Letter From Nsw To Qld

Is the letter 'Q' really very important? Can't it be done without?

According to me Q is important. Though many say that Q can not stand alone in English words other than in some names such as Qatar. Many also want Z to be removed and replaced with S. In India we are writing in that way. We write analyse instead of analyze. But how can Q be replaced with another alphabet? Q is not a silent alphabet. How do we write Queen? Kueen, I suppose. as we can write Quality as Kwality.I am not in support of this.

Why do some Australian radio stations use triple letters as their name (e.g. Triple J, Triple M, Triple R)?

The letters are generally the radio station’s official government assigned “call sign”. Just like radio hams have “call signs”, broadcast radio stations use these to identify themselves and tie them to their broadcasting licence. In the USA radio stations have to broadcast their official call-sign every hour, in Australia that’s not the case.AM stations in Aus use a number (for their state: 2 for NSW, 3 for Vic, 4 for QLD and so on) and two letters. FM stations use the same numbers and three letters. These are not used on air as a rule though. For instance, 92.5 GoldFM on the Gold Coast has the official call sign 4GLD… in the same city the station known as “Hot Tomato” has the official call-sign 4HTB. Nova in Sydney has 2SYD as its call-sign.Stations like TripleJ and TripleM have simply used their call-sign as their on-air brand. However, the TripleM brand has now been extended out to all of the older targeted radio stations under the Southern Cross Austereo umbrella on a national basis as a branded sales tool. So, in short, the letters are simply a method of identification.

Why do I have to pay a fine for using the letter Q in my letter in Turkey?

I have now randomly found a video proving that Kurdish is not illegal as a friend of mine has the habit to listen to news intros. Here we go, Xeber Zazaki. Zazaki is a form of Kurdish, if I am not mistaken, right? And Xeber includes ‘X’, another one of those kind of letters the OP mentioned in the comments.——————————————————I highly doubt that your story is true, but @Uri Granta has pointed out that there was a barely ever utilised law that has been repealed like half a decade ago. Let's still assume the validity to answer, though. As an IT guy, I have to assume the given values are valid, so I will assume that you have received a fine for using the letter Q in a letter you have sent to someone. By the definition of the term ‘letter’, I also assume a letter in a closed envelope which you have sent to your friend through a post office. This way, I also have to assume, that the officer has captured your mail, opened the envelope and checked the content of your letter as he could not determine the existense of the letter Q otherwise. Thenafter, I assume that you have received a fine stating the reason and this reason will most likely include the paragraph to the law that applies. Now if all those assumptions are valid, I think you could just read the fine you claim to have received as the answer to your question is right there. If you see that the given reasons are invalid as it would not apply to the given situation, just get an advice from a lawyer.Edit:After exchanging a few words in the comments under Yalin's answer, I had to experience that the OP seems to be supporting seperatism and terrorism in sovereign nations. Also by looking at similar questions that seem to have been asked to solely give the message of a cruelity by the Turkish officers and this being a standard there, I am assuming that none of the claims are valid. Also, the request of Michael to send pics of the fine or a link to the claim that a Turkish bouncer in Germany would have had an M16 rifle and shot a person of Kurdish origin while the person solely wanted to enter the disco, has been ignored. Not to mention that I as a person who lives in Germany can’t think of any bouncer carrying a rifle in this nation. This is not Chicago, to begin with.Additionally, I beg for your pardon if this sounds offensive, but I see Quora as a place for questions, answers and opinions, not for propoganda and fake news.

How many forever stamps would I need to send a letter to Australia?

The cost of mailing up to one ounce to Australia is $1.15. If you use 3 forever stamps you will be paying too much ($1.50) but two would not be enough ($1.00). If you use a ‘global’ forever stamp, you only need one, as the value of it is $1.15. The global forever stamp currently looks like a succulent (cactus if you will). Previously, it was an image of the moon, different images of the earth, and at Christmas time a few years back it was a Christmas wreath. All of these stamps are round in shape. A single one of those stamps would pay the freight to Australia, or any foreign country for that matter.

Wasn't Aussie Rules invented to keep Cricket Players fit in the offseason, from Gaelic Football?

So how can a game that was originally intended as nothing more than a training exercise for Cricketers and actually began life as a form of Gaelic or Irish skirmish even be classed as a true sport?

In Rugby League we often used a hybrid form af aussie rules/gridiron as a form of a light hearted warm down , following traing.....thats basically how it started, nothing more than a training aid for other sportsmen? More fun for most than running laps, but among true Footballers, could never really be taken seriously, especially with such a poor Internation record against minows Ireland, true? So was it really just a training aid for other sports?

Australian state abbreviations?

Yes leaving out the state or postcode does delay postage. Postcode 2000 is the the postcode for Sydney, not NSW.

Edit..Well for Kingsgrove you would still write NSW then the Kingsgrove postcode

Australia Post uses advanced letter sorting technology to read the address on each envelope electronically. These machines work best when address formats are structured in a consistent manner

Driving restrictions for people with Narcolepsy NSW, Australia?

I have just recently been diagnosed with narcolepsy without cataplexy. I have a pretty good handle on it and can feel when I'm going to fall asleep well in advance so I take more medication, go for a walk, just do something to try and freshen myself up again. I take dexamphetamines and carry a doctors letter with me in case I get pulled over. Everyone I have spoken to has given me completely different answers as to firstly, do I even need to tell the RTA I have narcolepsy? Do I need to advise them I take dexamphetamines? Will there be any restrictions on my licence? As this is a neurological disorder, am I entitled to disability parking? I can't get any straight answers and hoping someone can help me PLEASE!

In NSW, Australia, what does the HP sign on a telegraph pole mean?

What can a landlord do if a tenant refuses to leave after an eviction notice?

That depends on what you mean by “eviction notice.”An eviction notice is issued by a court after a legal process in which the landlord has been awarded possession of the premises. The eviction process is handled by a court and, if necessary, by local law enforcement pursuant to a court order. If the tenant refuses to leave after the eviction notice has been served then he or she will be forcibly removed from the premises. There is nothing the landlord needs to do.A landlord cannot issue an eviction notice because only a court has the power to evict someone from their home. But a landlord can issue a “termination notice” or a “notice to vacate” or similar notices to the tenant pursuant to the terms of the lease. If such notices have been properly issued and served, and the tenant refuses to leave, then the landlord must file a dispossession action in the local civil court which, after due process, will result in the court issuing an “eviction notice” as described above.

How long does it take the mail to get somewhere?

Within the city, typically overnight. To nearby cities, typically two days. Across the country, three days.Express mail is faster.Parcel post is slower.International mail is usually in the other country in a week at the most, but then the local postal service takes over and the US Postal Service has no control.I’ve seen people get two day service to England; that is certainly not what will happen all the time.
