Okay--learned this from years in the military housing where you can't do anything permanent. Find some fabric you like, whether cotton or linen (something that can get wet). Take liquid starch, dip the fabric in the starch and spread the fabric like you would spread wallpaper and let it dry. When you are ready to move it peels right of the wall without any residue left.

Can you use computer wallpapers that belong to other computers?
Was the property initially payed for by you or is the wall paper an open source picture I would say absolutely! In these cases you paid for the rights to use them.Otherwise you may just want to check into it it all depends on the pictures but personally I believe if you changed them slightly it would be safe under fair use and sale however if you do not change them you must not sell or distribute them unless their is a permission in place from a legal standpoint.But I say share and share alike in this case from a legal standpoint if we get to the point where a desktop photo being used from another computer is going to be criminally prosecuted I think more and more people should just do it. It is kind of like prohibition of alcohol people knew it was a fools errand and just unfair to tell people they can not drink etc… So the only way to overcome stupid laws is if the masses of people simply just ignore them all together and stop living in fear of stupidity.Personally I like an all black desktop wall paper for a couple of reasons.It cuts down on power usage over the course of the year I may save a few bucks in power for doing so and likely expands the life of my display.And things are just so much easier to pick out and it is easier on my eyes overall. Personally I wish the standard for web pages was black background with green text I can only imagine how much waste this would save my youtube page is blacked out I use a blacked out version of google etc… But that is the sharpest and easiest on my eyes which is the most important thing. I recall back when I used to visit forums I used to love when you were able to change your background to black as a standard option when you logged in I have not checked if it is possible without modifying things on the page on quora quite yet but I miss the days when a lot of web pages like geocites and such had black backgrounds and green type!

Is it wrong to use a photographer's picture as pc wallpaper without asking?
Its not unethical if there's no copyright issue for the wallpaper. In that case you can also share that as well.If the photographer share that on social medias, you can ask him whether you can use it as wallpaper or not. He might be happy to hear that from it. But the thing is - 'is there any way where the photographer would learn that you're using his picture as your wallpaper? may be not!' So, why bothering?But be mentioned, if there's a copyright issue then you can not share that with anyone. It might bring you trouble and make you face some cases.Why not you just use some wallpaper app for your desktop or your iPhone/iPad (if you have one). Practically NEVER !!Windows can be used anywhere in videos because its your product.But when you are using wallpaper, it may be incorrect to use it without the permission of the owner but nobody cares about it. So practically won’t run in any trouble if you are using those.Note: If you are using stock images from The largest online art gallery and community then do ask them before using it.
Does wallpaper paste damage wall paint already on the wall?
I'm a college student and rent a room in a 3 bedroom with roommates. i have been renting this room for a year now and don't plan on moving for the next 3 yrs min. I'm tired of staring at the blank white wall, so boring and unfab!! i asked my landlord if he would allow me to repaint the room to my liking i will cover the expenses plus cans of white boring paint to undo my work when i move out but he won't let me . trying to find a solution i came across GRAHAM & BROWN PASTE THE WALL WALLPAPER online and it sounds wonderful. my only worry now is if the wallpaper primer and paste used in the process will damage the exciting wall paint?

I think this question involves a lot of assumptions and stereotypes. But a British person living in England would likely put whatever flowers on their balcony that they choose to, whatever makes them happy. There may be some parts of Europe where there is kind of an unwritten rule that people in the same block use similar colors for a uniformity or cohesive look. British people are more about freedom than that kind of thinking, so perhaps they would be offended if they were supposed to do that. Seems like a ridiculous petty and specific view of British people and Europeans. I've lived over there, and I can't think of a single person I knew who owned or rented a flat in England, and then moved to Europe and was horrified that all their neighbors had similar plants on their balconies.
