Lately My Body Has Been Feeling Heavy

Lately my stomach has been feeling full and heavy, anyone know why?

See your health care provider as soon as possible (gastroenterologist), for consultation. Anything that inflames the stomach lining can spark gastritis, a sometimes sharp but often dull, gnawing upper abdominal pain that can be accompanied by belching, bloating, and nausea. Heartburn may cause similar symptoms, but that pain typically is a burning sensation in the center of the chest, behind the breastbone. The three most common causes of stomach-lining inflammation are:

Increased secretion of stomach acid, stimulated by coffee, tea, alcohol, or cigarettes.

Direct irritation by a food such as hot peppers or by a medication, particularly a nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory drug (NSAID) such as aspirin, ibuprofen (Advil), or naproxen (Aleve).

You may be able to pacify the pain by avoiding those provoking substances and taking non prescription heartburn drugs such as famotidine (Pepcid AC) or ranitidine (Zantac 75). If those measures fail, your doctor may prescribe a more potent acid-reducer such as lansoprazole (Prevacid) or omeprazole (Prilosec).

If you eat too much or overindulge in a particular food, you can get stomach cramps. Food needs time and room to digest properly. Overindulgence often causes indigestion and hyper acidity. Your stomach and intestines will need to work harder to digest excess food, which then causes stomach cramps.
Stomach cramps may also be caused by overindulgence in alcoholic beverages.

I hope this helps you. And good luck.

Lately my head has been feeling funny/weird?

oh my gosh your exactly like me! i'm a 19 yr old female and i swear i have been having the same problem. my doctor told me it was a type of vertigo which actually has to do with your inner ear. it started with me getting a weird feeling in my head and then i would get a panic attack and major anxiety over it because i had no idea what the heck it wasbut it actually got worse after awhile and i started becoming really dizzy in the mornings too when i woke up. of course me being a nervous wreck already i would freak out. you probably have nothing to worry about so don't panic :) my doctor prescribed me medicine for it, a type of antihistamine (like benadryl) you'll be fine. i thought i was the only one with this haha feel better!

if you have any other questions about it feel free to e-mail me :)

I have been feeling weak and tired lately. What can it be?

I have been feeling very tired for the past 2 weeks. I think it might be related to my weight loss but I'm not sure. I used to be 185 pounds but decided to lose weight in December 2008. I started eating better, started counting the calories, I only drank water, and I started playing Dance Dance Revolution every other day. It worked and I am now 119 calories. I am a 22 year old guy and I'm 5'8. Sometimes I wouldn't eat a lot of calories though. I would eat around 1100 - 1500 calories a day. When I ate over 1500 I felt really guilty and would play DDR for more minutes.

I reached my goal and have been struggling to maintain this weight. I don't want to gain or lose weight. I feel very good about myself. I am now eating 1300 calories a day and I am planning on increasing 100 calories every week until I reach 1700 or until I find a number that won't make me gain weight.

Two weeks ago I started feeling very tired the entire day and have been having problems with food. I crave so much food and think too much about what I'll eat that day or the next day. I do have problems sleeping but I've had this problem for years! Sometimes I try to sleep and I'll just be in bed for an hour or two trying to sleep. I have a baby sister and she weighs around 25 pounds now and I can't carry her for more than 5 minutes because I feel so tired. I also started walking more because my car hasn't been working, so now I walk about 2 hours a day. I used to walk before and didn't get tired. What can it be?

Why have i been feeling weak lately?

Headaches are caused by tight neck muscles. The muscles go to the top of your head where they connect to muscles going around your head. When the neck muscles get tight they pull the head muscles into pain and that's your headache. When your neck muscles are tight they can press into the muscles to restrict the blood leaving the head so less blood enters to result in a lowered oxygen level in the brain. There are three stages of lowered oxygen levels in the brain and they are; feeling very tired; getting dizzy or light headed; and passing out. Tight back muscles can also press onto the nerves going to your arms to cause the problems in your hands. To get rid of these problems you have to free up your neck muscles to release the tight muscles and here's how to free them up:
Neck Release:
Place your hands behind your head touching your fingers. Press into the back of your neck with them and hold the pressure on them. After 45 seconds slowly lower your head until your neck is fully extended. Release the pressure but hold your head there for another 30 seconds.
For best results relax your body first by taking a deep breath and exhaling then remain this relaxed.

Body feels differnet lately HELP!!!?

Appendix are on the right side, so it would be unlikely to be that, but given what else you have mentioned are you sure you don't have a tubal pregnancy? I think you need to get immediate medical attention as something like that can be life threatening if it continues.
Look at the symptoms mentioned here, esp the pain, dizziness and even the possiblity of the pain reaching your shoulder, etc.

Definition of Tubal pregnancy

Tubal pregnancy: A pregnancy that is not in the usual place within the uterus but is located in the Fallopian tube. Tubal pregnancies are due to the inability of the fertilized egg to make its way through the Fallopian tube into the uterus.

Most tubal pregnancies occur in women 35 to 44 years of age. Tubal pregnancies are the most common type of extrauterine or ectopic pregnancy, accounting for the large majority (95%) of all extrauterine pregnancies.

Risk factors predisposing to tubal pregnancies include:

Pelvic inflammatory disease (PID) which can damage the tube's functioning or leave it partly or completely blocked;
Surgery on a Fallopian tube;
Surgery in the neighborhood of the Fallopian tube which can leave adhesions (bands of tissue that bind together surfaces);
A prior tubal pregnancy;
A history of repeated induced abortions;
A history of infertility problems or medications to stimulate ovulation; and
An abnormality in the shape of the Fallopian tube, as with a congenital malformation (a birth defect).
A major concern with a tubal pregnancy, as with any ectopic pregnancy, is internal bleeding. If there is any doubt, seek medical attention promptly.

Pain is usually the first symptom of a tubal pregnancy. The pain, often one-sided, may be in the pelvis, abdomen or even in the shoulder or neck (due to blood from a ruptured tubal pregnancy building up under the diaphragm and the pain being "referred" up to the shoulder or neck). The pain is usually sharp and stabbing. Weakness, dizziness or lightheadedness, and a sense of passing out upon standing can represent serious internal bleeding, requiring immediate medical attention.

Lately my breathing feels laborious, do you have any ideass what could be causing that? should i be worried?

So basically i feel like its harder to breathe than usual, almost like someone is sitting on my chest, its not really too bothersome, but i'm worried about it
Here's some info about me that might help:
I've been diagnosed with hyperthyroidism that i assumed went away on its own because i never got treated for it
I've been working out a lot more than usual lately (mainly tread mill and situps- and also shoveling;)

I have never been diagnosed with asthma or any other respiratory problem thus far

Why do I feel like my soul is leaving my body when walking?

It could be that you’re ungrounded.There are lots of things to do to help ground yourself. This means to more fully embody your physical being.A couple simple things that might be helpful: make sure you drink enough good, clean water, and cut out as much refined sugar and artificial sweeteners as possible from your diet. Also, eat fresh food and cut out the processed stuff.You’ll get the best results by making a conscious effort to fully embody. Before you go to sleep and when you wake up, really feel inside of yourself, move or stretch what you feel - go through your body from the bottom up - and stay aware of your body movements, your muscles, your senses throughout the day. Your body is your means of guidance through life - the more deeply you embody it, the more you’ll be able to see of what lies before you.Also, spend time in nature if you can - especially by water and trees.Lastly, learn and develop some good meditation techniques that can take you out of yourself and then bring you back again in a controlled manner. This will be the most helpful, I think, in keeping you from walking around in two worlds at once.All the best!

I have been eating way more food (mostly protein) lately, but my fat seems to be going down and my abs are more visible? Why?

If you are an elite athlete (as indicated in the comments section of the original question) 2500 calories is not necessarily a lot, depending upon the amount of muscle mass you carry and your overall weight.  Muscle takes a lot of protein just to maintain itself.  Sounds like you changed your routine somewhat about 2 months ago, so a change in your body fat percentage could make perfect sense.  You didn't indicate your sport, weight, height, training style/type, or what your diet consisted of before, so it is still very difficult to be very helpful, but for many sports, being young and in "tip top shape" would reduce your body fat almost automatically.

Anxiety cheeks feel heavy?

You can overcome your anxiety. Please see your doctor and get into therapy. If you understand why it happens, and your trigger points, you can control it. Good luck to you

Lately whenever I have one alcoholic beverage my face feels hot and becomes red. Is this a symptom of anything?

There are age related changes in alcohol metabolism.  The flush reaction increases with age - it indicates a higher risk of susceptibility to some diseases."Thus, if you or your patient have facial flushing, the risk of hypertension can increase even if you drink less than those who do not have facial flushing," said Cho. "[Under these circumstances, I would] recommend limiting your or their drinking amount even more to prevent the development of hypertension."Individuals who flush after drinking at higher risk of hypertensionAlcohol flush reaction
