Losing Or Gaining Weight

What is easier, losing weight or gaining weight?

Hey,Now that s tricky question but the answer I think should also be tricky right ??It is not easy to just compare gaining and losing different or equally . For some people it might be difficult to gain weight as compared to lossign. Cause their way of living the work they do , their stamina and the metabolism might be high. So for them if you ask they will defiantly say yes gaining weight is difficult .But on the other hand for those who workout daily but still not loosing their weight after taking a specific diet loosing weight is a big issue.Si it depends on the genetics, the vedios they have , the work they do , their body structure. Fat storage areas , metabolism, and also I think luck. But yes there is nothing which can beat perseverance, routine, hardwork, determination and dedication.

What is more difficult: gaining weight or losing weight?

Obviously the answer is losing weight. If we’re talking about water weight, that’s different. But if we’re talking about fat mass, losing fat will always be more difficult. It’s more difficult to lose weight than to gain weight because you don’t have that much control of how many calories your body burns but you can control how many calories you consume.I know a lot of people are going to say gaining muscle will burn more calories, but realistically, muscles don’t burn as many calories as you think they do. 1 lb of muscle burns about 30 calories. This isn’t a lot if you think about it. You need a lot of muscle mass in order for your body to burn a lot of calories, and most people don’t have that much muscle mass.Let’s say you want to lose some fat, your body burns 2,400 calories, and you cut your calories by 400 calories. That means you should lose 1 lb of fat in 9 days. If you cut your calories too much, you’ll lose muscle mass and you’ll end up looking skinny and jiggle. In other words, skinny fat.If you lose some weight in a short period of time when trying a new diet, you most likely lost water weight. In order to lose 1 lb of fat, you need to burn 3,500 calories from the fat stored in your body. Fat loss takes a longer time than you think it does. When cutting your calories, fat will not be the only thing you will lose.No. Ectomorphs or skinny people do not have “fast metabolism.” I’m really sick of hearing that. If you really do have a fast metabolism, you would not have a problem with gaining weight because when you have a fast metabolism, your appetite is almost like a bottomless pit; therefore, you can’t stop thinking about food. No matter how much you eat, you can’t stay full for that long. People with fast metabolism need to control themselves from eating too much or else they’ll gain too much weight because that’s how big their appetite is.If you eat an entire box of X-Large pizza in one sitting and you’re not even slightly hungry 1 hour later, you don’t have a big appetite; therefore, you don’t have a fast metabolism.I literally have never seen a skinny person who eats at least 5,000 calories everyday and stay skinny irl. Ever.

How can I gain weight without losing or while gaining speed?

I am a safety and wide receiver for my high school's football team. I am 5'11" and 140 pounds but I just recently turned 15 and am about to be a sophomore, so I am still growing. I recently ran my 40 times in the 4.7-4.8 range and am wondering how to gain weight and speed at the same time.

Which is more difficult: losing weight or gaining muscle?

I’ve done both at different times so I have a pretty good perspective on this.Mentally, weight loss take the cake. When you have to lose weight, you are forced to make some major lifestyle changes. Bad habits are why we become overweight and breaking any bad habit takes much mental fortitude.Physically, building muscle is way harder. For starters, the actual workout has to be high intensity. Honestly it hurts, it burns, and you’re sore all the time. It’s a pretty uncomfortable physical thing. You can’t just go to the gym and throw weights around and come out with muscles, you have to really shock your muscles into growth and that means destroying them. And you have to repeat that process again and again and again and again. Muscle growth takes time. . . and a lot of it. Because it’s so much more dense than fat, it takes a lot of it before you can see growth in the mirror. You could work your ass off for months and, depending on your goal, it would only be the beginning of your journey.Eating for muscle growth is a job all by itself. Contrary to popular money driven beliefs, weight loss can be achieved by simply eating healthy (I’ve lost 70lbs by doing this myself). No special diets are necessary. Muscle on the other hand has to be fed correctly in order to grow. Maybe you get lucky with good genetics, but you’ll eventually be spinning your wheels if you don’t have the correct diet. For some this wall comes sooner than others.I will quote a young man who once described what it’s like when people tell him to back off the weights“Don’t get too big!!!”“BRUH I’ve been trying to get ‘too big’ for like 2 f**** years it ain’t easy like that s*** doesn’t magically happen”I’ve was lucky enough to experience both sides. When I was losing weight I couldn’t wait for the day when I could finally say “I did it.” Now, sometimes I miss the process of weight loss (I jokingly refer to it as “rookie gains”) but I enjoy the work ethic I have developed on the quest for muscle. The grass is always greener.

I am confused, does curd help in losing weight or gaining weight?

Now, never exclude curd off your diet. It's very important and has some really good health benefits. But refrain from consuming curd at night. Curd is rich in fats, protein, carbohydrates and probiotic content. Adding this to your breakfast can do wonders to your daily routine. And since it being rich in these macros, it helps gain weight (of consumed wayy too much). Instead, buttermilk, another very very good fluid that one must have in their diet. This is very rich in protein and less in fats and carbs. This also has better health benefits than that of curd. Having a glass of buttermilk a day can make you super healthy. And if you wanna lose weight/consume less carbs, this is the way to go!Hope this helps :)

It's all about how you do it, if you fast the way our elders intended, you should definitely lose weight, but if you fill yourself with all sorts of food after sundown you will gain weight. Eat moderately at iftar, and eat properly, one meal will suffice, and then you should lose weight, its not the healthiest way of doing it but it works.
