What are some good free ebook reading apps for Android?

I love reading. As someone rightly said, “Reading gives us some place to go, when we have to stay where we are”. The best apps i found for reading on Android are:Moon+ ReaderPros:· Highly customizable interface and gesture settings.· Feature to attach notes to words.· Options to save multiple themes.Cons:· PDF support isn’t that good.· Improper handling of block quote tag in HTML documentsSweekPros:· Statistics for each book or story.· Cross platform availability and multilingual.· Monthly competitions giving high incentives to write and read more.Cons:· Few more customization options should have been included.Aldiko Book Reader:Pros:· Supports PDFs.· Allows you to arrange the books systematically in self-created collections.Cons:· Limited customization· No status barFBReader:Pros:· Open source app· Eight bundled online catalogues.· Multi-catalogues search.Cons:· Limited fonts.· Limited gesture control.

Is there any Android ebook/PDF reader app that supports inbuild offline dictionary lookup for a selected word? This feature is available in kindle.

Which would you prefer more? A pair of headphones which only work with one of your devices, or one which can be paired with all the devices that you own or any that you might own in the future? The latter, right? You don’t want a dictionary that only works with a particular document reader. You want a dictionary which works with any and every Document reader, be it PDFs, Ebooks or Office documents. What you need is a system wide dictionary. With that you have the CHOICE of using whichever reader you’re comfortable with. Here are three such dictionaries for android devices.DefineThis is the best of the three. It is based on the Wordnet dictionary, which works offline too. It also gives results from the Urban Dictionary, but that only works online. Here’s how it works:Copy the word you want the meaning for,Touch the floating notification, and you have the meaning. If somehow this app doesn’t work for you, or if simply you don’t like it, you can try using the other two. But they don’t offer the same experience. On Touch DictionaryIt works fine too, in fact, there are only two steps to define a word, as opposed to three in ‘Define’.But what turned me away from this app is the fact that it only works online. this might not be a problem at home, but if you like reading while travelling, keeping cellular data takes a toll on the battery life of your phone. Another annoying feature could be the ads, they are there every time you seek definition for a word.Just copy the wordand you’re done!Define - Offline DictionaryThis works a little differently; it has a floating icon on every screen. You can move it around as wherever you feel comfortable. The problem is that the icon disappears a lot and you have to restart the app to get it back.Hope you find the answer useful!
