Yahoo massengaer - not geting the mail alerts at my home as well as work place.?
Just wanted to let you know that you are not alone with this ongoing problem. Sometimes it will say i have emails when i really dont. Other times it will say i have none and then when i checked it I had like 14. I really dont know what the problem is with it but maybe its just a small glitch in the beta version and it will get smoothed out before too long. My hopes anyway. Good luck!!
Calendar reminders not working!?
Everyone seems to be having a problem with Calendar lately. Reminders not working. Try this to reinforce them. 1. Click on the Calendar Tab at the top of your address book. 2. Click on the "Options" link in the upper right. 3. Click on "Reminders." 4. Ensure that all boxes are still set as you entered them originally, then click "Save" again. Note: Found this in a previous answer. Please check to ensure that the email address "reminders@reply.yahoo.com" is not listed under the blocked addresses section of your Yahoo Mail Account. Calendar reminders come from that address. Problem is, I checked my blocked addresses list and it wasn't in there, but after I did the steps mentioned above, they started working again. ???

As you can read in the article Google Alerts No Working?There is a large Google Web Search Help thread with complaints that Google Alerts stopped sending users their notifications.It was a bug that surfaced around January 10th and was supposedly resolved the same day.Your alerts should work right now. I can't give you the answer you want, but I can agree with you and sympathize. My email hasn't been sending or just sending about 9 to 12 hrs. later. Then sometimes it takes hrs. for my to receive messages. Yahoo used to work great, but you are right about it now. Sorry.
I disagree. Until a little while ago it was possible to create google alerts without having Gmail! Changing to another e-mail has not worked more. Before it was possible. Earlier gave. What was scheduled for my hotmail today still the message is delivered perfectly with no service interruption. I can not add more to hotmail, gmail only. Making filter in Gmail to it. This is ridiculous. Before I forget. Google do it right. Google you are doing it wrong now. Guilt of any employee. Somebody from google gave wrong command. And did the system becomes unfair. Employees of google company. Someone was solving a difficulty and ended up spoiling the googleAlerts the idea of helping. And tied the wrong ass. People are not able to rely on googleAlerts now because once gave to rely adding another email account and now trying to add other email accounts pecebesse a passivity of the googleAlerts forcing people to go to the beach gmail. Gmail was filled with plaster. hard. And ends up inadvertently discriminate against other private accounts. Previously I was pleased to add another email account. After all. We live in a world with international pluralism of power. We have other email accounts. There are other email accounts. Other areas of the internet. We will combine! The engineer, analyst, technician, manager or whoever the googleAlerts are joking. Say that the service will fix this error immeasurable. The certainty that the company is not google asleep at the switch. shall be repair. What was done wrong. And worsened. Become more serious in the relationship network.
Yahoo calendar reminders not working from iPad or iPhone?
My email alert reminders do not work when adding the event on the iPad or iPhone. They both sync with no issues at all I can see all the events on all my iOS devices and the yahoo calendar through my desktop or any desk top for that matter. If I enter a new event on the desktop or lap top, I get the email reminder just as I set them. This is not the case when adding an event on the iPad or iPhone. I set the reminders for 15 min and 30 min. Any ideas Thank you

Without details of your settings it is hard to say where he problem lies. When you are in... System Preferences > Sound > Sound Effects ...do you hear sounds when you select them from the list of available sounds? If not is the Play sound effects through: Internal Speakers set, and the Alert Volume is on, and the Play user interface sound effects ticked? If everything is on there check the Preferences for individual apps... Mail > Preferences > General > New message sound Messages > Preferences > General > Play sound effects
