Loose Pigtails/plaits On 15 Y.o.

Do you think its ok for a 14/15 year old girl to wear pigtail/half pigtails?

Yes, It's perfectly fine. Age doesn't really matter, It depends on what you looks like and whether they suit you or not. If you look younger than you actually are, like you say,I'm sure it won't look too bad and will probably look good on you. I know people in their mid twenties who still wear pigtails. Maybe go for looser ones instead. If pony tails don't suit you maybe try something else [e.g a French plait or a loose bun]. It may looks a little too childish if you have a fringe, high pigtails and bright ribbons or bows but apart from that I wouldn't worry.

:)

Why do guys like pigtails on a female?

I've been noticing a trend everytime I wear my hair in low pigtails (or with a braid on one side). Guys dig this! Why? It all started with my ex-bf. He said that's how he noticed me at first was because my hair was in pigtails. It actually turned him on. LOL. After that, everytime I sported that look - I'll get compliments from guys saying that my hair looks cool or it looks nice, etc. I do loose pigtails - not tight ones btw. I don't wear this look anymore because I feel I'm too old for it. haha. But do you have any idea why guys would like this look or be turned on by it?? It baffles me.

Are two braids childish on a 15 year old?

I love the look of two loose braids with layers hanging out, I just don't know if it's age appropriate and what people would think if I wore that look to school.
Would you recommend it?

Is it bad that I keep my hair up all the time?

Based on personal experience, there are bad sides to keeping your hair up on a regular basis. First, it creates this unwanted body, especially if your hair is not super straight. Second, I notice that on the days that I tie my hair in ponytail, I will get lots of falling hair strands the next day. That is discounting the hair I lose when I am removing the elastic that i used. Third, there are times when I get mild headache, especially when I am using a tighter band. What I suggest is that you don't do this style everyday. Let your hair down once in a while (every other day if you can) so that your hair can have its "relaxation" time. you can wear headbands so your hair strands will not touch your face if that is one of the reason you always keep them up. Next, if you do a pony tail, please make sure to not make it too tight so your hair can still breathe. And make sure to choose a good material for your elastic/hair ties. Third, you can check the hair products that you use (e.g. shampoo, conditioner etc.) as they might also be contributing to the thinning of your hair and the receding hairline. Maybe you can choose something that is less harsh that will work well with your hair (products that are made from organic ingredients). Finally, if you are open to shortening your hair a bit, you might want to consider having a haircut. shorter hair, less tangles, less hair fall. I have always had my hair below shoulder length and has a case of hair fall too. But the two years I cut it short (bob cut). My hair fall problem was gone :)Hope what I have written was helpful. Have a good day!

How to control fine, curly, messy hair on a 6 year old with sticky out ears?

BEST thing always is to part her hair down the middle and plait on both sides she can then wear little clips in to make her look girly and pretty give her some in her hand to choose which ones she wants that day giving you free time to do the plaits. Believe me mine are now 18 and 15 and you DO get used to plaiting and will gain speed each time you do it. Not only will it cover her ears but train her double crown to sit flatter..... BUT do you know that it is LUCKY to have a double crown... I have one (so far so good)....... Plaits never date and it keeps her hair away from other children who may have head lice in school....... Plait it whilst wet even she can sleep with them in quite comfortably it will then train the hair to part naturally in the middle. Hope this helps like I said mine is 18 at the weekend and it worked wonders for her :o)
