Left Ear On Headphones Not Working

New JVC HA-SR185-J Headphones not working.?

The left ear doesn't play at all, but the right one does. It's weird though because the right one doesn't just play what the right side would normally play, it plays a really low quality, muted, static-y version of what it would play. It's really weird. Can't really hear the vocals, usually just the rhythm guitar. The only time it doesn't do this is when I hold down the button thing that is on the cord (hence why I gave the specific model). Need help, guys.

The left ear of my Sol republic shadow ear phones not working. How do I fix it?

Almost certainly you can’t fix it yourself - most likely it is the cable. These headphones have a 1-year warranty, and quite likely you won’t need proof of date of purchase if you contact the company and request an in-warranty replacement. They should give you an RMA number and address where to send broken ones, and once received they’ll send replacement. And, if it’s been longer than 1 year since you bought them, more likely than not they’ll replace them for free anyway, or give a deep discount. Headphone manufacturers know that customers can switch to another brand very easily, and they bend over backwards for customer loyalty. The name of the game is “stickiness” - getting current customers to stay with the brand for multiple purchases.

My left headphone isn't working?

Assuming you have a set of "stereo" headphones. You have 3 wires basically that connect your ear pieces to the stereo. One is a common to both, then one wire goes to the right, and another wire to the left.
If its only the one ear piece that isn't working, then there's something wrong with the wire leading to it.
It could be detached from a soldering point, or broken.

My headphones are not working?

I got these headphones called sol republic it was 99$ I had the foxlike a month and today I used them but the right side was working so I thought I did not plug in the wire that good to the left ear but I did I took it out put it back in I blowed on it I tried a lot but nothing so I was like it's okay I'll just listen with the right ear so I was listing until I had to go watch a movie but after I came back I put my headphones and then the right ear wasn't working so I tried doing the same thing I did to the left ear but nothing so I tried moving the cord a little but I have to leave the cord in a certain place to make the right one work but it's to hard I tried moving the cord for the left ear but that one didn't work so if you have any conclusion please let me know. Thanks :)

I left my in-ear headphones in overnight...?

Yes, it will go away, what you're experiencing is called a "temporary threshold shift".
If you were to listen to them for a week then they would cause permanent damage. Not in one night. Permanent damage could be also be caused by one loud noise impulse, like an explosion.

You will be fine soon, in sometime between 16 - 48 hours. If the cans were too loud you would've woken up.
Don't use headphones anyway, they're pretty bad for the ears. Regardless of what people tell you, they're harmful regardless of whether or not they are used at high decibel levels.

Why does only one earbud in a pair of headphones stop working?

Try using the earbuds on different devices, different music etc. It could be as simple as what you are listening to has been recorded in Mono (just the left ear bud will work), your device has has “mono” selected in the Stereo/Mono drop down selector.Alternatively it could be that you’ve been winding and storing those buds a pretty repetitious way and with only a small number of copper leads transmitting the signal metal fatigue will occur and the copper wire will break - if so bummer. Breakages can occur any time, at any point and that’s just another bummer. The diaphragm in the earbud is tiny and also easily broken - you guessed it - bummer. For most cheap - mid range earbuds, it’s just a case of getting a new set (after checking out paragraph 01.).Well, best of British to you.

I have so many earphones with only one earphone working. How can I reuse/repair them?

Regarding this problem.I had similar problem. I bought this new headphone of JBL and within a week the left side stopped workingAnd it happened after my roommate plugged it in her mobile. So I packed it up and kept it asideOne day I tried playing and both side were working fineBut after a min it tripped againA friend told me once not to exchange earphones cause it damages the one sideAnd that fact is true… Maybe that's the case with JBL cause I used my sis earphone in my phone.. And after she plugged in hers.. The left side stopped workingToday I tried my headphone in my laptop.. Same case as beforeBut I thought of plugging it in Mike jack and to my surprise I heard some glitch in left side. After plugging it in headphone Jack.. Tada!!Both side were working and in mid it did tripI applied the same step.. Now it's working completely fineWhat did I learn?!Not to exchange your precious headphones with someone else!!Try this step maybe it will help ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

Left side of wireless Beats headphones don't work when bluetooth is activated, only right side plays audio.?

I have a pair of Beats headphones and the audio works perfectly fine when I use the cable, but when I use the bluetooth functionality. The right side will play sound while the left side does not.
I have tried resetting it and it still doesn't work.
This is a new pair, and I took it out of the box charged it until the green light activated, but the left side still doesn't work.

Does anyone know how I can fix this?
