Life Is Not Fair Essay

Is life fair? Why / why not?

Pertaining to my own life, I could sit around and say this or that was unfair. I could waste a lot of time wa waing about all the negative points in my lifetime. What good would that do? Is life fair? I guess life can seem unfair at times, but if we look around , open our eyes to what some people are going through in this lifetime, we could see ourselves as rather blessed. I have suffered through quite a bit of pain in this life, emotinally and physically speaking. Some of my own wrong decisions, some by the hands of others. I feel that life is an ongoing lesson. As a person I feel I am under constant construction and will be until the end of my lifetime. I take it day by day. That is all I can do. I am a christian person. I believe in the Lord Jesus Christ and all that he stands for. I feel he is always near me, that he holds me in the palm of his hand and also guides me. I have to be open to this. I have to keep the faith. I feel an intimate connection with him. It took me a long time to feel this connection. I did everything in my power for many years to walk away from him. I was given choices. I was given free will. There are a lot of things in life that I don't understand, but I know that since getting to know Jesus, my life has changed dramatically. Is life unfair? It can seem that way at times, but take some time and look around. How unfair has it really been to you? Look to the blessings in your life. It will seem so much LESS unfair when you realize just how blessed you really are. Do you have a full belly? A warm home to live in? Clothes on your back? OR are you out on the street wondering where you may sleep tonight that will be safe and comfortable. Are you panhandling or eating out of a dumpster. Staying in a shelter, whether it be to have a place to live or to be safe from some abuse you have experienced? Just my opinion.

Why is life not fair?

Its been years since I graduated from college...I didn't go to a top university because I could not afford it, but I did go to pretty decent state school...and I can assure you that if you follow your passion, you will succeed regardless of your SAT scores. YOU are much more talented than that test can ever show. If you can afford it, why not write a darn great essay to send into the university of your choice and explain why they need you on their campus, regardless of your SAT score. Many colleges are seeking diversity in talent on their campus, tell them why you shine!

Life isnt fair???

well, this is a PART of essay i wrote about my life..

"My Broken Life"

My broken life can’t be fixed in one click. The wounds in my heart and soul can’t easily be healed… I am still thinking how to conquer everything in order to be alive in order to stand still and pass all the hurt… And face the world with dignity and pride.

The darkest part of me is inside my heart and soul. It always comes when I’m all alone. It’s pushing me to my own death… Gladly I am surviving for those thoughts and stand stronger on my own ground of existence.

my life is has its own test..

our life wont change in one click but we need to work on it.. make effort to do it.. most of the strong peoples (not literally) work hard to get what they want.. and sometimes ended with nothing..

if u want life to be fair.. treat peoples fair.. do fair things.. do right things.. a one change in ur heart will be a big change in the world.. because other peoples will follow u..

pass all these test of life.. work hard.. do right things.. and step by step life will be fair.. good..

There is a misconception about life that is totally unrelated to life itself. As all living beings— from a bacteria to a tree, from an ant to a human being—life is a self-sustained chemical system that is capable of evolution, from birth to death. What is not fair is the way human beings seized control over all forms of life in our planet and as we evolved as a species we destroyed much around us, including our own. It is not life that is unfair—human beings are!Left to themselves other species will thrive, fulfilling their birth-death circle in harmonious ways. But humans are different, they establish values and goals and try to bring meaning into their existence by producing goods, accumulating wealth, segregating others that do not fit into what they have determined to be worthwhile. For that reason, humans are not unbiased. They provoke wars, destroy the environment, bring famine about in every corner of the world. They cultivate prejudices, racism, intolerance and arrogance in relation to different ethnicities, religions, and customs.Humans have not yet learned to appreciate life. We have built tools that helped us improve health, provide food and shelter, reach the outer space. Yet we haven’t learned to be fair among us.

Actually life taught me the opposite. You will not succeed in life if you accept that life is not fair.  Even if life is unfair to you, you must persist in order to succeed.  You can't give up, especially if the universe has it in for you. You have to fight against unfairness. But let's take a step back and examine the phrase "life is unfair" for a moment.  The phrase is self-contradictory.  The word "life" in the phrase is all inclusive.  It means life for everyone.  Life in general.  Then when you use the word unfair, you are speaking of an imbalance.  So, when you say "life is unfair" you are saying life is equally unfair to everyone.  That's a contradiction.I learned that in reality life is one of three things:UnfairFairBetter than fairdepending on who you are.  Depending on your circumstances.  Depending on your birth.  Depending on your skills and talent.  Depending on your genetics.  But most of all, depending on that 4 letter word: luck.As one of the unfortunate unlucky people, I learned that there is nothing you can do about your position.  The only alternative is to lie down and wait for death to take you, or run to death yourself.  But that's not exactly a solution, is it?The thing you must realize is that just because you have been unlucky in the past doesn't mean you will be unlucky in the future.  The one thing we can count on as far as luck is concerned: luck is unpredictable.  So you have hope if you are only optimistic.  Plus an optimistic attitude is helpful for you if life is fair.  Shoot.  It's even helpful if life continues to be unfair.Stay positive, no matter what happens. In fact, when you stay positive when things go awry, people notice.  And that optimistic attitude will be helpful in the future. And I learned one very important thing in a particularly inspirational youtube video a couple of days ago: the more often you try, the more you increase the odds that you might get lucky.Your biggest weapon against misfortune is persistence.  If you have the raw determination to succeed, you will overwhelm poor odds with greater numbers.  You can hit the jackpot if you keep trying.   Anyone can win the lottery if they buy enough tickets.  So keep trying and you will succeed.

Because of this property of the universe name “Entropy”. As a student of engineering I have always been fascinated by the second law of thermodynamics which in lay man’s term states that everything in the universe tries to move from a state of order to a state of disorder. This is the reason why our headphone wires get tangled, our desks get messy, our rooms become dirty and we grow old.The universe is a very tough place to live in. We survive on a gas, which is in fact toxic to living cells. The gas is oxygen! Yes it may sound weird but it is true, oxygen is toxic, but our bodies have found a way to overcome the effects of its toxicity by producing anti-oxidants. If you leave a piece of apple exposed to the atmosphere, it slowly turns brown, that is the effect of oxidation.Life is the most fascinating “thing” to have emerged on Earth and as of now has faced countless mass extinction events. Still it has always bounced back.Life turns disorder to order which is just the opposite of all the other activities that take place in the universe and for this reason it has to spend so much energy and battle the extremities surrounding it. The food we eat contains molecules which are used to create new life. Isn’t this thing fascinating. Now coming to the human part - “Why life seems unfair?”.Life is unbiased, it consists of events and opportunities. Something that seems unfair to you may seem fair to someone else. It’s about survival of the fittest. If you cannot adapt to your surroundings then you will perish. And I would really like to know what unfair things are happening in your life?I hope you are not living in the worn torn areas of middle east or Africa?orStaying in any harsh environment somewhere in Rajasthan?orStaying in an area that doesn’t respect the idea of democracy?orhave not got access to proper education?ordon’t have access to internet?ornot getting proper meals in a day?If events like a breakup or unemployment makes you feel that life is unfair then I am sorry to say that you haven’t experienced life yet. Everybody has their own personal battles. People who fight are the winners, people who don’t are the losers. So what do you want to do with your life? Ask yourself. If you need any help. Contact me. My friend mom died of cancer at age 34, he was just 11 years old then. Soon his father also left, he was 17 years old then. He was brave, never cried in front of me although I knew he was sad. He has a small brother so after school he started working at a call centre to earn a living, he also joined a b.com course in a govt. College where teachers hardly come just because he wanted to earn a degree and that was the cheapest option available. I told him many times I could help him but never once he took my help. He wanted to be a doctor but he could not afford to become one. Now look at me. I am blessed to have my parents, I get hot home cooked from my mother everyday. I get to buy new clothes through my father's salary. I have two sisters but I don't have to be burdened with responsibility because my mom and dad are there to take care of them till I establish my career. I am an engineer now, my dad paid my college fees which was in lakhs. They call me daily to know about my health. I ignore their call sometimes because I am "too busy" playing games or roaming around with friends.I wanted to become a pilot, an actor, an artist and what not. And yes I can afford to become any of that still. You think life is fair? The only thing this life teaches us that we should cherish everyone who care about us and never ever ignore them. Life is really hard for some people only we don't realize it until we wear their shoes.
