Am I the only one to be rejected from ucf?

I feel like I'm the only one who has been rejected because I can only find people who have been "deferred"
My only bad thing was my SAT scores and I was applying for dual enrollment/early admission which implies that I will be seeking dual highschool and college credit.
Any thoughts?? Has anyone been denied?

"Your application for admission to the University of Central Florida has been carefully considered by the Admissions staff. Due to the academic strength of this year's applicant pool, we regret that we are unable to offer you admission for the Fall 2010 term."

Does USF also look at AP scores? I know I have guaranteed admission to USF due to my high GPA and SAT (planning a 1500+).

Yes they do. Another guy below me posted a link to a list, which would tremendously help. Here is a general rule of thumb:If you are a science major, they will only count 4 or higher on AP scores as accepted credits for science classes.Same goes for every other major and corresponding classes. That being said, professional schools usually does not accept AP credits, and those that do tend to look lower on AP scores than University credited classes. If you are planning to go Pre Health (dental, nursing.etc), I suggest you skip taking AP classes that are shown as entrance requirements to these schools (e.g. statistics, chemistry.etc).

I was offered summer term enrollment in UCF, is this good or bad?

I went to a different state school in Florida, but I'm sure it works the same way at UCF. When you are accepted as a summer term freshman, it means that you did not quite make the cut for starting in the fall. You will have to attend classes in the summer (which usually start in June), but you have been accepted as a UCF student and assuming you pass your summer classes you will be a student in the fall.
It's intended to give students on the bubble the chance to prove themselves in a slightly less chaotic environment. Generally, during the summer there are far fewer student enrolled and because the semester is shorter, you'll take fewer classes.
It means you got into UCF, but your summer is going to be less fun than you'd probably hoped. Good luck!

How long does it take to get an admission decision from UCF and do I have a chance as a transfer?

Frankly, your 3.0 in College would put you pretty far down the Waitlist. Universities only have transfer openings when someone currently in the same program that you are applying to (and same year), either transfers out, changes majors, drops out or fails out. Then, the transfer applicant with the highest ranking (combination of GPA(s), etc. will get that spot. Naturally, applicants with a 3.9 or 4.0 at College or another University will get the first available spots. Then those with a 3.8, 3.7, 3.6, etc.

So, if you haven't Rejected within a month of applying, you'll be Waitlisted until the exhaust the number of opened spots.
