My best friend used to laugh like that too. Just that she reminded me of the mad scary witches on horror TV shows.. U know wat i did When we were out on the street, I actually told her to laugh a little less loudly (if u get wat i mean) (since there were many many people on the road who turned to stare at her when she laughed) She took it really well. :) Tell ur b.f. u love her a lot, n don't have much prob with tha laugh either. Just the volume... Or u could always keep trying to get used to it...

i know this is a weird question and i dont want to sound like a jerk, but my roommate has the most obnoxious laugh. It is so stupid. I wouldnt care except it penetrates the walls and bothers me constantly. He is a good guy (kind of a meat-head) an pretty easy to live with, but i cant stand that laugh. I dont want to be mean and i dont know if you can tell someone they have an obnoxious laugh, am my hands tied here?
Every night I have to listen to my roommate finger herself. How do I get her to stop?
My roommate and I are really close. This is the second year that we've lived together and at the end of last semester she took up a disgusting habit. At night she fingers herself abnormally loud, which makes me question if she is excessively loose. I wouldn't care if I didn't have to listen to it, but I certainly do not want to listen to the musical stylings of my roommate's vagina. I have yelled at her for it twice, one of which she denied. I can't find a way to tell her to stop because I know she'll deny it. I know that she is consciously doing it (and not in her sleep) because it starts the second her head hits the pillow. I have earplugs that I wear that thankfully help out, but I shouldn't have to wear them every night. She does have a boyfriend whom she is very sexual with, and to my knowledge does not have any sex toys. What should I do??

So this is really embarrassing for me but I just transferred colleges and now have roommates. We don't actually share rooms, just a common living area and we each have our own very small room four in a row. The college we are at is probably the conservative college in the nation as it is a religious college with a very strict honor code including no sex out of marriage, no drinking, etc. I am a girl and last night after bedtime I masturbated. I didn't moan and the bed isn't squeaky but I'm worried they heard rustling sheets or that they could hear me breathing (though I don't know how they could it wasn't super loud). I went to the bathroom afterwards but I'm hoping they just thought I couldn't get to sleep and had to go to the bathroom. I tried to be as quiet as possible through the whole thing. I'm just so paranoid right now and they are being kind of rude to me but that happens a lot so it may not mean anything and I don't know what to do or how to act and I need help. Is there any way they heard me? My anxiety is so high. I have a lot of social anxiety anyway and I want them to like me so bad and I also have a lot of shame because it's a very religious community and I was abused as a child. Please help do you think they heard and so they're going to be mean to me forever? I don't want to be ostracized I just finally want to make friends.
