Male Platy Suddenly Terrified

Why is my penis suddenly bigger than normal?

Well I can’t really say for sure as you didn’t provide any details at all.As Joe said it could just be that you’ve experienced an erection. It could be that you’ve hit puberty and your genitals decided to start growing. They can get a lot bigger pretty fast.It could be that you’ve changed underwear and it isn’t cooped up in tight briefs anymore and now has a chance to relax and stretch out to its full flaccid size.I’ll tell you a story though which might relate.Once upon a time many many years ago I lie in bed playing with my penis until it got bigger and harder than I’d ever seen it to that point. This was way back before I started producing semen and at that time I could achieve orgasm over and over without losing my erection. So there I was just doing it over and over and each time it got harder until the point that I had to stop because it was becoming painful and felt like my penis might just pop.I’d become so incredibly aroused that it was just beyond any normal erection I’d had up to that point. That could be what has happened for you too. However there is always the possibility of something medically wrong. If you’re an adult who had long since finished puberty and your penis is growing considerably then I would consult a physician. If you’re young then I suggest reading up on puberty and the changes that happen for boys and go from there.Don’t be scared to ask a doctor about any issues going on down there though. You should never be embarrassed to talk to them about what is going on with your body and in fact they need to know everything that is going on in order to treat you properly. So no holding back from the Doc.

Why is my male platy suddenly attacking my female platy?

With platys and mollies and some other fish a when a male looks like it attacking the female the it is a sign of the female about to give birth. Most of the time the male will follow her and stay under her it almost looks like he is nipping at her. I would suggest if you are tired and want to go to bed turn the fish tanks light off and keep the room dark. It may help with the platys not being able to find some of the babies because the platys will eat their babies. It would also help if you have plantations. If you have a breeding box then it should come with a piece that the babies can slip nder and not get back up. That should also help save some of the babies. Just make sure that the peice is backwards because the babies will not be able to get under. I don't like using the nets because it is more stressful on the mother. If you want to leave the tank light off and completely have the room dark some of the babies will get eaten but not all of them. Also if you want to do that i would majesty sure they have enough hiding spots.

If you don't know how to take care of the babies here's how:

First if you can i would go and get some baby food because they will eat at 2 days old most of the time. Or you can take some of your other fish food and crush it very fine. People say to let the babies out once they are not able to fit in the bigger fishes mouths. I let my babies out when they are 1/3 the size bigger than when they were born. If you feel iffy that you can leave then in there another week ire two or until you think they are big enough to cone out. Whatever you think is the best way.

Good luck
hope this helped

Can a man's sexual attraction suddenly reverse?

Hey guys,A question about male sexual attraction. I recently met this guy at a party, and we talked to each other all night. I felt plenty sexually attracted, but I couldn't stick around to see where that might have gone since I had to get on a flight. But the guy told me he'd text me since he'd be in my city later that week. I heard separately from the friends that this guy was very sexually attacted to me too.Sure enough, got a text from him the next day. To cut to the chase, he asked if I was free that weekend, I said yes, but he said he had to figure it out since he may be get shipped off for another job. I never heard back from him...So my question is: can a guy just stop feeling sexual attraction for a woman, even if he hasn't slept with her yet? I know it's stupid to hope this, since he never got back in touch with me, and there's nothing I did that could have scared him off. I just wonder if a guy can "turn off" like that and do a 360 on his sexual attraction. Thanks very much for any insight!

Why are my cats terrified of the dining room all of a sudden?

Responding to A2A:One possible explanation is that some animal got into kitchen scared the cats and got out. Probably nothing supernatural though.I had this kind of experience:Summer of year 20**. I’m preparing to leave apartment, open the door and see a stray cat sitting just outside of it, right near the door frame.^^ Looked like this only darker. The stray cat makes eye contact with me, and madly dashes inside the apartment, into main room, scaring bejeezus of my white house catwho performs surprised jump, like the cats do. I grab my cat and lock her in the toilet, meanwhile the stray is desperately trying to run up the wall, unable to get out of the room.I return to the room. No stray cat. The apartment door is closed. So the cat is inside the apartment. Somewhere. I walk around the room, fail to find the cat and head to balcony. Nothing. I look around , and hear a brief split-second sound of glass being moved across the stone floor. I turn around and see the stray trying to hide from me by apparently attempting to blend with a wall behind a glass jar which it moved.I grab nearest towel, wrap the stray in it, carry it outside, release it, prevent another attempt to dash into my apartment, and it runs off. I return back, and release my confused cat out of the toilet.So.My cat carefully walks into the room, meows sadly, and carefully starts sniffing surroundings, obviously afraid to move. She spent next 15 minutes or so checking for the signs of intruder, and clearly being very careful/afraid about it. As my friend told me later “Well, imagine what would you do if you opened a door, some hobo ran inside your apartment and hid somewhere.”So. Maybe something similar happened while you were out, and scared the cat. An animal got in and got out, or maybe something fell and scared the cats. Maybe there was a loud noise. Or some electric appliance activated. Something like that. It is unlikely that it is something paranormal, try to observe and attempt to figure out what it is all about.

Why has my cat suddenly want to be on me or next to me?

It’s November and if you live in the Northern Hemisphere, in an older home, you’ll notice that all at once your cats become very affectionate. It’s because it’s fall and it’s cold outside. You are a warm body. They already love you but at this time of year they will love you more.I have one warming up right now between my leg and the arm of my recliner. I usually have cats in my lap and a miniature longhaired dachshund draped around my neck all winter long.Come spring the cats won’t visit me as much but the dog will remain.I agree with the other folks who have posted answers here, I just thought I’d add my opinion too.

Why is my cat suddenly affectionate?

Cats act affectionate temporarily when they want something. If the change appears permanent, then ne decided they like you.Hopefully you adopted a shelter cat, which means your also adopting all the cats previous history. If they had a previous owner they loved, they could be morning the loss of that owner. If they had kittens and were taken from the kittens when they were adopted out, it might miss it’s kittens. If it was traumatized by a previous owner it might feel scared of anyone new.My cat Freckles, wasn’t sure about me when she first arrived as a kitten:She would tolerate my attempts at giving her affection, but she never really sought me out for affection like her adopted brother Pounce-Quick.One of the few pictures I have of him as a kitten that aren’t blurry. He was constantly running around playing. Trying to get Freckles to play with him (usually by assaulting her tail). But one thing Freckles did do to my surprise and irritation was to slather all my female friends with unabashed affection. She was 6 months old when I got her, while Pounce was only about 6 weeks old. We guessed she must have had a foster mom she really missed. After about a year and a half of living with me, and my constant gentle attempts at showing her affection, she finally jumped on my lap and started purring. Ever since then she’s constantly on my lap if someone else isn’t there.Turns out she really, really, really like head skritches:And she has a deplorable tendency to drool when I pet her. But it’s worth it, she’s a sweetheart.

Platy fish, i think one male is bullying the other male...?

Ok, there's nothing to worry about, unless their fins are getting badly damaged, or one is showing signs of stress. I have many platys, and they sometimes enjoy chasing one another. If they are hurting each other, separate the two with a Plastic Aquarium Divider, (very cheap, and they allow water flow and distribution). For platys, keeping 2 females per one male is recommended, so the males won't fight for the females. The thing platys are best at is making more and more platy...
You can rearrange the plants/rock structures to minimize this further.
Good Luck!

Male or two female platies?

I would say get 4-5 platies and since you said you didn't want any fry, then you should just get all females or all males. You need 2 females for every male you get... unless you just get all the same gender. I would highly recommend just getting 2 males and 4 females or just get 1 male and 2 females. The will most likely have fry, but since you seem to have more fish in the tank, the other fishies will just eat them right away. Hope this helps!

Oh, since you said you already have a male platy, I would just add another male platy with 2 more female platies instead of getting 2 MORE males (not including the one you have) and 4 females. Just add 1 male and 4 females and you should be fine (you need to get 4 females because since you will have 2 males and each male need 2 females, you need 4 of them)!

Why is my cat suddenly afraid of the other cats and is hiding after living together with them for 9 years?

I can’t give you an answer unfortunately, but can I share a similar story? I have three cats, one of whom is now an outside cat because she HATES my two other cats so much and will not stay inside my apartment with them, though she lived with them about 2 years without growling like crazy whenever she sees them as she now does. My friend says she is upset, because she was here before them when I rescued the other two who showed up as meowing starving kittens in front of my door, and she sees them as usurpers, but they all lived here together two years prior without incident. Not to worry about her, I live in a gated apartment building, and she always stays outside safe from dogs and such. She’s most of the time just outside my door, but I do wish she’d come inside again. I bring her inside on rare ocassion, but she goes absolutely insane, so I let her out again. I hope I haven’t compounded your worries with my story, I just thought it might give a little insight to a problem that we apparently both face dealing with very emotional kitty cats.

Why is my platy being bullied and what can I do?

I've only ever kept bettas before, but I recently purchased a pair of male platys to go in a 10 gallon tank with one of my female bettas. The betta gets along just fine with the platys, ignoring them most of the time, but the platys do not seem to get along with each other! The platys were about the same size when I purchased them and they were getting along fine in the quarantine tank, but now in the main tank, one of them chases and bullies the other significantly. Whenever I feed them, the bully fish chases the other off and just generally chases him around the tank whenever he sees him. The victim fish took to cowering amongst some of the live plants in the tank-- clearly trying to hide...

The victim fish is now a good bit thinner, probably due to not being allowed to eat, and his tail seems to have been damaged by the other fish...

I've separated the victim and put him back in the quarantine tank (mainly because I couldn't catch the bully to move him!) and put some healing liquid in and make sure he got some food, but I was wondering:

a) Why were they fighting like that? Is it not a good idea to have just two males? Could it be the tank size? What did I do wrong -- I'd like to fix this, I feel terrible about causing them this stress!

b) Is there anyway I can help them get along? I was thinking of taking all involved fish out and reintroducing them with the victim fish first -- so that it is more his territory or something?

c) Is there any way to help the victim fish heal or will his tail be damaged permanently? I've heard male betta tails can heal/grow back -- is the same true of platys? And if not, will he always be at risk because of his size/the damage?

Thanks so much for your help!
