, so that bugs which are not already in your bed don’t climb up and oil is there to discourage the ones which dare to swim across the water.Use an insect spray on every nook and corner of the bed to kill whatever bugs are already hiding in the bed, this has to be done several times so that any left out ones gets killed too.Get a roll of shrink wrap and wrap your mattress with several layers, this is to prevent the eggs and baby bugs hiding in mattress to escape. Warning: It would be uncomfortable to sleep on a shrinkwrapped mattress, but less so than getting your blood sucked.Keep an eye on shrink wrap, it may get torn due to you sleeping on it (and doing other fun activities if you are a couple), if you see it getting torn then replace it with new wraps.Make sure your blankets do not fall on the floor while you sleep at night, if your bed is set against a wall then move it away so bugs don’t climb on the bed from the wall.That’s it, you need to wait for a minimum of 6 months, I recommend at least 1 year, keep refilling the cans with water(it will evaporate), refill the oil too, and keep an eye on the bugs, if they are still biting you at night then there is a leakage somewhere, they are either still there hiding in your bed or in the blankets or coming up from some other place, wear the detective gloves and get on the job to plug the hole.If the empty paint cans look ugly under the bed, get creative, wrap up some decorative paper or something like that.This is a cheap fix but doable, I spent nothing less than 10K USD to get rid of the bug infestation, it was all waste till I used the method above.Good Luck!
Got laid off Job A, used up all my unemployment benefits, found Job B, and now i might get laid off. Can i ...?
Can I file for unemployment again? So basically 2 years back i worked at Job A for couple years and got laid off. I exhausted all my unemployment benefits until they stopped sending me checks. I got a new Job (Job B) and worked there for a year and I have a feeling they are going to lay me off very soon. My question is, since i filed for unemployment for JobA 2 years ago and used it all up. Will this affect my status for Job B? Is there a time length on when I can reapply for a 2nd claim. My friend told me the minimum time length is 90 days within any job to file for unemployment. So will i be eligible to receive benefits again. And what happens if I find Job C and get laid off again, can i repeat the process. Or are their restrictions. I am very worried of my future and paying my bills. This is the second time around im getting laid off and i need to reassure myself that I can have some kind of income to pay my bills.

I work for Wal-Mart d.c. 7024, a girl just got fired. Her co-worker calls himself Dan, is working here illegally. FACT he's using a freinds S.S.# & name, we know but it's not OUR problem. On break last week joking around she said, lazy mexican all of us have joked this way, besides there friends. Dan's friends with her husband. 2 days ago she told him 2 watch his back, words R going around, illegalls R working here. Taking it wronge Dan blew up, threating her safety telling her 2 lock her doors. Our boss, myself and co-works all heard it. Boss did nothing! Dan threatend her alot this past week, "she better shut her month" she was taken 2 the office, the other day, Dan turned her in cuz she called him a lazy mexican! the next day she was fired & still gets hate texts, & is afraid. YES wal-mart knows but dan still has a job. Whats CRAZY is her husband & 2 kids R mexican 1/2 the folks in town R, this spread like wildfire around town. Is this DEFAMTION of her name WHAT CAN B DONE?

What should I put in for "reason for leaving" on job applications?
The first thing I would ask is, do you have a reference available from one of your managers or supervisors at Wal-mart, who understands this was a mistake and can confirm that you are a good employee to potential employers? Having a good (verbal) reference is what will 'save' you in this situation. If this currently isn't the case, contact any person who was a superior in this role - explain what happened, and ask if they would be willing to provide verbal references for you during your job hunt. Ideally you would like to have two verbal referee's. You don't need to list a reason for leaving on your resume. As you were there for 2 years, it shouldn't raise to much initial concern. Unless you have had multiple short stints of employment prior. Just include the month and year of the beginning of your employment with Wal-Mat, and the month and year of the end of employment. If you apply for a job and receive a call back or interview, the question will come up. So explain it very briefly, it was a honest mistake - and then pull focus to the fact you have 1 or 2 glowing references from Wal-Mart! Good luck!
