Did Kylo Ren's face kinda ruin the movie for anyone?

In a way. I think his face was perfect for the role. Like mentioned before, he could be the son of Ford and Fisher. What ruined the movie was the reveal. The timing of the reveal was awful. Not just from a movie perspective, but also from a character perspective. My theory about Kylo's mask is that he uses it as a sort of shield to hide his insecurities between light and dark. When Rey asked him to take it off, he had EVERY reason to keep it on. He wanted to interrogate and intimidate her. Not something you can do with that baby face.He was in the room with someone that could possibly turn him towards the light. He wasn't in turmoil enough to doubt yet, and he needed the mask to prevent just that. The only reason he could have to take it off, was if he wanted to plead to her as a human. But that was not his style. How should it have been handled? On the bridge, with his dad. Everything that made the reveal wrong with Rey, would've made it right here.He was face to face with his father and needed to see him "with his own eyes"His allegiance was in real jeopardy. He was torn towards the light so bad that he could take the mask off.It would be the perfect moment to reveal that this monster we had been seeing, was just a normal guy like everyone else, driving the point home that everyone could fall to the dark side and have the inner turmoil he was having. This would've made the reveal and also his actual face so much more meaningful.

Kids birthday party at movie theater?

My son is five he is going to a birthday party for his 4 year old friend. The invite said it was at the movies to watch tangled. I was wondering how birthday parties at theaters for little kids work. I tried to talk to the parents but i could only reach the answering machine.

Do I stay with my son? Do I pay for his and mine tickets?

What Movie With Mona Lisa and Playing Card?

Gaaahhh I've been looking for the name of this movie I saw a LONG time ago, but can't remember it, infact the only scene I remember was where (and this I remember vaguely, so I may be a little off) it was kinda like a treasure hunt kinda movie, I thought it was the Da Vinci Code, but turns out nope,

Anyways, the scene I remember, the 2 main characters were in France and were given this playing card, and were told to not lose it, and it looked like an ordinary card, but it was one of those mystery look for the clues kinda movie, and they were in a museum looking at the mona lisa, they peeled off a layer of the card that they were given, the shiny see through one, and looked through it at the mona lisa. Which revealed another clue, I don't remember what it was though.

I think it was also a comedy movie, I may be wrong about that but I vaguely think I remember that the first time the held up the layer they peeled off at the painting, it was like an x-ray, and they saw the mona lisa with only a bra (lol) but I think my memory just made that up.

Sorry I can't be any more detailed or remember anything else, but seriously, can anyone figure out what this movie was? I really wanna see it again, I remember enjoying it the firs time, but now I can't remember anything anymore!

Is there any cheesy alien movie, kinda like "Mars Attacks"?

Agree, cheese is good for the thrill of movie watchers. Just pure simple pleasure. Some suggestions:
Plan 9 from Outer Space, 1959. Really a riot to watch. Not intended to be so bad that it is good.
SpaceBalls, 1987. Made with the thought of being cheesy.
Without Warning, 1980. The same actor who plays the alien in "Without Warning", Kevin Peter Hall, also plays the Predator.
The Blob, 1958. Made Steve McQueen popular, and is kinda cheesy.
The Strange World of Planet X (1958).
Earth vs. the Flying Saucers (1956). Good at the time, but today it really looks cheesy.
I Married a Monster from Outer Space (1958). Better than one might think.
Invisible Invaders (1959).
It! The Terror from Beyond Space (1958). Cheesy dialogue, effects, and they show the space ship hurtling through space during the movie, but if you look at the star pattern, you see that it is the same clip being shown time and time again. But, I am not complaining.

What type of movies do you like to watch?

What kinds of movies do you most enjoy? Why?Family comedies with happy endings. The older I get, the less I like horror, angsty movies, message movies, fighting, bad guys, stupidity, bad science, and crudeness.I dislike those kinds of movies, because I get way too much of that unpleasant stuff in real life. I don’t want anymore in my entertainment.99% of the movies I like are comedies. Especially comedies about families, friendships, and romance. With all the irritations and pains that come from having a 77 year-old body, I need all the humor I can get.I like science fiction if it doesn’t have too much bad science. I can accept impossible things like time travel, if they’re the main point of the movie, but most everything else should be realistic. I don’t like most stuff they call science fiction because they’re really horror.I don’t like message movies because at my age, I find most messages to be rather childish.
