Learn How To Become A Reliable Leader By Utilizing These Tips

Cabin crew interview coming up soon for easy jet, any tips?

after being successful in gaining a position with emirates cabin crew...heres a few pointers and things that they look 4 in a crew member ...!

1. Dont be bossy, dont try and be a leader, they are looking for team MEMBERS not managers, alot of girls in my group interviews tried to position themselves as leaders and got cut from the selection.

2. They will give you group exercises, remember Customer Service is the KEY they look for so always make sure that your answers are logical, yet customer focused.

3. In your group exersises, try to have a useful input into the discussions, dont be to overbearing and loud. Make comments and praise/discuss other peoples comment to show the recruiters that u are listening. Always make eye contact with who u are speaking to, and when listening.

4. Make sure u dress accordingly. Wear a Pant or Skirt suit! very important. keep your hair tied back, and shoes to the boringest black closed in pair that u have....

5. Be yourself, they always weed out the people who are fake, and plus - if you lie in the interview- u mite end up with a job that isnt right for you!

Good luck! let me know how it goes!

I'm an introvert taking on a leadership role. How can I become more inspiring to others?

Introverts in a leadership role, can make themselves more inspiring to others by exhibiting quiet confidence in decision-making and taking time to listen and speak with colleagues one-on-one. People generally do not care how much you know until they know how much you care. Introvert leaders who show genuine interest and consideration in the lives of their colleagues will be far more influential than charismatic leaders who often come across as confident but self-absorbed.Introverted leaders can also gain more respect if they come across as those who get things done rather than those who just talk about getting things done. Be sure to write down everything you commit to and follow through on it and you will gain a reputation of being trustworthy and reliable.Introverts can also inspire others by remaining quiet and calm in the face of stress and conflict. There is much to be said for those who are willing to listen and remain quiet and thoughtful before giving a decision or response in a volatile situation. You will appear more wise and rational if you listen before speaking, you will also calm situations down if you are able to speak in a quiet and respectful tone. Never underestimate the power of gentleness and humility as an antidote to anger and hostility, it is like pouring water on a fire. For more ideas on how you can become more inspiring as an introverted leader, I would suggest that you read Steve Williams’ “Leadership” as this book explains many more great leadership qualities and the best ways to utilize them. I hope this has helped in some way and I wish you the best of luck!

I'm having problems house training my Great Pyrenees. Please Help?

Puppy pads are useless! They encourage a dog to eliminate indoors; no wonder he's so confused. Hitting him and holding his nose close to his urine/feces will not help either; it'll frighten him and cause more confusion. Clean all his accident areas with enzymatic cleaner, because he will use them again if he can tell he's eliminated there before. Take him out every 2-3 hours and shortly after he eats/drinks. Praise him and give him a treat when he eliminates outdoors and use a term that he can learn, such as "outside", "potty", etc. If you catch him trying to eliminate indoors, clap your hands to distract him, and get him outside ASAP. Again, praise him when he eliminates outdoors. Slowly introduce him to a crate (feed him in it, give him treats when crating for a short period of time, etc.) so he associates it with positive things, and crate him whenever you cannot supervise him (only short periods of time).

Also, do not expect a 10 week old to be consistently housetrained, or be able to hold it through the night; he's very young. All you can do right now is introduce him to housetraining, take him out often on a schedule, and get rid of those pads and the whole concept of eliminating on a little white sheet indoors. Never hit him or hold his nose near his messes again.

Is it really so hard to learn Arabic?

It is hard. I speak Arabic because it is my native language. But I do not read and write it, which is another challenge in itself. I came to the US when I was 7. So that was the time when I would have started reading and writing it. There are quite a few different dialects. And for all those dialects there is a formal Arabic spoken in the media, by politicians, clergymen etc. It is the same dialect in the Koran. Which is a very formal type of Arabic. Since I grew up speaking the "street" language in the dialect of my parents homeland, the formal Arabic is difficult for me to understand.

Not only that, there are lots of letters and sounds that do not exist in the English language. Most Arabic speakers who have been speaking it since birth develop a different set of muscles or facial features to accommodate some of the sounds in our language. Its a cultural thing throughout many languages.

However, like any language it is learn-able. Be patient. Do not give up. May I suggest you study abroad? I learned how to speak English through total immersion. My sister went to Spain for a year and is is now fluent in Spanish. So she has three languages under her belt. So I know you can do it. Do not be discouraged. Learn as much as you can. And yes it is a hard language to learn, but I can assure you like anything else in life, it will be a great accomplishment for you.

Good Luck!

Teen summer service trip: Rustic Pathways or Global Leadership Adventures?

hahaha... my mom and i were wondering the same thing - and looking at the same organizations. after she called them and read their stuff she summarized it like this - rustic is like a teen tour with some community service included, gla is mainly a community service / social issues program with some touring on the weekends. i guess you could tell this by looking at the photos in both web sites.
