Would an incorrect oil filter lead to engine failure?
I recently had my car serviced for a simple oil and filter change. Normally I perform this myself, however I recently moved to a complex where I cannot in their lot. Immediately after I pull out of the service center, the engine was running noticeably louder and very rough. I asked a tech to look at it, and he just stated that the engine is old is going to get louder (which is true, 218k miles). But this highly noticeable change only occurred after the service... I take the car home, still running rough. After sitting for a day, I go to take the car out, and it stalls shortly after starting, and refuses to start. When turning the ignition, the belts move, but the engine does not start. Later in the day I get the chance to open the hood and take a look; oil levels are fine, but then I go to inspect the filter, and it was just the incorrect one! The filter they installed was too small, for a different filtering setup, and was just loosely sitting in the filtering compartment. I brought this to the attention of the service center, and they're stating that using an incorrect filter would not cause this... and that they can't accept responsibility because they didn't take the filter out themselves. Basically my question is, can the use of an incorrect oil filter, which wouldn't provide a proper seal in the filter compartment, lead to an engine failure as discussed above, in such a short period of time? Samsung smart tv. error model bind?
This is truly disappointing. I also try to reset but it asks for a pin #... I never set up a pin for anything on this tv...anyone know it? Anyways ya same problem here

Im sure alot of you have had this problem before and seen it everywhere, i have to and was like "ahhhhhh that'll never happent o me hahaha... well guess what it did and now i have no clue what to do. I was playing Demons Souls and about to fight Old Hero when i got signed out and wa slike "?????". I have searched the interweb for a while but could not find a complete answer, if anyone could please tell me what to do that would be great. ALSO: no, it has nothing to do with maintence or anything like that because my brother was downstairs playing on his ps3 when this hapened to me =/
How do I bypass the factory anti-theft system on a F-150?
its a 1999 Ford F-150 and it wont crank. I think it has something to do with the theft system that is factory.I left the window down and I think the fuse box got wet.After it dryed out it cranked just fine.but every few days it wont.Now It wont crank at all. The little Theft light has always blinked and there is this wired little ding everyonce in a while while i am driving.But the truck worked so I didnt care. Now I dont know what to do??? ANy help??
