Laptop Graphics Keeps Crashing

How come my laptop keeps crashing with Windows 10? My computer came with it installed but 80 crashes in 30 days.

This is usually either something you installed or some hardware you added. When you say “crash” I assume you mean the blue screen. This will have a message. What does the message say? There are a few things you can try.Uninstall programs that you’ve installed. Try to think of the last thing you installed before the computer started crashing a lot.Diagnose the crash dump file. This is complicated but it will tell you exactly what is causing the crash.Perform a repair install. Go to Download Windows 10 - click Update now, then click Run.

AMD Radeon HD 7690M keeps crashing?

I just recently got a new laptop with the AMD Radeon HD 7690M graphics card. But it seems that when I play some games my graphics card keeps crashing. I've been playing Borderlands, and my cards drivers crash every so often; especially when looting chests. I'm running the game practically on all low settings right now and I would quite like to fix this problem. The weird thing is that I've been running Kingdoms of Amalur practically all on high and it runs fine.
I've also tried to update my drivers and such, but when I go to AMD, my graphics card model isn't found. I know it's pretty much a renamed 6770M so should I don't know if I should try those drivers. I have tried the auto detect program that AMD offers, but it says my product and os cannot be found.
I'm currently running on an i5 and have about 6 gigs of ram.
Thanks

Graphics Driver keeps Breaking?

Firstly i'm not very good with anything to do with computers (or at least the stuff inside them) but it started yesterday I played a game that i've played loads before and it whilst loading it crashed (screen went all blue/green and all squarey old school if you get what i mean and all the writing went big)

it said "iamlmrnt5 display driver" has stopped working and it also mentioned something about a graphics adaptor - but it keeps on doing it all the time now and i just wondered if theres anything I can do to fix this problem?

My AMD driver is clashing with another graphics driver and causing my Windows 10 to crash. What do I do?

First uninstall the other graphics Driver and then check by rebooting your computer if the Windows 10 crashing problem still persists if not then you are good to go.If still not fixed then go to your bios settings and in the advanced tab select video configuration and then select the default graphics Driver in this case it's AMD. Reboot. How do you go to be BiOS settings¿Start your computer and once you see the motherboard information either continuously press the F2 key or Delete key depending on your motherboard settings, pressing these keys between one second interval.

How to crash my laptop before warranty runs out?

OBJECTIVE:
- I want to crash, **** it up before my warranty runs out. The duration is ending relatively soon and I wish to ruin my laptop in such a way where my warranty will not be voided.

- Gain a brand new computer/laptop

-
-
-
-
-
WHY?

- My laptop model is a Gateway ID79C. A discontinued model from gateway.

- I have hopes to upgrade to a desktop tower and make use of my idle TV in my room.

- because I am an honest, hard working Joe that lives by on what ever I can get my hands on.

- I love this laptop very much but find it impractical for it is too big to be even a laptop ( har, har laugh it up, I made a pun, hehe =] )

- the model is a few years old and I [will be thankfully] scammed into the 3 year warranty program, [with your help of course.]

So any ideas, possible methods, or sure-proof methods on wrecking my laptop so I can replace it with a lesser/equal value electronical hardware?

I was thinking of overclocking my graphics card and running high requirement games of some sort, but the guys whom will be investigating on my laptop when is turned in might figure it out. So what ever you guys throw at me will help me out.

thanks your time and efforts is very much appreciated, even if its a blank answer ( not so much appreciated >=[ )

Why does my laptop keep crashing or freezing up every time I watch videos and movies?

Depending on the age of your laptop, the graphics card might not be able to handle the type of video format that you might be watching. RAM has to do with the speed of your laptop also. If you do not have enought RAM to be able to handle the video quality coming through your computer, it might have issues too. Also, viruses make your computer lag and act weird. You might need to update your antivirus to look for things wrong with your computer. I find that Bitdefender is really good. There are many factors that can make your computer act abnormally when you're watching videos. But these are the ones that come to mind.

Why do I keep getting the crash error "AppHangB1" when I try to play Civilization 5 on my pc?

hi necroman.
when civ v was first released, there was loads of problems. so have you all the updates/patches installed? if you installed through steam, then it should do this automatically.

have you tried running it in directx9? and not 11

have you got the latest directx9 http://www.softwarepatch.com/windows/dir...
also the latest graphics chip driver?

apphangb1 is a graphics card fault, this means your graphics driver froze. Now that Windows relies on the GPU more it tries to restart the drivers if they're taking too long. If this happens enough times the system will kill the offending application.

it would help if you gave us the spec of your laptop, as as a rule laptops are bad for gaming.

if it barely passes the test then the game still might run slowly.

this is also just a guide. you must check the recommended requirements against your pc
passing the minimum needed is just for the game to load.

The Sims 2 Double Deluxe keeps crashing. Why?

The problem might be ........ you have a laptop and laptops just don't have graphics cards. If you have a computer other than a laptop, use it and it might help. Also it crashes a LOT when you create a family or you have a HUGE house. Here are some tips for you. The first one is made medium lots or smaller. The smaller the better. When you create a family make a sim really fast. It does not matter how it looks or whats its name is. Only make one sim. When you put the sim in the house that you want, write boolprop testingcheatsenabled true when you open up the window when you press shift control C. Click shift and click on the sim. Click spawn and click tombstone of L D. Then click on the stone and click on what sims you want like an adult male. Keep doing that until you find the one you like. Then if you want to get rid of the rest of the sims, shift click them and click kill then die by flies. When it freezes up click the button on your keyboard that has four squares with wavy lines. When you click on that right click on close. If that does not show up, click ctrl alt delete and click start task manager. When a screen pops up,scroll down to sims 2 and click on it. Then click end process. That way you don't have to shut down your computer.

Hope this helped!
