Listen To Sounds Remotely With Itouch

How do I silence my car's remote lock/unlock sound?

You need to press the lock and unlock buttons on your remote at the same time, the fog lights will flash as an indication. Now your car is in silent mode. It works the same way to put it back in general mode. This works for most of the cars ,check this on yours.

How do you turn off an iPhone remotely?

There’s no way a user can force an iPhone to power off remotely.Apple, the manufacturer, knows the code for powering off the phone, but that is considered a breach of privacy to allow anyone else to use that bit of code. It’s far too easy for people to abuse that sort of code. So it’s highly protected by Apple. While you may have the best intentions, you cannot guarantee that other people would be so honorable.Using iCloud will only allow you to put the phone in lost mode, iCloud activation lock, which erases the phone completely, or make it play a sound.iCloud doesn’t support powering the phone off.Best wishes

How do I listen to the tv at the gym?

At my YMCA there are tbs at te front of the workout room with things on them that will say "tune headset to like 67.63 fm" or whatever to listen to that show, bu how do I do this? I've looked for places to plug in my headphones on treadmills and bikes but I can't find it. I have an iPod touch, do I have to use like a radio or something?

Why can I hear the sound of electricity?

Thats interesting. There are stories of individuals who have heard radio broadcasts in the absence of an actual radio. It is possible to make a crude radio set using an appropriate crystal. In the old days they used to call them ”crystal sets”.When I was young I bought an electronics set, it was very basic but I was able to make a simple radio and listen to local radio stations, This thing didn't even need a battery, if you were close enough to the transmitter.Individuals who can hear radio broadcasts (in the absence of a radio) are somehow able to “pick up” these electromagnetic transmissions. It doesn't happen often but apprently if you have a filling made of the right material that is cracked so that there is a gap of a certain size then you have something similar to a crystal set inside your tooth and embedded in your jaw. Apparently in the right circumstances you can hear the broadcast of a nearby radio transmitter but it's very rare. Now when electricity is flowing it creates electromagnetic or radio waves that perhaps because of a damaged filling (for example) or some other unusual anomaly, that you are able to hear.Mechanisms of this nature tend to be “tuned” to a particular frequency and perhaps yours is tuned to pick up the frequency of mains electricity which is about 60 hertz. As for me I can feel electricity. That is to say when ever my phone is charging or IPad, when I touch the device my fingers start tingling. I can literally feel the electricity. It is not imagined it is very real and there is a logical explanation for it. Think of it as a gift or if that's not how you feel then go to the dentist and get your fillings checked out. Good luck

Radio on ipod touch without wifi?

The simple answer is no- you can't. At least that's my view!

In order to listen to radio, you have to have something on the device you are using, which can receive the signals in some form, whether this is picking up internet radio stations using wi-fi or receiving regular signals from a regular radio station etc.

radio works by transmitting electro magnetic waves through space which are detected and transformed into sound by a receiver. Without the wi-fi connection, your ipod touch can't do this.

However..... it is possible to buy accessories for ipods which mean you WOULD be able to listen to regular radio.

This link shows tells you about an apple fm receiver/remote control and two alternative products:

http://www.geckoandfly.com/2008/12/20/alternative-apple-ipod-radio-remote-fm-radio-receiver-transmitter/

I've tried to make that simple - sorry if it's not.

without one of the sort of devices on that link, the simplest answer as far as I'm concerned is - no.

Masturbation: Is it okay to touch yourself when you hear your parents have sex?

People  who share a home sometimes hear each other having sex. It's basically  impossible to avoid that unless you happen to live in a exceedingly  sound-proof kind of house - in fact it's fairly common to even hear the  neighbours having sex; even if they're NOT being particularly loud about it.With  a natural and healthy view of sex, this is a triviality. And it's in my  opinion unreasonable to ask parents not to have ordinary sex  when there are children in the house, for a majority of parents this  translates to "always", or close enough. (We've had children in the  house for more than 99% of all nights during the last decade)So I think it's natural and common that you'll sometimes hear your parents having sex. There are strong cultural (and perhaps biological) taboos on incest, and anything that is even remotely close to it, though and there's some reasonably good reasons for that. But on the other hand what's in your head when you masturbate is really nobody elses business at all, and I don't think you're a horrible person for having socially unacceptable masturbation-habits.Assuming this is just one of several things that sometimes turns you on, I'm not convinced it's such a huge problem. But on the other hand if this was the only or even the primary thing that did, then I think that'd be potentially unhealthy and you'd be better adviced to direct your sexual energy elsewhere.

Audio Equipment: Is the loud popping sound when you plug/unplug your speakers bad for them?

Most speaker cones are driven from a power amplifier.. The pop - like you said -  is a transient spike. But the important thing here is that it gets amplified up through the pre-amp and into the power amp.. Speakers usually move in the ol' in-out fashion with respect the the voltage at the input.. and a big spike could loosen the cone from its suspension mechanism.. The higher the power and the more delicate the cone - the more the danger to the speakers ( what is normal for a woofer cone, could end blowing up a tweeter cone) . For e.g. In live events, where high output PA speakers are used, this is a very serious issue - because such a spike could throw the speaker cone out of its place, and it wouldn't work from that point on. For this reason, some high end audio equipment have a limiter at the output, that prevents signal from exceeding a certain predefined limit. So any occuring transients would never hit the cone at a level that is unhealthy to them. Most home audio equipment tends to operate at lower levels. That being said, there is still some damage inflicted on the speakers - just maybe not of the same magnitude.. especially the smaller ones.If your system has a remote control, it might be wise to hit a mute button just before you change to another input... or maybe find a way to turn off just the speakers (if separately powered) before you interchange the connection.Hope this wasn't too star warsy :)

Is Ihome a good brand for ipod touch speaker?

Well iHome will be good for it because it's made especially for ipod. I liked the iphone but I decided to go with the Sony Speaker Dock / Clock Radio for iphone / ipod. It works fantastic with my ipod touch! I can crank place my ipod touch into the dock and charge it. It comes with a little mini remote that controls the ipod music or the radio. The alarm clock can be set to play a song when it goes off. It works fantastic!
