What is the name of the song that plays in the st louis zoo commercial?

This was asked before and the answer was not right. The lyrics go something like:

We're going to the zoo today
We're going to the zoo hurray
We're going to the zoo today
Can you come out and play?

I cant figure out what the rest of the lyrics are, any answers? And no its not the stingray commercial, good grief.

The St. Louis Zoo?

Why, thank you! Its very nice of you to say so. We're a little biased, but we love it too. I like that there are free parking along the street so you can make it a completely free trip if needed. We go there quite a few times each year whenever the kids want to do something fun and money is tight. My sister-in-law is from Texas and does a lot of traveling. She couldn't believe all the free stuff St. Louis has to do. The science center, art museum, history museum, zoo, brewery, etc. We went to Chicago last year and WOW, talk about sticker shock. We have been spoiled by our city that has so many free family activities!

St. Louis Zoo zoovenir cups?

I went to the zoo in April and bought one of the zoovenir cups for $8 which give you refills for $1 and I'm going to the zoo again today. If I bring that cup, do I still get $1 refills or do I have to buy one of those cups every time I go?

Need a wheel chair or scooter to get around the St.Louis Zoo?

Wheelchairs, strollers and motorized vehicles are available to rent at The Living World and South Gate. All are available on a first come, first serve basis. An I.D. is required for rental. A driver's license is the only I.D. accepted for motorized vehicles.

Wheelchairs: $7 per day. $25.00 refundable deposit is required.
Guest operated single passenger scooters (one seat): Available to those 18 years or older in limited quantities at $25.00 per day. A $25.00 refundable deposit is required. Other restrictions may apply.

Can a seeing eye dog go to the zoo?

Contrary to popular belief, they aren't allowed absolutely everywhere. There are exceptions. However, zoos generally aren't one of them.

They can be excluded from some areas of a zoo, such as open air aviaries or butterfly displays where the zoo specimens have an opportunity to come in direct contact with the service dog. But when the exhibits are in fenced or caged display areas they are permitted by federal law (in the U.S.), to accompany their disabled handler to view the exhibits.

I've taken my service dog to the St. Louis Zoo on several occasions. He was not phased. No service animal should be, given the amount of proofing that goes in to training them.

Most of the exhibits were also unphased. We walked right up to a leopard who was sunning on a rock just 8 feet below us and it didn't even raise its head from a nap to look at us. Herds of zebra, antelope, elephants and giraffes paid him no attention at all. Peacocks and other aves were unimpressed. Reptiles didn't care.

On the other hand, I did find one exhibit, a group of tiny primates who became agitated at the sight of my service dog. I quickly removed him from their vicinity to avoid causing them distress. Most of the primates, and particularly the chimps were fascinated by him. Having learned from countless visitors that the way to get the attention of someone on the other side of the glass was to tap on it, they did that to get my service dog's attention. He looked at them curiously, but didn't do anything particularly interesting so they eventually lost interest in him.

Do you often visit zoo?

I've only been to a zoo a few times, unfortunately. I wish I could/would go more. Some of the most memorable moments of my life have been at the zoo. I'll definitely go more during the summer when I don't have class or I am not that busy. One thing I do visit often is my local natural science museum. Its called Cooks Natural Science Museum. I wouldn't classify it as a zoo, but it does come close. It has a lot of the wildlife from the region I live in(insects, mammals, reptiles, amphibians, and birds.). Although they are not alive, it is a good resource to get an idea of the local fauna of the region .One more thing, they are moving that museum to a new location with a brand spanking new and bigger building. They have the floor layouts on their website. here: (Home). It looks soo awesome! They are going to have a freaking salamander room!
