Makeup That Makes You Look Older Varies From Person To Person

Does anyone have permanent makeup? do you suggest it???

I had my eyebrows tatooed because they are very thin. They gave me some numbing gel to put on the skin 1 hour before they did it. It didn't hurt at all. Where I had mine done (by a Registered Nurse/Cosmetic Tattoo Artist) you had to be 21 to get it done. I will warn you to do A LOT of research before having it done. The person that will be doing it should be happy to give you references and let you see pictures. In my case I contacted the people that she had done in the past and actually looked at them in person, and I was pleased with what she had done. I am now one of the people that she refers new clients to, to see her work. I can't stress enough the need to find someone that really knows what they are doing and getting that research done before you do it!!!!!!!!!

How do you make yourself look older with makeup?

Colours takes up a huge role in makeup. In general, lighter colours will make you look younger and darker colours will make you look older.Foundation: Colour that is darker than your skin tone will add heaviness, making you look older.Lips stick: To look younger, we usually use lighter colour lipstick to appear more youthful. Whereas to looking older, is the opposite. Using darker colours will make your lips look less plump, full and without much highlight, resulting in an older look.Eyeliner: Since putting eyeliner on your top lid will make your eyes look bigger and brightens your face, applying eyeliner on your bottom eyelid will drag your features down as well as making your eyes look smaller; meaning looking older. But also note that applying thick eyeliner on your top eyelid will also be aging compared to thin eyeliner.Blush: Dark colours, often brown, can be used to contour your face resulting in a duller look compared to a bright pink blush. Also applying it lower on your cheekbone will create an older look.Eyebrows: Not filling the eyebrows with colour and defining it will make your eyebrows look thinner and less full; meaning older.

Black girls, does wearing a weave/wig makes you look older?

My answer applies to woman over 30-40 ofcourse, young girls can get away with anything normally LOL

I'm not black, but I wanted to weigh in,the reason she may be saying that is because longer hair, anything chin-legth/longer will "shawdow" the face, the shawdows caused by hair can accenuate fine lines/wrinkles in certain lighting.

By having no/short hair, there is nothing hanging there to cause a shawdow over the face,so yes,it could make you look younger, but again it's all about "illusion/shadow".

In general though, longer hair will make MOST people look younger,it all varies on face, the color of the hair, how well it matches the persons skin tone, ect. If they have a color that does not match their skin tone, that will DEFINITLY make them look older.

Why do I look worse when wearing makeup?

You could be wearing it wrong and wearing the wrong colours. There’s actually a science behind makeup that people don’t realize. Different people have different skintones. No matter what race you are. Some skin is olive, others paler. Embrace that colour, rather than trying to go darker. A tan is not the only thing that’s beautiful and orange or brown is not a tan and people can see that it’s not your skin colour. Less is more too!You also get warm and cold skin. That can usually be told by looking at your veins and if the colour appears green or blue. And you can get an Asian warm and African cold. It honestly varies from person to person. My mom has olive skin but it’s cold olive. She looks awful with yellow/gold…warm colours on her face! But cold colours (like blue as an example), beautiful.I am pale complexion and a mix of warm and cold. It’s called porcelain. I love my skin! I feel a bit like a doll when I put makeup on. Like a porcelain doll. Also look out for things like hooded eyes (which I have, too. Look it up! ^ ^ ) Because only certain ways of doing eye makeup will work.If you’re an older woman, don’t wear red lipstick! It makes lips appear thinner! If you have thin lips (old or young) don’t wear dark lipstick. There are so many beautiful colours. Go on that journey and find one! It took me years to find mine but now I don’t really wear much else! You can look this all up!

What makes someone Good-looking?

Most people who are considered good looking (handsome/beautiful) are those whose faces a as close to symmetrical as possible. In other words the right side and left side of their faces are near identical.
There are exceptions but from a scientific viewpoint, that is generally what makes someone beautiful physically.
I have never thought the specific color of a person's eyes make a difference, it's more the shape and how the color matches the rest of one's features.
Height is almost irrelevant. I am a full foot taller than my Wife. It does help if the guy is a few inches taller than the girl but it's not a deal breaker.
My Wife looks nothing like my Mother nor would I want her to. I don't know where you heard that but I would totally disagree with your theory in this department.
You have a nice Summer too!

Should I wear makeup?

I'm 13 and I'm in 8th grade. I want to wear makeup so I can look pretty but my friends say I still look pretty without makeup but I just want guys to notice me.

Do people actually notice or care when a woman wears makeup?

This varies widely from person to person. Here's how it strikes me.A woman with perfect "model" makeup is sort of like a Greek statue or something; she's attractive in the same way that a landscape is attractive. Too much and she starts to look like a store mannequin, although that, of course, depends heavily on the woman and on the makeup.I hate to say it, but most women look better with makeup, although the first before-and-after picture in Lila Ernst's answer shows an exception. I tend to think that women look better with subtle makeup, such that you'd only notice the makeup if you had just seen them without it.A personal quirk of mine: there is, for me, something weirdly hot about a woman with no makeup who looks like she just rolled out of bed, with mussed-up hair and such. Perhaps it's because people look more animalistic in that state, and sex, after all, is a very "creaturely" activity.

What is the appropriate age to allow your daughter to wear makeup?

Well, this may vary from culture to culture.I have three daughters. They have all been keen on nail polish from young age like 2 years old and I have painted their nails and they have been so happy. They have wanted lipstick, lipgloss etc also early on, and when I have applied some I have given them some too, I remember it was the best thing when I was a kid. Also lip balm has been in their opinion fantastic. My three year old actually smeared it on her teeth too.But as we move on to other kinds of make-up I have been more careful, my oldest daughter was begging me for about a year to get mascara until I said yes, she can have a mascara and some other make-up if she always removes it and does not wear it to school until she is 13.I taught her how to apply make-up without looking like a clown and stressed the importance of proper skin care. My oldest is now 12, she does not wear make-up everyday, but if she goes to a party or out for dinner she might put some make-up on.My second daughter is 10, she has not yet shown any interest in make-up, none, so naturally I am not forcing her.My 3 year old is perfectly happy with having some nail polish now and again and also her beloved lip balm.So summa summarum, I think that when a girl is 11-> make-up like mascara and some eye-shadow is ok, the key is to really teach them how to properly take care of their skin to avoid damaging it and having break outs.
