How do I get New Mail Message counter to reset back to zero?
When I log into Yahoo Messenger it says "You have 275 new mail messages." I actually only have a few or none. This keeps counting up and up and will not reset. Happens on different computers for past 2 weeks. How do I get it to reset?

Please let customer care know, or please message me you user id. This usually is a rare case, it is possible that one of our maintenance programs might have failed, or because an IMAP transaction failed at some point. Either way, it is fixable.
Why does the My Yahoo! mail icon say I have 99+ unread messages when I have no unread mail?
The "99+" shows up on each computer I use, same result whether I use Internet Explorer or Firefox. After Yahoo switched me to the new mail version a couple months ago, the counter climbed every day as I received new emails, but would not go back down when I read them until it got to 99+, which is how's it's stayed. I figured it would resolve itself eventually, but now it's been months. I've seen a few other people posting about the same issue, so I don't think it's just me.

How do I remove the messages count from the WhatsApp icon?
The problem with the message count for Whatsapp icon or badge might not be an issue with the phone but simply the user must be aware that there are three communication methods on WhatsApp and each one registers a message count.So go into the WhatsApp app and click on the message badge or icon and do the same for the video and phone method and that should clear the message count.
