Libs Why Has The Northeast Part Of America Been Hit With So Much Global Warming Lately

When foreigners criticize the U.S., do you think they're secretly envious?

I don't mix with foreigners and don't have much reason to care what they think about us, but common sense tells me you’re right. Let me explain.I assume foreigners mostly think like we do and extrapolate their subconscious from yours. Thus, based on my observation that a significant portion of our fellow Americans these days loves to criticize North Korea, Iran, and China while so obviously sporting a massive boner for authoritarian rule, religious dogmatism, and state-supported ersatz capitalism, it would stand to reason that foreigners criticize what they really, really would like to have. Envious little weasels.Examples:Anyone would envy our unique historical atavism: the racism, the homophobia, the sexism, the distrust of science, the fear of the Communist International. Then there's our trillion plus military budget. I bet they're jealous of all the useless pork-barrel that gets packed in there. Heck, foreigners don't get to spend hundreds of billions on programs their own armed forces have expressly indicated were either useless, overpriced, or both. They’re so envious, some of them couldn’t resist getting on that F-35 gravy train instead of what their own flyboys wanted. That should tell you something. Finally, you know our foreign policy is the best, because it gets criticized the most. Foreigners are simply envious of how we just up and invade a sovereign state here and there every few years, drone the heck out of fools living in places we couldn’t find on Google Maps even if we knew their names, and generally act as the biggest, baddest, destabilizing, nuclear-armed rogue state in the world. As you can see, my dear MAGA troll, foreigners are clearly envious as sin of the awesomeness that is the 21st century US of A.

What American social values do people find disconcerting, even offensive?

A far more minor issue than those already mentioned, as well as being of mixed opinion (akin to marmite, some love it and some hate it), one American social value that I (a British person) find disconcerting and even occasionally offensive is the seeming superficiality that many Americans adopt as part of their culture.Notably, for an example, I volunteered in a cafe at one stage upon which the band Wheatus visited on the way to doing a gig elsewhere. They were amazing people, by all means, but I couldn't stand the Americanized sort-of hospitality that they brought with them - "You're doing a perfect job!", "This is the best cafe we've ever been to!", "You are all amazing people!".Here in the UK, we don't use superlatives very often. For me, myself, the excessive use of superlatives is both overwhelming, and comes across as incredibly fake - albeit, as I say, this is a mixed issue: Some people adore the excessive amounts of praise being lavished upon them for being undeniably average or substandard - but I am not one of those people. It's almost like a reverse customer service thing - I know I'm not great, and I know I'm not the best. Heck, in many ways, you're lucky that I didn't trip and spill the coffee over you - I'm a very clumsy person. Yet, you speak to me as if I was a king, and try to make me feel more valued than I should be. I should be flattered, but I'm not - because I can tell you'll say the same to the next cafe you visit, and the following, and so on. Here in the UK, the greatest compliment we normally give is "Yeah, it was alright".

Is there anything you agree on with Donald trump?

Considering that I didn’t vote for him. I didn’t like his brashness, he was uncouth, lacked all the prim and polish that a president in pay has had. That being said I despised HRC, she’s arguably one of the most corrupt people in the beltway and the Clintons have been for decades.I didn’t even vote in the 2016 election as I was being told by every media outlet that HRC was going to win with 97.74737484838% certainty so why bother? On election night, I watched as I’ve done every four years since 1980.And right before my eyes I watched the false facade of the media lie fall apart and one state at a time I watch as Donald J. Trump become the 45th president of the United States. I did precisely ZERO research as I believed he had no chance of beating the Clinton dynasty. So I went to his site. I actually liked his policy of ditching the ACA as it was not affordable and was a giant fustercluck from day one.I liked his “America First” stance as well…we (as well as every other nation) should put our interests first. That doesn’t mean that other nations can’t do the same. In fact Trump supports other nations doing what is best for THEIR interests. Trump is a negotiator. He admires and respects dealing from and with positions of power like any succcessful businessman.I now paid attention to all the noise being sprayed about Trump. How he was called a racist, never heard him say anything racist. What I did see was the media manipulating what he said. For example, the “grab em by the *****” comment wasn’t how the media portrayed it. They spun it.If you read the entire transcription of it, he talks of how he attempts to kiss women but he gets denied which means they say no, and he backs off. I thought that was a good thing. Then the next part he’s describing that there are SOME women that “let you” do things if you’re wealthy. To pretend that there aren’t women out there that in some instances throw themselves at rich and powerful men, then you’re delusional. The racist comments, weren’t. Again more spin. And notice how his entire career he was never called a racist and spent considerable time with the likes of Jesse Jackson and recieved awards from the Ellis island Medal of Honor formerly known as National Ethnic Coalition of Organizations. Can’t really win that if you’re a racist that hates immigrants. Never once did Trump say he hates immigrants, quite the contrary. He loves immigrants. Just wants them to come here legally.
