Make all drugs legal for the sake of saftey?
This may be too difficult of a sociologacal concept for some people, but just give it a try..... Gang wars and prison overcrowding among other social downfalls can be attributed to drug activity. We all know that prisons do not rehabilitate and send criminals back out into the streets often worse then they arrived. Prison overcrowding and our lack of reintegrating them into society would dwindle if drugs were not illegal. Furthermore, there would be nothing for gangs to fight over. After all, gang wars are about drug dealing territory. They could not have a business if drugs were legal! The netherlands have little laws regarding drugs and they have one of the lowest drug abuse rates in the world. Most of the people in the "coffee shops" are Americans!! What is your opinion? Would you support giving drug legalization a try to see if it curbs gang war activity, drug abuse rates, and prison overcrowding?

A2A. I've done this a lot, the last time when I drove from Atlanta to Indiana overnight, so either I have a knack for it and know something, or I'll be useless. Let's assume the former.Caffeine and Guarana are both available OTC, and they work.I'm used to getting up when it is light and going to bed when it's dark. If I'm awake for a long time and it goes from dark to light, it weirds out my brain and makes me want to sleep. If I can get through dawn, I'm fine.I listen to conservative talk radio. It irritates me enough that I stay awake.When I do get sleepy, I have a large meal with a lot of coffee. I think the meal provides a time release effect to the coffee.If I'm up too long, I have the opposite problem. I find it hard to go to sleep. When I do, though, I'm practically comatose.

A good dose of adrenaline, dopamine, and seratonin that your body makes naturally when you excercise AND get good sleep will give you a good amount of energy. the war on drugs is a joke and the joke is on the american taxpayer. the government allows illegal search and seizure without probable cause. they will convict someone that has no standing in the matter. they promulgate the drug trade. if they really wanted to win the war on drugs they would. they have the power and resources and the best technology available to them. education is the best tool to fight the war on drugs and i am not talking about when the cops go to the schools and have the children snitch on their parents. now the family unit is dysfunctional. they have us right where they want us. they abuse and use our children instead of really educating them about drugs. that leaves our children being the next victims on their so called war on drugs. what most don't understand is that if you get a felony drug conviction you are not allowed to get an education or a decent job. you are set up to fail, so most have to resort to drug dealing to survive finacially which one doesn't allow them to better themselves or their lives and make an honest living. instead they learn how to be better criminals after they have been to prison. so there is no war on drugs it's all revenue and they could give a crap who's lives they ruin for greed. it's criminal. its all about power and control. by saying war on drugs makes the citizens think that they are doing something about drugs in this country when all they are really doing is keeping the drug trade alive and kicking. it's very profitable to them as it destroys families and lives and creates new drug addicts and more money. the whole farce makes me sick and i have no respect for a government that criminalizes the people instead of protecting them and educating them to make this country the best country to be in. freedom is just another word for nothing left to lose. my education is a nurse.

Do you mean legally or illegally? There’s plenty of narcotics that can achieve this (especially if you have been diagnosed with a focus disorder). I’m not going to volunteer any suggestions as this would be contributing to a very negative and useless approach to a specific problem (you can seek out your own demise at your own peril).However, if you think you have a real problem that requires real pharmaceutical intervention, then I suggest you see a psychiatrist and get both a diagnosis and a legal prescription for the medication you seek. ADHD is a classic example of a diagnosis that elicits a medicinal solution. Notably, Adderall and/or amphetamines which with both exacerbate and magnify focus issues quickly and effectively.
My mom is a drug addict and criminal.?
It's true that jail is a revolving door for many criminals. They just go in and out all the time, and the justice system just does what it can. Sometimes these criminals are in and out of jail before the cops can even finish writing up the report. They really don't know what to do with hardcore drug addicts since they have no real place for them to go and many either refuse and don't want to stop using drugs. It's just becomes a vicious circle of doing crimes to get money to pay for the drugs and trips to jail only to be released on time served since the jails don't have enough space or money to keep all these people in them, and there is not enough rehabs anywhere to give people help even when they really want to stop doing drugs. I agree with you whole heartedly. What can you do about it? Nothing much my dear. You can scream from the rooftops whatever you want about your mom and until she does a much worse crime than she has been and getting caught at it to where she will do real time, you are stuck with what you got in life which isn't much. She should never have been allowed to raise any children at all, but it is what it is. You are getting older now and your mom is really toxic to your life. I think you are definitely on the right track to making your own life a much better happier stable one. Please just focus on you and reaching your goals and forget about your mom. You can cut ties with her soon as you are 18 and should do so. Go to college and focus on yourself. In order for them to prosecute her for anything, they would need good solid evidence and even then it might not be more than a slap on the wrist if convicted. You will learn all about that if you become an attorney. Using drugs and even DUI's is not considered much of a crime in many cities. I saw this one guy who had like 16 DUI's and never spent more than 2 days in a jail. Then he finally killed someone while driving drunk which did finally put him away. Then everyone want to know why he was still out on the street. That's a good question for the judges who gave him a pass after the first one. I wish you the best and hope you do make a much better life for yourself than you mother ever gave you. You certainly deserve it and you can do it if you really work hard and stay focused.
