Can I punch a hole in my drivers license/credit card to wear on a lanyard?
I live in florida now and I wear silky sports shorts all the time because its hot. I've already lost my wallet twice because it easily falls out without my noticing but luckily I traced my steps both times and someone had found it for me. I am sure I wont be so lucky a 3rd time so is this okay?

No. But I worked in a factory, on my days off from my true job, in order to pay debts and save money. In me true job I was a senior management Operational Manger with freedom to ply my skills/duties managing people in some difficult situations. But this other job was in a factory and we got half hour lunch break. (in UK) So when the lunch bell went 40 people would rush to the clocking-out machine. I would never run, so I was at the back of the queue - number 40?? By the time I clocked out some minutes had been burned up into the break. BUT … when I went to the canteen, of course I would be number 40 in that queue!!! By the time I got my cup of Tea and Kit Kat I had about 20 minutes to eat and then clock back in.This is what I did: Looking at everyone queuing to clock out. I went to the canteen bought my Tea and Kit Kat or sandwich etc and put them on a table. I then went back to clock out, there being no queue. Then I went and sat down to have my lunch.One day the Supervisor Mary… shouted (she had a gutter gravel voice) what do you think you are doing. I said, “using my intelligence”. She said; “no you dont, you queue up and clock out the same as the rest”. It was a culture shock to have to obey instructions instead of being in charge myself. I especially do not accept illogical things in this way. But… Mary was in charge and she was a hard worker so respect was due to her.The next day and thereafter, I ate my home prepared sandwiches and drink in my car.
My supervisor keeps altering my time card!!?
Ok so there are a lot of problems here that need addressing. First - the company cannot just CHANGE your hours even if you forget to punch out for lunch. If you are on the clock you must be paid that is the law. They can however write you up for not punching out for lunch. Second - who is telling you that you need to work those 12-15 hour days? If you are working them without permission or at your own desire than yes they have to pay you but in my shop you'd be written up unless I pre-authorized you to work those hours. Milking the clock (intentionally or otherwise) is a terminal offense at most places. This Supervisor (who clearly has no idea the trouble he is in because of this) may be ignorantly trying to save your job but is breaking the law while doing it. Third - the law states that you as the employee HAVE to take lunch (minimum 30 minutes but it varies state to state) and 2 breaks for every 8 hours of work (generally 10 minute breaks but it also can vary). If you decide NOT to take those breaks and stay on the clock and work you can (and should) be reprimanded because you are putting the company at legal risk. Wal-Mart had several class action law suits where their employees sued for being made to work on their lunches and breaks. All you'd have to do is report that you were being forced to do the same (and your time card would be used as evidence) and you coudl cause some serious problems for your company. In short - you need to STOP working 12-15 hour days if you are not authorized to do so. you need to START taking every lunch and every break you are given for the entire time. You need to have a meeting with your HR department and ask them to pull a "time card audit report" showing the changes your Supervisor has made to your time card (you say they pay a company that does this, nearly all of these software programs can tell you who edited the time card and what changes they made). You need to request that you be paid back for all the time he took from you or you will contact a lawyer. I would also request that the Supervisor be disciplined for violating federal labor laws. Again say you'll contact a lawyer if your issues are not resolved. Finally - start obeying the rules. Work the hours you are scheduled, take your lunches and breaks and 90% of your problems go away.
How do I change the data in a biometric attendance system?
If your Biometric is used with Acess Control , you can’t change any log report or data related to access, but if your Biometric device is used with attendance management devices, then you can modify the data but still that modification will be registered with details such as the Admin user name, who made modification, time of modification, date of modification etc.Most of the security systems are designed in a way that no one can tamper devices.
Can you get fired for attempting to clock out?
Well thats a long story... To put it simply.... If you dont have an employment contract or union contract then you are an "At will" employee and the employer can terminate you without notice and with or without giving you a reason.. File for unemployment you might get lucky and get it but since you were terminated its not likely, then Start looking for another job.
Why are some McDonald's customers mean?
I'm a Manager at a Mcdonalds and it's a tough call do not quit that is the worst thing you can do i had someone actually throw a punch at me because we made his burger wrong all you can do is say sorry and do the best to fix the situation when a customer is an *** I breath and say to my self it's just burgers and french fries i think they do it just because they want something to ***** about you know so they just go there to do it lol in my case cause its always the same customers that are complaining just breath its nothing ur doing you seem to be doing a good job :) don't give up people just expect a lot from us McPeople :P P.s. I've been spit on and had a shake thrown on me and food thrown on me and it sucks i know just breath you will pull through it ppl are just *** holes in general
