H1b sponsors?

I would contact the American embassy in the country you live in, and ask them that question.

If what you want is possible, they may be able to enlighten you as to the process.

Where to find sponsors in chennai ?

We have a department function coming up in our college and we are selling stall space/banner space/ads etc. to promote and raise funds for the event. Similarly, sponsors too will benefit from the event as people from various other schools & colleges will attend the event!

We want to make it big and are looking for sponsors NOW!
What are the suggestion you have?

I'm looking to sponsor a child's education in Bangalore. How do I find the right person?

If you are still looking for an answer to your question here are my few centsFinding a genuine place is no rocket science while it's not a easy ride too. Trust me, you gaining confidence on a place will completely depend on your perception. While there are many NGOs which work selflessly there are more of them which push into skepticism! You could pick any place on someone's suggestion and make a donation, but I believe the only way you can gain confidence is by following up with the NGO on the utilisation of your donation periodically, and having a regular interaction with the beneficiary.I shall tell you what would I do if I were you!As a simple approach I could look for someone in my locality who is deprived of basic needs and isn't able to afford education. Eg., may be my house maid's son, and shall pay for his education myselfI can look through few orphanages in my vicinity (as I can make a visit sometime easily) speak to the person running the place, enquire whereabouts, and pick a deserving beneficiary if I gain faith on the placeI shall look for one person in my friend circle who I knew well and who has great interest in charity and is selfless about ( I am sure there should one in every ones friend list), handover money to him and encourage him to use it for something usefulAnd many more ways depending on my bandwidth! While I am saying this, I was the similar one like you who was very skeptical with the ways NGOs are functioning and was in ambiguity to make my donations. Guess what I ended up starting up an NGO on my own with a couple of like minded friends to contribute to the orphans education. Trust me, I find a lot of satisfaction in the way we are solving such ambiguous problems of donors like you by winning their confidence on our utilisation of funds! You can reach me out to get your such questions answered better. Thanks!

Looking for sponsorship for a job or tier 2 general working visa for the UK.?

Hi, I've been applying for jobs in the UK for the past month and it doesn't seem likely at all that companies are willing to help me with sponsorship for me to aquire the tier 2 general working visa. I truly believe with my qualifications - MCSE microsoft certification - and work experience of about 2 years will ensure me of a aquring this visa.

I am South African, 22 years old. Can anyone help me, point me in the right direction to look for jobs that are willing to give sponsorship and assurance of a job to make the switch to the UK? I have been looking through the following websites - www.jobsite.co.uk and http://jobs.southafricantimes.co.uk/, but with no real luck.

It's extremely difficult for someone like me to make this happen with the exchange rate being R12 for 1 British pound. This made me think that if I can find a company willing to sponsor me to study, I can acquire the study visa and work part time for this company with the aim to make it permanent and paying back little by little the study fee and then by getting the Tier 2 working visa through the company after the studies. I need the sponsorship of finances to make this happen.

I realize a opportunity like this does not just drop in one's lap but I am willing to go very far to make this dream of mine come true. Can anyone give me idea's or show me where to look for help.

Thanks in advance.
Frederik

Barrel racing sponsors?

Fist, forget about sponsors like Ariat, Prof Choice etc. EVERYONE goes to them for sponsorships.

Instead, start with your local Chamber of Commerce and get a list of local businesses that are community involved. (You'll probably want to skip the feed stores too. Go ahead and ask I guess, but everyone asks their feed stores.)

Next you write out a letter explaining the costs of racing, your achievements all ready, your upcoming year and goals. Describe the crowds at the rodeos. What demographic are they? (Probably Caucasian adults and young adults, maybe 100 views each time) Also write out some benefits for the business. Be specific "I will proudly display your logo on my shirt, at 10 races, giving your logo visibilitly as many as 10,000 times over the year. I will also display your logo on my horsetrailer for the entire year, covering all the highway miles in this rodeo circuit from City X to City X"

You have to sell it!!

Then, go get your sponsors.

I don't know about your race fees, but when I get horseshow sponsors I write up a bunch of different levels:

1 Local Class: $25
1 Local Show Day $200
1 Away Show Class: $75
1 Away Show Day: $600

Fuel Sponsor: $100 per event, to be collected before each event etc.

Then I go to a bunch of businesses I deal with regularly (I once got a sponsorship from a Native American Tobacco Shop, for like $2,500, and I was also secretly sponsored at show by my salon, even though I wasn't supposed to know it was them)

So, talk about sponsorships everywhere you go.

Where I used to live, the manager at Walmart always sponsored a horse girl every year.

Those types of businesses always have a general expense account for stuff like that, that managers can use at their own discretion, so don't think they are harder to get than a little business, where $50 might be the difference between making payroll or not. ASK THE BIG RETAILER MANAGERS.

Oh, and don't forget to make some kind of award plaque, thank you letter or something like that. If they have something to put on their wall they will be more likely to do it again next year. PS TROPHY COMPANIES AND EMBROIDERY COMPANIES can be sponsors too!

What are some good qualities to look for when choosing a sponsor for Confirmation?

A good Catholic is one who is in good standing with the Church. This means that they follow and profess all of the Church's dogmas and doctrines. A good Catholic is also a devout one, who does more than just the minimum required to serve God.

A good Catholic may do a daily Rosary, read the Bible daily, or any other prayer routine such as the Divine or Little Offices or their own prayers. A good Catholic will go to Mass every Sunday and every Day of Obligation. A good Catholic goes to confession frequently, and does their best to live a life obedient to God. A good Catholic will also give some of their time or money to help those less fortunate than themselves.

Most of all, a good Catholic loves the Lord, and most especially the Lord in the Eucharist. Love of Mary and the Saints is also desirable, though not mandatory.

How do I find a sponsor to study abroad?

Are you looking for a sponsor for your visa or for your university application and proof of funds? If you can be a bit more specific, I could be more helpful. If it's for your visa, different countries have different requirements. In the US for example, you have to get an admission to your university before you can go to the embassy for your visa application. The US Embassy will ask you for proof of funds. They want to know how you will pay for tuition and other related expenses.Proof of funds. They will want some bank statements for your sponsor to make sure that you will afford to live in the States without being a burden to the government. When applying for admission, universities will ask for your financial situation of your parents to get an idea of how you will afford them. In this case, a sponsor is whoever shows that they will pay for your education costs. They can be anywhere: in your home country or elsewhere.Hope this helps.Didier Champion

How do I get sponsors for competitive events in India?

I wrote this for Startups: How do I get sponsors for a college event (Cash and in kind),without any 'links'? but I think it applies here too. Have a look!On how to get sponsorships for your events:To connect to the right sponsors you need to create a list of companies whose products/services match the audience of your event. I.e. their target customer is your target attendee. Before you contact anyone you need to consider WHAT they would stand to gain from sponsoring your event. WHY should they be sponsoring YOU?If they do decide to sponsor you, WHERE and HOW will their company/product/service be advertised and in what FORM and FORMAT? What sponsorship options or packages are available? How many people are likely to attend the event and see these adverts (REACH)?How much of their products/services/funding do you need?Prepare a short no-nonsense PROPOSAL and pitch with all of the details above. Think about getting them as inspired and excited as you are, but do provide general figures and planning information. Show them you are serious and have done your homework!Once you have your list of potential sponsors and a proposal or "pitch", the next step is to dig online and try to find the decision-makers (DM's) within those companies. The DM's in regard to sponsorships will be the managers in marketing/PR/CSR, in smaller companies the owners. (You can find the DM's through the company's website/Google/LinkedIn/Facebook or just call and ask)Send out a very short email (one-two sentences) to the DM's asking for a meeting and follow-up with a phone call if you're getting no feedback. If the company is local go to their office and ask to speak to the DM.Remember: try not to make your email/phone call/pitch too sales oriented or in other words too focused on what you need the sponsor to do and/or give. Think about what they're gaining, how exciting the event will be, be inspiring and they will be inspired also! Have a look at - Looking for an event sponsor? Here’s the first thing you should do Good luck!
