Llb Law With Business V Llb Law

What does a law degree consist of?

the a-levels i'm taking are: maths. english language, psychology and critical thinking, with an AS in physics and english literature

I'm also thinking of maybe doing a history and law degree combined?

Would you say i was suited for it?

What to study -Business and management or Law?

Soon I'll have to choose what to study and I am having a struggle to choose between busines and management or law. I am excellent at history (I have it on higher level as it's not a problem for me to learn it, I think I have kind of a good memory especially for dates) and I'm rather good at other subjects. I want to have a job, I mean... I don't want to end up unemployed. I don't care abou "the slight chance of getting a millionare if somehow I'll manage to climb after all degrees of a career", I'd like to have a stable job with good salary, but it does not have to be outstanding. I live in UK, planning to study and live in London, wanna earn 4000+ pounds per month. Would you advise me what should I study? I'd be grateful

Did anyone here get a 2.2 in LLB Law recently?

I've been looking at all these training contracts and they ALL say they require at least minium 2.1 in Law or non law degrees. Im doing a BA Law and Philosophy degree. Im soon going to enter my third year and when i graduate i plan on doing the GDL exception course to take the remaining law modules.

I've been looking at the firms to apply to as i was advised to start now and literally 90% say they require a 2.1. Its not impossible for me to achieve it but i did terrible in my first semester. This semester I feel as though my exams went very well. But i really need to get 2.1s in my final year to have the slightest chance of entering Law.

So for anyone that actually got a 2.2 in Law... what are you going to do next?

What is thw difference between the law degree LLB and the law degree BA? Do the both equate?

The LLB is the degree to do if you want to become a Solicitor or Barrister. The length of the LLB in England is 3 years. You then do the LPC (Legal Practice Course) which is 1 year full time.

Some people who chose to do the BA Law, may choose to do so because they can mix it with other subjects and do a joint honours such as law and politics or want to study law but alongside something else - maybe the main interest could be business, so having law would be helpful but not necessary. Some people think the LLB is harder than the BA, some think the LLB is only for people who are going to become Solicitors or Barristers. But the key fact is that if you do a BA in law, you will have to do an extra year called the conversion course.

Could you please tell me what these mean? BA (Hons) MA (Hons) LLB (Hons) and BCs (Hons)?

could you please tell me what these mean?
thanks

Indian lawyer with BA-LLB from NLS India and JD from tier 1 law school US can get a well paid job?

can a student with BA-LLB from National Law School India (tier 1 law school) after doing JD from US tier 1 law school can get a well paid job in USA and Canada?

please be FAIR, i have seen a lot of people here who say their is no job AT ALL!!! in the USA because they don't want people from outside come and take jobs and create problem for people inside US. please understand guys, if a lawyer comes to USA and study JD and practice in a firm their, he is occupying one job but their is a 80% chance that he might open up a firm someday in USA and end up creating a number of jobs for people in the states, so don't demoralize them. Everyone should get a fair chance to build up their future. NO OFFENSE , but we must all keep this in mind that almost all Americans in USA except native Americans migrated to US from Europe, Asia and rest of the world and made that piece of land a SUPER POWER. similarly Indians who are in India are also descendants of people who came to India in the Past 1000 years like Afghans, Arab, Europeans etc. so please tell me the real story and not something made up to freak me out!

What's the difference between B.B.A LLB and B.A LLB? Which one is better?

Differences - Both the courses are closely similar with little difference. The major difference between the course are,BA LLB course covers arts subjects with law while BBA LLB course covers management and business subjects with law.In BA LLB, an individual can specialized in fields of accounting, taxation, etc. whereas in BBA LLB, the individual get specialized in corporate law, mergers and acquisitions.Which one is better? - Choosing a career option between the two programs depends on the area of interest of student. If he/she wants to practice law oneself then BA LLB is a good option.
