Wireless router changes SSID itself?

Sometimes my WIFI router will change its SSID name, I will see I have been disconnected from my wireless and when I click my wireless settings I see a SSID with the name Brcm_test_ssid with 5 bars of signal, which must be my own, as the others I pick up have 2 bars at best. Then the router will change to its default SSID name "SpeedTouch" the a a minuet later back to my own set SSID.

If i check the router settings after it shows the up time as just a few seconds as if it has been restarted

Sims 2 help, neighborhood deleted itself??

A few days ago I was playing the Sims 2 and I needed to get off the computer badly, and since the game was in the middle of loading something and I didn't have time to wait for it, I just turned off the whole computer and assumed that when I opened the game again, it would just start up from the point I'd last saved. (not sure if that has anything to do with why this happened, but I thought I should mention it just in case). When I opened the game up again, though, I found that it'd entirely deleted the neighborhood I'd been playing in (pleasantview). I was REALLY mad because that's where every one of my sims and lots were. Has this happened to any of you, and do you know if there's any hope of me getting my stuff back? Thanks!

Does anyone has codes for smackdown vs raw?

their isnt any codes but i think you could use a gameshark to get stuff on their.

How can I stop the loud fan noise from a MacBook Pro?

The question of why your fan is running hot is the real question.  It may be old, it may be dirty and require a cleaning, or it may not have enough RAM which is causing the apps that are running to max out the processor and as it heats up, the fans are kicking in to try to cool it.  If it is a MacBook Pro (not a retina or MacBook Air), you can open it up, add additional RAM and blow out the dust that has gathered up with a compressed air canister.  You can also upgrade the standard hard drive to a SSD that does not run as hot, and can help the fans maintain the right temperature.I use an app called memory clean (available on the app store), which can manage your available RAM better than the standard OS system does, and clears it out automatically when necessary. It may also help to determine whether it always runs hot (including right after a restart), or is it only after the machine has been running for a while?  Does it run hotter when certain apps are open?  Are you quitting apps when you are not using them?  (Browsers being left open can be a particular drain on both memory and processor speed and over time can cause all sorts of nasty things to happen on your machine).  You can also check your activity monitor, (in your Utilities folder) to see if a particular process is maxing out the processor.  I had a client who was synching a massive Dropbox account, and during that sync the fan sounded like a wind turbine... Dropbox was using over 130% of the processor (don't ask me about that math, that's what it said in Activity Monitor).  When we quit dropbox the fan went back to normal.  In most cases something like that or lack of RAM causes the fan to overcompensate and spin loudly like that.

Should I turn off my computer if it's stuck on the loading screen "getting Windows ready don't turn off your computer"?

The old adage “if it’s not working, restart the computer” apparently applies to Windows even when it tells you specifically NOT to turn it off.I got this screen when just trying to reboot my computer (windows 10) and even though the disk light was blinking as though it was up to something, I eventually powered down the machine. It booted back up without issue as though nothing had gone wrong… As others have stated, Windows is pretty resilient these days.In a worst-case scenario if you take this action while it’s actually installing an update, you could run into trouble. Most likely, all you’ll have to do is roll back the update. The chances of causing catastrophic damage are pretty slim.As others have also stated: if it’s really stuck then you don’t have much of a choice. Unless you have a really slow, old computer, it’s hard to imagine being legitimately stuck on this screen for more than about 40 minutes. I couldn’t even wait 15.
