I'm looking for PC games about COLD (or HOT) WAR between USA and Soviet Union... Any recommendation?
Personally, I love playing "RED ALERT 2" and "RISE OF NATIONS-THRONES & PATRIOTS, Cold War scenario". They both have so much fun to play again and again! What do you all think then? Any other recommendation?

call of duty 4 is a good choice however if you want something more grown up then get Armed Assault; it is ridiculously realistic and just incredible; there are no boundaries on the map, you control your own squad, all the vehicles and aircraft you can name, and it is hellishly difficult; if you ever played operation flashpoint then you will know what i am talking about...
Is Rome Total War a good game? It looks boring?
I played age of empires II and some game about caesar where you built your own city, but it was a really early version of it + sim city III, but very boring cause once you know how the built, it's always the same

You will love the amazing graphics used in this game and the weapons that have been used at the time of WWI. You will be amazed with the war zone that they have developed inspired by the WWI scenarios.If you are a true fan for playing war games than you should play Battlefield 1 Hack and face the war zone and kill your enemies to become the best scorer of every match that you start to play.
Looking for a game that's 2d but similar to total war series? Mass war!?
I love the idea of mass war and epic wars... As well as building an empire. However... It seems as though a lot of the advanced graphic games are really limited in a lot of their aspects due to the fact that they have to focus on the graphics as well... Are there any simple 2d games or even text based games for mass wars??? I want like... 5000 units on the screen at once killing each other.
War games for my PS3?
BEST game choice would be the Call of Duty series. (COD) Theese are a game series about different time periods of war and by far the best games overall I've ever played for that genre. Te newest one in the series is Call of duty: black ops. Which is based In cold war and is probibly the most action filled out of the series. The second newest is Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2. This is based in moder times with modern problems, and has the best graphics in my opinion These both have an amazing story line and tremendous online gaming. Theres so much to complete on them and it's a blast doing it. They are currently coming out wit the latest one: Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3, which is going o be about world war 3 and I am defiantly looking forward to this. You can look up some trailers on YouTube for these games if you'd like to see them first. If your going to buy a war game, Get any of the call of duties. Hands down best war games.
