Lebanon Do You Think The Syrian Election Thingy Is Acceptable

Why is it wrong for Russia to interfere in the US elections, but acceptable for the USA to illegally interfere in Syria, and undermine the sovereignty of Syria by trying to usurp Assad?

What sovereignty? The Assad government lost control in 2012, the people and military were in revolt all over the country, the regional security organization Arab League recognized the opposition as the legitimate government, many Syrian embassies went over to the opposition, and the UN did not only because of a veto by Russia. This was a Russian-supported faction, not a legitimate and sovereign government. With years of Russian and Iranian aid and total disorganization of the opposition, the Assad government has bloodily conquered and controlled more of Syria, but it is one warring faction, not the recognized government of the whole country. The internationally agreed solution since 2012 has been a conference of all parties for a compromise settlement and constitution. Pending that, the international community divided theaters in the anti-Assad war. US support of SDF is with explicit support of Russia and the rest of the international community, and SDF has been on good terms with Assad and Russia.US policy since 2014 has been a near-total surrender to Russia, with only token protests in western Syria, and Russian-approved aid in eastern Syria.

In your opinion, what is the future of Lebanon?

Yesterday I lost my car. It simply went to garage for some maintenance; nobody stole Baron. So today, I was forced to use public transportation to reach my work place. It's been a while since I took a bus. I remember the unbearable smoke (main reason that obliged me to buy a car), loud people, and waists full of guns...A 40 year old man stepped into the micro-bus and sat in front of me. With a predictable hand maneuver, he lit up a cigarette, and the gray skull smiled on the passengers. "Here we go" I thought. Before I could take any action, one girl told him "Sir please throw out the nasty thing out of the window." He did, and we continued our trip, happily ever after.Let's consider another situation. We were on the brink of regional total war. It could have been a bloodbath. But still Lebanon planned to live. Multi-million construction sites were active (think of Mega shopping centers). Tech geeks were looking forward for some reasonable technological investments. Personally, I did not even think of building a warehouse to stock some goods. Instead, we have bought an apartment and brought our Grandma all the way back from Ukraine, to this "unstable" country.Perhaps, Lebanese lost hope for a better Lebanon at one point in time, as I lost Baron, but the loss is temporary; we will get the best back. I hope very soon.

Why hasn't there been a census conducted in Lebanon since 1932?

In Lebanon we have the capacity to perform a census very easily, give you all the info needed including the religious denomination of each person. This particular information is problematic since it sheds the light on proportions of Christians vs Muslims. Given that the parliament is 50% christian and 50% muslim, a census that shows disequilibrium in these numbers will create further problems in a country where there is no concensus. Also, a decision needs to be made to decide whether to include the diaspora in the world which is made of many millions more than the people that live in Lebanon. Therefore the question of census is purely political.

What do Turks think of Syrian refugees?

It depends which Turks you're asking about:-Turkish government:Using them as a card in negotiations of joining EU.Using them to try to control the Syrian crisis and raise funds for "armed rebels".Turkish Islamists:They help Arab Syrian Muslims out of religious duty.Turkish Kurds:They help Syrian Kurds out of brotherhood.Turkish Nationalists(Grey Wolves):They hate Syrians, and to be honest they hate every non-Turkish and especially Kurds&Arabs.Turkish Liberals:They sympathize and help out of human causes.General:Some has good life in Turkey and some suffers.

Regarding the Arab-Israeli conflict, what concessions does each side expect of the other?

If occurred to me a long time ago that Islam on the Temple Mount was just a "foot in the door" for NWO Babylonianism. In other words the coming seven year "peace" deal is probably going to involve sharing the Temple Mount.
The division of Jerusalem is not however going to lead to peace but rather to the Battle of Armageddon.
Remember a lot of the clowns involved in building the NWO worship a 40 ft tall owl in the Bohemian Grove in California. (Losers and their loser of a "peace" deal.)

Which country is Better, LEBANON or TURKEY?

My best friend Maya is lebanese and so I notice a lot of times that our culture and traditions are almost the same. Like they take of their shoes like Turks. They have words that are Turkish. But still.. I don't think any of them are bette than each other because how can you REALLY know if you haven't lived there. I think the only people that can say which one is better is if they are either half Lebenese and half Turkish or someone who has lived in both countries... thats just my opinion.

food- I think Turkish is better just because when I go to my lebenese friends house her mom puts too many spices in it .. I never tell her tho.

place- I like Turkey because in Lebanon they don't have a beautiful view of the bosphorus when you look out the window

Tourism- definately Turkey because we are more rich in history than Lebanon. Ottoman Empire-all I need to say. And plus all the English and Russians come over here to the beach.

country--that doesn't make sense

culture- I think it goes to both of them because both cultures are almost the same

religion- Same religion... so both of them. I don't know if you are asking who is more into their religion but I beleive both of them are.

Why are western countries forced to let in Syrian refugees while rich Arabic states, who have more in common to these refugees, turning a blind eye on them?

They(we) are not forced. They let them in as its a humanitarian crisis. Germany took in Romanian refugees, Ukranian, serbian refugees etc and all the western countries are taking a minimum of 10k to 100k asylum seekers every year. Since you are Indian, they may take you in too if your country is under civil war. Turkey took in 4 million, Lebenon took in 1.7 million, Jordon took in 2 million and all the neighboring Arab and North African countries did their part. The Syrian refugee crysis made headlines because of the US elections in 2015–16. Just like the central american caravan before the 2018 US midterms. You know, the scary brown people are coming in and most of the US want to be a white majority country. Good thing is that ISIS is obliterated and when the source is not healthy, they cant provide assistance to bomb and terrorize western countries.

Why are Lebanese people too proud of their country?

As Random Guy pointed out, Lebanon has had years of war , inept government & economic hardship & if you can't see through all that & appreciate the culture , history , hospitality & all of those great qualities that are there if you only open your eyes , you are missing out !

I also live in a country that has a much more comfortable lifestyle yet I absolutely adore Lebanon ...I choose to overlook a lot of the deficiencies that make life more difficult because of my love for the country & its people.

That is my personal choice that I make out of respect for my late mother's homeland , her family & the many Lebanese people I call friends.
