Man Constantly Talking To Himself Often Saying The Same Thing Repeatedly

My girlfriend keeps saying the same thing over and over again...is it normal?

I'm in a long distance relationship with my girlfriend (she's in Japan and I'm in USA)...well, i've noticed that every time she emails me or write on my facebook wall, she always write ''I miss you''...we've been in this relationship for over 3 months now and at the first month or two, of course it's normal to say 'I miss you' EVERYTIME...but for 3 months and she's still saying the same thing? I've told her so many times that I miss her too and that i lover her...anyways, is this normal for a long distance relationship or is she hinting something??? cuz i'm kind a getting bored of reading and replying 'i miss you'...i know we miss each other, but for everysingle email that we sent and received, it's pretty much 'i miss you'...ok~ i don't really know what i'm trying to say but i hope you guys kind of understand this...

My dad constantly whispers to himself, and it really freaks me out. does anyone else have this situation?

it's pretty normal, most people do it. i personally consider it a bad habit because from an onlooker's perspective it looks weird, but it's no different than talking to yourself in your head. Some people just prefer hearing themselves think, so to speak.

What is called self talking mental disease?

Talking to oneself is not a mental disorder. Many people talk out loud to themselves when they’re involved in a particularly challenging task; you see it especially in children. For most people, this “self-talk” becomes non-verbal as they age, but some people still talk to themselves as they grow to adulthood, especially when they’re alone. Watch a college student working on a difficult math problem or essay and you may see them muttering or whispering to themselves, trying to keep the words or numbers straight in their heads. People also talk to themselves when trying to remember something, such as when you say a phone number to yourself over and over, after you have read it but before you have gotten to the phone, so that you don’t forget it.Some mental illnesses can make it appear as though someone is “talking to themselves”. When someone is having hallucinations and doesn’t know they’re hallucinations, they may talk to the hallucinations, which are often voices they perceive talking to them. But many people who hear voices don’t talk back to their voices, or do so silently. Hallucinations are most commonly found with schizophrenia or bipolar disorder, but it’s possible to have hallucinations for many other reasons, including being sick or from the effects of drugs.Tourette syndrome can cause vocal tics, which are uncontrollable behaviors, a lot like “mental hiccups”. Vocal tics can include saying words and phrases uncontrollably. Tics can be annoying, but people who have them aren’t psychotic or confused; their brains just randomly trigger movements or sounds. If someone is saying a word or phrase uncontrollably and without context, it’s probably a tic.Autistic people might also talk “to themselves (that is, talk without intending to communicate with another person). Sometimes it’s because they also have a vocal tic, but sometimes it’s because they’re playing with words or phrases. This is known as stimming, a harmless behavior seen in young children and autistic adults (and typical adults, as well, to some extent; in typical adults we call it “fidgeting”). Vocal stims can involve repeating words, just to hear them spoken or feel their rhythm. Some autistic people with particularly good memories recite favorite texts in a repetitive fashion, up to and including entire movie scripts. Most of the time, people talking to themselves aren’t mentally ill. They’re just using words to pin down their thoughts and make them easier to organize.

What does it mean when you say something and t.v. says same thing consistantly does it mean ghosts?

The tv shows are already written and played out...so they are not copying you. Whats happening is what ever is on your mind, it happens to be brought up just at the right time, what people call coincidences. But there are no coincidences, they are made to happen for a purpose. So when you hear something on the tv or radio, or read something, That strikes you, Something is trying to get your attention, what you need to do is, then take notice, and see if it has a message for you.. It could be about anything, but specially with things that are worrying you, or something you have been pondering over..Next time it happens, listen further and take notice of what the topic is on tv.. Alot of people notice the coincidences, but dont see the message behind it, thats meant for you.. and until you get it, it will keep happening...If its a news show, and your words seem repeated on tv, watch the whole show, it proberly wont be that topic, but a topic that will be bought up, on the news, something that will touch home for you...Youll be surprised at how this happens...

Another example... If you have been pondering and worrying whether to buy a new house or not, and it sits with you for a while, not knowing which way to go..Then all of a sudden something will catch your eye, You might of driven a different way home one day, and you see a big billboard, with a message
" Now is the time to buy your new home"... An add for a builders company.... These are messages and answers we get all the time and should take notice of them....
