Late Eruption Of Lower Front Tooth

Gum comes down far between my front two teeth?

an orthodontic could set you up with a cosmetic surgeon (or you could go to a surgeon directly)

depending on what healthcare insurance you're on you might not have to pay for it. I'm a Canadian and had my bottom jaw surgically broken and moved back because i had a bad under-bite and i didn't pay a cent.

Can a tooth grow at the age of 26?

A tooth can erupt at the age of 26 years but cannot grow. There’s difference between eruption and growth. The teeth once formed normal or with anomaly in size, shape, or chemical structure, stays same life long.Thereafter the teeth erupt into mouth as per their respective chronology. The abnormal teeth may need in due course of time for form & function restoration.

What age do teeth stop growing?

I'm 16 and my two front bottom teeth aren't the same size even tho their the same tooth. my parents spent 10,000$ 4 me 2 get braces twice. but I didn't wear my retainer either time so their SLIGHTLY crooked. u can barely tell that they are. I was wondering since im only 16 will the smaller one ever grow to be the size of the bigger one or will they just stay uneven forever. :/

My Invisalign trays aren't gripping on my two top front teeth - can my dentist make the buttons bigger?

I'm on upper and lower trays #12. 23 upper trays, 20 lower trays. My two top front teeth started having an issue since tray #10 and #11 or so. The trays weren't pulling those two teeth down enough out of the gum (they're being pushed forward at a slanted angle, while also being pulled down out of the gum forward). So we were giving it 4 weeks between trays by extending my wearing of each set, and he gave me these "straws" (cut up pieces of the suction tube that they use when doing cleanings and such) to bite down on and cause the Invisalign tray to lock back onto the button. These two top front teeth have been the trouble spot in that area. I'm having even more trouble down. When I bite down on the straws they gave me, my teeth fit all the way perfectly into the tray - but won't stay locked on the button. I already have considerably large Invisalign buttons (at least compared to the little ones on the side) on these two top front teeth with the trouble. Are there "thicker" buttons that will stick out further from the tooth, so that these trays could lock onto the button better? The trays just fall back down immediately within a few minutes...it's not enough to pull the teeth out like they need to be. I can't possibly go around every 10 minutes biting on straws at work to reset my trays onto the buttons.

Secondly...if there are larger buttons...how would my dentist get these currently solid buttons off from my teeth? I've read that at the end of the treatment, the dentist grinds the buttons off from the teeth. What about halfway through if they need to be changed?

How long after babies get their bottom two teeth is it normal for the top two come in?

Lower central incisors are the first primary teeth to erupt at 6-10 months. Upper central incisors follow at 8-12 months. Take a look at eruption chart of primary teeth bellow. If your baby is 1 year old, and the upper incisors did not erupt yet, you should consult your dentist. It is advised to visit your dentist when your baby’s teeth start erupting. Your dentist will give you very good information on how to handle pain, and diagnose any issue that might not be visible for the parents.(Source: http://www.ada.org/2930.aspx)

Is it normal to grow new teeth at the age of 20?

it is perfectly normal since it is a wisdom tooth.but it is advised to have a routine examination with a dentist followed by an x-ray to make sure it isnt impacted within the bone or under the adjacent tooth.

When does a baby’s first tooth come in?

It varies widely. My baby brother had his first tooth at 2 weeks old, and I have heard of babies being born with a tooth, usually the bottom front tooth. The order baby teeth come in is not constant either. My middle son got his top eye-teeth (canines) first, and looked like a baby vampire!(source: A Baby Vampire' by i-Shots on DeviantArt )Here’s the official answer:Teething can begin as early as 4 months of age, but most babies don't get their first tooth until 6 months. Teeth usually come in pairs. The bottom front two teeth typically show up first, followed by the top ones (both sets are called central incisors). If a tooth hasn't come in by 1 year, there's probably still no reason to worry if your child is growing fine otherwise -- he may just be a late bloomer.Baby Teeth: Frequently Asked Questions
