Are Men better at teaching boys?

Have you ever seen a father attending his little girl’s tea party? It’s adorable. It’s also awkward. He sits in her little-girl chair at her little-girl table while his big fingers try to clasp her little-girl cup and saucer. Videos have gone viral over just this thing.Most women play sports. But very few can throw a ball to their son with the speed and force that a father can.Either adult sex can teach academics, moral ethics etc to boys or girls. But nobody can teach a boy to be a man except a man. Women don’t know how to be men. They observe the male world but don’t understand it on a fundamental level.Same thing for women. Women have puzzled men since Eve puzzled Adam. We are a total mystery to men. That’s why only a woman can teach a girl to be a woman. We understand each other.

Who is the strangest person you ever met as an adult?

We had one colleague who was a mechanical engineer. He had a baby face and was well built, fair and initially easy to move with, but later became a very moody person. He was a bachelor and used to get into debate and had very good and useful value adding points. He was strange. We don’t know why, but for some reason, he was called “Bonda” which as you must be knowing is a very tasty snack of boiled potatoes and onions deep fried together with a covering of Gram dal powder.He used to commute by bus to office and sometimes walked long distances - from MG road to Hanumanthnagar in Bangalore (around 7 kms).Suppose you go to him and tell him that you want to walk with him, he would either say that he has changed his mind and destination or he will say that he wants to go alone.His shirts usually were of light blue or light cream colour and he had lots of them.We had doubt that he was wearing the same shirt again and again; so one of our friends put a small blue ink dot at the back of his shirt and we watched. He wore the same shirt for 41 days.He would never lean / rest at the back of the chair and was always sitting erect. His reason : If he leaned back, crease would get formed in the shirt and it would tear fast.He used to bring his tiffen box; and normally he used to bring chappathis. He will clean up the tiffen box and lick the entire box without need for further cleaning!When tea was served to him, he would drink the cup till the last drop. He would pour contents of the saucer into the cup or drink directly from saucer again and again till the whole saucer and/or cup was empty.While going home, he would lock the drawers of his table. After locking, he would pull each of the drawers again and again with a force similar to the dentist using for extracting your tooth!. He would bang the drawer inside loudly. He would go till the door and again come back to check the drawer and pull it violently.Poor guy, he had some issues; he would invariably wet his pants after using the toilet.He used to write in such big letters that he could write hardly three lines in a page and four works in a line.He used to hold the pen through his palm and write and would not use the fingers for holding the pen.With all the above, he was a nice man when in mood. He used to talk very softly and with lot of knowledge and value adds. He used to donate readily and voluntarily for any farewell parties, marriage occasions, etc. Net to net a nice person.
