Libs Money Cannot Create Talent That Does Not Already Exist Within You So Why Keep Giving Money

Why do billionaires need all that money? Is it greed?

So, there's one aspect to this that I haven't seen anyone mention, and that is this: Billionaires are almost never liquid billionaires. People like Zuckerberg, Gates, Buffett, Ellison - their net worth is in the billions, but the vast majority of that wealth is usually in the form of stock in the companies they built. They're not hanging around swimming in their money bins, and because their wealth is mostly in intangible stock, they really don't even have the option of not being richer. If their companies are successful, the value of their stock will grow. And if they were to attempt to divest themselves of that stock rapidly, it would almost certainly be disastrous - potentially fatally so - for their companies and shareholders. So, no, billionaires are for the most part not hoarding anything. Their net worths are a somewhat arbitrary reflection of the perceived value of their companies, and they’re not able to either get rid of their stock or turn it into cash even if they want to. That's why they tend to start charitable foundations rather than donating enormous wads of cash.I should note that there are a few people out there whose money is mostly in cash, and who might qualify for OP’s ire, but since their money is, by definition, private, and is almost always hereditary, it's pretty hard to figure out the details. In short, the vast majority of billionaires aren't cash billionaires, and usually aren't able to prevent themselves from being labeled as wealthy or extract all their cash except by effectively destroying their businesses (which would violate tons of laws with respect to other shareholders). Their ‘money’ is a reflection of the perceived value of businesses they own, not anything more or less.

If socialism is so great, why do people run away from socialist countries?

Apparently, people don't like being enslaved by idiots.

Unless you've been reading Cult Deprogrammers, you are unlikely to get anywhere with this, unfortunately.

You forgot East Germany, and that nasty wall with buckshot and razors.

It's funny what is and is not "REAL communism" or "REAL socialism" according to modern pinkos on the internet. Apparently all those movers and shakers in history, all those thinkers too, just needed to live long enough to read on the internet that they were something else. I've always thought that if X country wasn't really socialism/communism(depends on the angle, the discussion, etc.), then there is no so thing. "TRU COMMUNIZM!" does not exist. Ever. Not in the present, not in the future. All the people labeling themselves as such are liars and are not true whatevers either. If it hasn't already existed in the past, it does not have any members/believers and it never well. None of them are true socialist-flavor-of-the-moment. They're all liars, every one. I'm pretty sure Lenin is more socialist/communist than internet denizens. He is, THEY aren't. Of course these are the same people who covered for the USSR in the New York Times, etc.

And we all know people ran away from Cuba and the Union of Soviet SOCIALIST Republics because FOX news told them too!!!!

Questions for creationists...?

Furthermore, DNA gets used for more than making proteins. Much DNA is transcribed directly to functional RNA. Other DNA acts to regulate genetic processes. The physical properties of the DNA and RNA, not any arbitrary meanings, determine how they act.

An essential property of language is that any word can refer to any object. That is not true in genetics. The genetic code which maps codons to proteins could be changed, but doing so would change the meaning of all sequences that code for proteins, and it could not create arbitrary new meanings for all DNA sequences. Genetics is not true language.

The word frequencies of all natural languages follow a power law (Zipf's Law). DNA does not follow this pattern (Tsonis et al. 1997).

Why do conservative talk radio shows all succeed...?

Because it's easy to defend and talk about policies that make sense.

It's very hard to simply badmouth Republicans all day and offer no intellect at all.

I've tried listening to Air America, but after about five minutes I start feeling sorry for them and have to turn it off.
