Looking For A Good Brand Of Earbuds That Also Look Cute Not Wanting Overpriced Beats Skull Candy

Skullcandy or Beats headphones?

PLEASE DO NOT WASTE ANY OF YOUR MONEY ON THOSE!

If REAL quality is an issue, please go for REPUTABLE brands only such as B&W, Sennheiser (most affordable), Shure, Grado, Denon, AKG, Audio-Technica, Etymotic or Beyerdynamic. Things like V-Moda, Klipsch, Sony, Panasonic, JVC and Philips are ONLY "okay-ish" indeed. Please do NOT fall a victim to FASHION ACCESSORIES by buying Sol/Republic/Revolution, Noontec Zoro's, Benetton, a-jays, iFrogz, Marley, Fanny Wang, Razer, Karl Kani, WESC, Turtle, JH, Dr.Dre/Beats/Solo, Ludacris/Soul, Koss, Skullcandy, Lady GaGa, Skullcrushers, Monsters nor Bose, because they are ALL seriously overhyped and overpriced "fashion blingbling gimmicks" with a very poor durability and sound quality, NOTHING else (and those who try to claim they are good do NOT know ANYTHING about QUALITY anyway!), BE THEM FAKE OR NOT!

Also, please DO NOT go for overly thumping bass that distorts EVERYTHING ELSE, go for GOOD SOUND QUALITY OVERALL instead.

Which makes better earphones, Sennheiser,  Skullcandy or JBL?

I have used at least one model earphone from these 3 brands. Let me share my experience in the form of pros and cons to easily understand and compare them better.…The JBL,It has earphones in various price range and the majority of these earphones are good, as far as audio output is taken into consideration.…Pros,The audio quality is quite good with the inbuilt bass and voice filtering. The exterior noise is cut off to some extent.…Cons,The issues I found in these is about the cushions. I can't use them for quite a long time continuously because it begins to pain the ears. Can't use them for over two hours continuously, it begins to pain.I'm using it now for about a month, the audio comes out on moderate volume3D effect is too much augmented, seems like we're sitting in a huge hall, not my choice.…The Sony,…Pros,Very good sound.Clear bass and crystal clear music details.Ear cuff fits well.Light weight and flexible.…Cons,No mic (for budget range products available for few and expensive models)This headset sound quality was different in various mobile versions.Folding headphones was small bit tricky in over ear headphones. Not for extended time listening.Ear cups aren't as durable and will get filthy soon after a period of rough use.Sound quality isn't that great. For sure a muddy Mid is a drawback. Not for BASS fans definitely.Must handle care without dropping it.High end phones give full effects and greater quantity sound..great Bass and surrounding Consequences.Middle end mobiles give good clarity and moderate bass. Some phones gives low audio volume. Still a expensive for middle range phones.Low end some phones give mixed effects and low bass yet another low end phones gives low sound volume.…The Skullcandy,…Pros,Offer you a good clarity unlimited music experience! It certainly can separate you from surrounding noises and give u a wonderful musical experience!…Cons,The standard of cables is cheap. You can sense the amount of cheapness the instant you touch it.I'm getting problem that now it is just right earphone is audible and for abandoned one it's fluctuating and upsetting or sometimes no voice in any way, And it depends on motion of wire.To know more about these 3 brands, read out these top 100 earphones comparison.

Which is better for headphones, Sony or Skullcandy?

If you’re looking for professional headphones Sony for sure.Skullcandy, I don’t know much about that brand, but they look a bit gimmicky. More design oriented than real pro sound.Cheers,

What are the best brands for earphones?

First it depends on your budget for earphones or in ear monitors, then your music preferences or reason for use, ie: for exercising, reference listening, at work/home listening, etc.Universal Earphones or IEMsAstell & Kern and Shure have several Universal Earphones or IEMs (in ear monitors) and JH Audio has custom and universal IEMs for both music lovers and audiophiles wanting more detail and refinement in their sound spectrum.Shure IEMs start at $299 for the SE315 model and the SE846 is their $999 model, with superb clarity, soundstage and detail for music enthusiasts and audiophiles. The SE846 is excellent for Rock, Blues, or Jazz. Add our Silver Dragon IEM Headphone Cable for Shure Earphones, and you’ll get greater detail, clarity and resolution to your music.Shure’s top of the line earphone is the KSE1500 which is an electrostatic IEM (the first of its kind). It’s an amazing universal earphone/IEM that has garnered rave reviews worldwide and a top seller for the past 2 years. It’s hard to get any better than the KSE1500 IEM but we know not everyone has a $3000 budget.Custom In Ear Monitors or EarphonesJerry Harvey of JH Audio holds the title of “Godfather of the Custom IEM” as he invented the customer iem while on tour as a sound engineer with Van Halen over 20 years ago.JH Audio currently holds over a dozen patents for their sound innovations in their iems and the Lola IEM is Jerry’s latest invention and its being compared to IEMs at twice the price with its sound performance, quality and detail that’s been tuned for Rock ’n Roll.Their 16v2, 13v2 and Roxanne were recently revamped to JH Audio 2nd version IEMs and all have a custom or a universal version. They all have improved sound quality, enhanced drivers and improved technology over the original versions.

Are beats by dre headphones even good?

NO! Please do yourself a favour and do NOT buy Turtle, JH, Dr.Dre/Beats/Solo, Ludacris/Soul, Koss, Skullcandy, Lady GaGa, Skullcrushers, Monsters nor Bose, because they are ALL seriously overhyped and overpriced "fashion blingbling gimmicks" with a very poor durability and sound quality, NOTHING else (and those who try to claim they are good do NOT know ANYTHING about QUALITY anyway!), be them fake or not! Things like Sony, JVC and Philips are ONLY "okay-ish".

Are skull candy head phones too emo?

I'm 19 want to get some nice headphones for my iPhone ate skull candies good? Also I don't want to get a pair that look emo so any suggestions? Not gothic/emo at all

What is a good brand of headphones to buy?

Good brands to consider are Sennheiser, Beyerdynamic, denon, audio technica, ultrasone, akg, and shure.

in the $100ish range, i recommend the creative Aurvana Live!(sleek looking) or the philips citiscape downtown (these are stylish).

between 100-200, ultrasone hfi-580, ultrasone hfi-780, audio technica m50.

int the $200 range, the v-moda m80(stylish, just looks bad *** especially in person. ive listened to these and i can definitely say these will be my next headphone purchase when i have the money), or the sennheiser hd25-1 ii.

ill link to the m80's since i love them :)

review with video at second page. sound quality impressions are also at second page:

keep in mind all the headphones i suggested above are closed headphones, meaning they wont leak sound and can be used in public. for open headphones for at home use, i suggest sennheiser hd518/558/598, akg q701

you probably already know, but dont get these brands:
BOSE: decent sounding but not for the price (yes, they have noise cancelling, but noise isolating is just as good and its cheaper since you dont have to pay for extra electronics and batteries.)
BEATS: all bad sounding for the price, its really just a necklace
SKULLCANDY: sucks mostly(except the aviators), but they are starting to focus on sound quality, the aviators are a good example of this.

the good brands i mentioned above also have their share of less than spectacular sounding headphones, so do your research!!!
the ones i recommended are the ones I've already researched since i'm a headphone nut.

research stuff:

Which is the best brand for earphones among JBL, Sennheiser, Philips, Sony and Skull Candy? Which model can you suggest in the range of 1.5k?

Dear Friend,First of all, I would like to say that I have owned over 500 pairs of headphones of brands from A to Z and I would give you suggestion based on my personal opinion of using many headphones. I am an audiophile, a person who loves music more than life. I have spent my life savings on audio gear.First of all, I wouldn’t go for JBL, Sennheiser, Philips, Sony or Skullcandy for a few reasons, which I will elaborate deeply. The first brand JBL, Sony - these are two brands that have the cheapest quality audio you will ever find. Yes, and mainly the reason behind it is that they have lost their virginity in the world of audiophiles. I have abandoned them long back.Secondly, Philips is not a brand any audiophile will look upto, especially not in India. Reason is simple. They mainly have plastic based headphones which provide rattling noise along with sound. This sub-standard quality sound is what makes for a terrible audio experience, so I suggest to just stay away from it.Skullcandy is a brand for teenagers and girls who like fancy colors on their headphones, and definitely not something real audio enthusiasts look for. If you ever belonged to an audiophile community, they would laugh at you if you say you are using skullcandy. Finally, I would say Sennheiser is a highly overpriced brand, and yet do not offer any value for your money. If you really want to save your money and get the best quality for your buck, I wouldn’t suggest using it either, as I have owned their cx180, cx300ii and momentums, of which, all are overpriced. For a price point of about Rs. 1.5k, if I was to pick one pair of headphones that I seem are not overpriced, overhyped are Twinwoofers In-Ear headphones. In my experience with Twinwoofers, which are perhaps having the flattest frequency response (natural soothing sound) and among the bassiest headphones I have in my headphone stack. I would suggest to get it from Tekfusion’s store just to make sure you are getting the right product at a good price.
